Ichigo's Page (Hollowfication)

You've probably answered this question before and it's kinda hard to put into words, but here goes..... my question is about this part right here:

"Third Mask: During Ichigo's fight with Ulquiorra, it changed to a mask that resembles a Human skull with two horns. Two stripes begin on the back of his mask and go to the front, resulting in a shape that resembles a broken outline of a heart. The eye holes also widen from their slit shapes, becoming more open."

Is this even accurate? i mean, technically this doesn't count as a mask but another full hollow transformation. right? what do you think? KidRah 15:50, April 10, 2010 (UTC)

Censorship of Mila-Rose's Resurreccion form?

I have posted this question on [[Talk:Mila-Rose | Mila-Rose's talk page]] a little over a month ago, but I have not recieved any replies, so I thought I'd ask you.

I have seen both the anime and the manga versions of Mila-Rose's Resurreccion form, and I've yet notice any difference between the two regarding the "breast-claws" (as mentioned in the article itself). So how did we reach the conclusion that her Resurreccion had been "toned down"? A side-by-side comparison image (like some other articles) would be helpful. MarqFJA 20:46, April 11, 2010 (UTC)

Unresolved issues

Hi! I just wanted to know about some issues in talk pages that have yet to be resolved, like Harribel's release command. Adam Restling already gave his opinion in the Translation corner (I'm not so sure of how to link to it, so I'm leaving it there). I also opened a discussion on Soifon's page (labeled Double Seiyuu) about the change in her Seiyuu in September and nothing was resolved about it, even if there was some answer from the admins, the discussion remains open and without a final decision. I understand that you guys have a lot of stuff to take care about, and I know there are a lot of open discussions that can't be closed just like that, I'm more interested in what the resolution will be about Harribel's release command, I don't think there's much more to say to the topic. If you have not watched then you must. Also the censoring on Harribel was acceptable, it actually looked normal, It was how I imagined it would look. Plus Chad as Rocky, Nel, Hiyori, Mashiro, as the little rascals, Tosen as Michael Jackson, and more. ED big shout out to American pop culture. --Lemursrule 22:09, April 13, 2010 (UTC)

Hey Yyp quick question, I've got some more screenshots from the latest Bleach episode but they have subtitles as it is from the Dattebayo sub. Would this make them obselete to be used or would they be allowed? Prophet of Sanghelios 10:24, April 14, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah that's what I was thinking, but I don't have any internet download left to get the RAW (resets 2 days from now damn!) plus WhiteArmour is doing a pretty good job with the screenshots so I think I'll leave it to him by now. If any pictures aren't up by then I'll put 'em up though. Prophet of Sanghelios 10:48, April 14, 2010 (UTC)

Hey Yyp-senpai, I have some images for the Mashiro and Baraggan articles from the new opening, they could replace the manga versions. --|WhiteArmor|(Talk)|-- 12:53, April 14, 2010 (UTC)

One quick question, are opening theme pictures not allowed on articles? --|WhiteArmor|(Talk)|--

Thanks for the clarification. --|WhiteArmor|(Talk)|--

Yeah, we're having the same problem at Narutopedia, they also have a new opening theme with lots of images that haven't been shown in the anime yet and therefore aren't canon and can't be used, same as here. --|WhiteArmor|(Talk)|--

Resolved: images from the opening & endings are not to be used on the articles.

Character Image of Isshin Kurosaki

I don`t know If it`s just me, but I really don`t like the image that was put at the Character Image on the profile of Isshin Kurosaki . Cause in that image , I feel like his is just a fool , and not someone who is very serious . And the image in which he was portrayed as an mortician , with that black suite , seemed more serious and more upbeat . Could you tell me, why was that image replaced ? That Mortician image suited him more , than his current image . And that image was more directly linked to what is currently happening in the manga story , because he is portrayed as someone who is serious although he had a moment of gooffing around in the manga( when he hit Ichigo with his own head) , when he came alongside Ichigo to battle Aizen and Gin .

Featured Article

What's gonna happen to the featured article? It's a three-way tie. --|WhiteArmor|(Talk)|-- 19:48, April 15, 2010 (UTC)

Resolved:question answered and vote page archived.

There seems to be a considerable issue with these pics that we should have a policy for. The intro pics shouldn't be admissible. Im not entirely sure whats wrong with waiting for the actual episode to depict the scene that users find it necessary to rush the process. It doesn't do anything but clutter the sight with more pictures and the intro pics will likely end up being replaced anyway as they aren't entirely accurate to what is portrayed in the story line. They should only be usable on a users page if not then they are deleted just as any other pic not in use. Salubri (Talk) 09:23, April 16, 2010 (UTC)

Yea Id agree with that addition to the policy. As far as the featured picture. It doesnt matter much to me though it would seem to fall under the same issue in most respects but ill let you decide that one.Salubri (Talk) 10:59, April 16, 2010 (UTC)

I'm with Salubri on the intro pics. Intro pics in the past have been very inaccurate in comparison to what transpires in the story (such as Uryu fighting Hitsugaya in the 2nd Intro, or Renji fighting Byakuya in the 8th Intro). While it is true that there are a lot of manga-based images in the intro, it's better overall if we wait until the events actually happen in the Anime. Arrancar109 (Talk) 22:33, April 16, 2010 (UTC)

Old Character Infobox Problem

It doesn't seem to be a common problem, since most of the character articles are of single characters, but while trying to fix Lumina and Verona's page, I discovered that the old character infobox in general only capitalizes the first letter of the first word and leaves the rest of the words lower case, regardless of how you type in it. This problem seems to only apply in the Gender section of said character infobox. We should probably think of solutions to this, since we don't have the new character infoboxes usable for the more minor characters as of yet. Arrancar109 (Talk) 06:53, April 17, 2010 (UTC)

Soifon's Seiyuu

I'm having a little trouble with making out when the change in Soifon's seiyuu was made. I checked the credits for all episodes from 181 to 206. Last time I saw Kawakami was for 182. The next time Soifon appeared was 186 (3 September 2008, after Kawakami went on break), but strangely, the ending was creditless (I checked two versions), so I'm not sure which of the two it is. After comparing the voice to both Kawakami's and Kuwashima's Soifons it seems to me that 186 Soifon is Kuwashima, but I can't make a final veredict on it. What do you suggest? Lia Schiffer (Talk) 17:33, April 18, 2010 (UTC)

Then... what episode should we mark the change? The voices are too similar... I also found it strange that the episode was released without credits. My only guess would be that it was to cover the change in Seiyuu, but I can't think of a reason to hide it, especially since there wasn't a major overhaul in the cast. Lia Schiffer (Talk) 00:47, April 20, 2010 (UTC)

Hey I think the reason those two episode's endings were creditless was probably because of the change. The reason why Tomoko Kawakami could no longer voice soifon due to a very serious illness and surgery. They most likely left it open in case she was well enough to come back. Unfortunately, while she has been able to voice some characters, I think her illness had something to due with her vocal cords, and she just simply could not voice soifon anymore without hurting herself. As the episode in which the voices change, its episode 185, I noticed her voice is A LOT deeper in 185 and thats probably because Kuwashima probably just got called in to do a few episodes until Kawakami came back so she had not fully adjusted her voice to the part as it is heard now, with hardly a difference between the two. I am familiar with Kuwashima's voice and that is definitely her in 185. So, the final verdict here is that Tomoko Kawakami voiced Soifon from episodes 24- 181 and Hōko Kuwashima voices her episodes 185-present. Hope this helps ----Lemursrule 02:36, April 20, 2010 (UTC)

Thank you.

Thanks for your extremely satisfying answer. I was very upset that those 04 story arcs were missing. Originally, I thought that they were not there as lots of people don't like, or hate the filler arcs. I don't know how to edit, at all, but if I did, I would add a whole bunch of them, myself!!! Well, thank you, again. I'm happy, now.

At the same time, I'm not as analytical as alot of people are, so, I'd still need alot more help..... That's 02 things that I'd need help with.

01. editing/adding information

02. analizing information

Finally, thanks, again.

Valid votes

I saw you moved invalid votes for the Featured picture and quote, but I'm quoting one vote that caught my attention and that was kept as valid, for the Isshin Kurosaki: Flick picture, Support vote. "Nothing beats the MiddleFingerOfDeath!!!" That's all the voter says. How is this a valid reason to vote for a picture? Or for anything at all? Lia Schiffer (Talk) 02:36, April 21, 2010 (UTC)

Featured Article

I'm not positive, as I haven't done much administrative work in the Featured Article lately, but because they appeared in the anime recently, shouldn't Chad, Renji Abarai, and Orihime Inoue be options? We were also asked about Rukia Kuchiki, but I'm not sure if referencing on her article is complete yet. Arrancar109 (Talk) 20:11, April 21, 2010 (UTC)

Ok, this has gone too far. All I did was a list ten reasons to vote for Gin on my talk page. But User:Godisme is actually going around begging for votes! Since when is that allowed and most importantly, how is that not gaining votes for the character. I mean, heck, Godisme actually even said in his message on my talk page "see Isshin fans can oppose too!". More then that, Godisme has labelled me, Lia, Mohrpheus and GinIchimaru the "Ichimaru Gin fanclub" - a term that Weedefinition actually used in his opposition vote. It's insulting and belitting, not to mention completely incorrect! Neither Lia nor Mohrpheus are particularly big Gin fans and I find it highly insulting to be accused of opposing Isshin just because I am a fan of Gin. I actually have compared their articles side by side, a feat I am willing to bet none of the people opposing Gin did. I mean, seriously, most of the votes given in opposition to Gin should be disqualified under "no valid reason". Heck, a lot more to the point and valid "support" votes for Gin got disqualified for "no valid" reason then the ones left standing for Isshin. Seriously, this entire process has been completely undermined by Godisme and his vote begging. I mean, all the opposing votes are even parroting his line about Gin's article being full of grammer problems! Not to mention he personally contacted and encouraged people TO go and oppose Gin's article. Who can accuse me or anyone who voted for Gin's article of that! I suggest rather then trying to sort out this mess you, Salibur and Arrancar109 hold a vote between Gin's article and Isshin's article and decide on May's feature article like that. In addition, might I also suggest a line in the voting policy barring people for contacting other users and encouraging them to vote one way or another? Thanks. Tinni (Talk) 16:54, April 29, 2010 (UTC)

I find it insulting that Tinni accuses me of begging for votes. Here is what I did. Two users who I normally talk to got their votes deleted, I meesaged them and said that there votes were deleted and if they wanted to they could recast them since they were deleted for no valid reason. Later, one user messaged me thanking me for supporting Isshin and I mentioned that all the Gin fans were ganging up on Isshin and that he could go ahead and throw up an oppose vote if he wanted to. I never said they had to do anything or say anything in particular. Also, to Tinni, how are you insulted by being called the Gin fan club when right on your page it says you are an insane ichimaru gin fan girl. I did nothing that was not allowed and the vote should continue as always--God (Talk) 17:04, April 29, 2010 (UTC)

I would like to back up Godisme on his claim. My vote was casted on my own free will and sans any pressure from him. Since when does two votes = begging? If he was really begging, he would have asked more than three, in order to tip the scales in his favour. maggosh 17:06, April 29, 2010 (UTC)

Just to be clear, I find the whole "Gin fanclub" thing offensive in this instance because 1) Lia and Mohrpheus aren't Gin fans - thus the statement was a inaccurate generalisation, 2) I object to how it has been used and the negative connotation it carried - it would be fairer to say that those who favour Isshin as a character ganged up on Gin then those who like Gin ganging up on Isshin (especially since on GinIchimaru and I are actual Gin fans), 3) I found it insulting because it implied that the four of us, who all independently choose to oppose Isshin's article, somehow colluded to oppose him - when it was those opposing Gin that did the collusion. Tinni (Talk) 17:28, April 29, 2010 (UTC) I hate to keep arguing but Tinni is wrong. Check my post on her wall entitled Missing Facts. When I said Gin fan club it was not meant as insulting in the least and of the users who opposed Gin I mentioned opposing to only one after they contacted me first. I claim you ganged up on Isshin because you posted your oppose vote and like magic, 5 minutes later there are 4 oppose votes on Isshin, this cannot have been coincidence. --God (Talk) 17:42, April 29, 2010 (UTC)

In relation to all this I have issued this statement to both involved: Considering I have been watching the Featured Article all the past week. I also have been watching whatever this is unfold and not in a good way. What I have witnessed so far is unnecessary rivalry whether joking or no the votes are supposed to be about article quality. I fully understand people have their favorite characters and are more inclined to vote for them and I turn a blind eye to that point mostly if the concept of the voting policy is followed. Fixing votes either by encouraging or influencing others is not acceptable. If a users vote is unacceptable they should have read the voting policy to determine what is acceptable. If they aren't concerned enough to find out why their vote was discounted and correct the situation then thats their problem. But such things are between the user and the admin, not other users goading them into shifting the vote for their favored pick or otherwise. The oppose votes are for acceptable opposition to issues detailed in the voting policy. My issue is what appears as an organized effort to subvert votes in one direction. The matter will be discussed amongst the admin as to what votes determined by situations involving what i detailed above, will be kept and what wont. Hopefully in the future such actions wont be necessary. In such an issue I would speak to you and Arrancar109 on the Admin page. Salubri (Talk) 18:20, April 29, 2010 (UTC)

Her article is in bad shape as you have seen. I can't believe I am saying this but I think it should be locked and fixed up by the admins. I would do much of it myself but I have finals this week and next and am stressed out of my mind. At the very least there should be a collaboration of users to fix her article up.--Godisme (Talk) 20:15, April 21, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, as long as it gets down I suppose. When finals are over I'll work on the grammar and things as reading through it is impossible because of its disregard for the rules of english. --Godisme (Talk) 20:36, April 21, 2010 (UTC)

Opening and Closing Pages/Visored

You left a message regarding my reopening of a topic for discussion, but that was because literally nothing was discussed. Not only did I provide evidence that the Japanese media clearly only uses "Visored" as a romanization, but aside from that the person who closed the discussion only proved that there was one point where the Viz translation used 'Vizard' despite later issues correcting this. What about Viz's choice to romanize "Yasutora Sado" as "Chad Yasutora"? They corrected that, and literally this is the exact same thing. It's not an open and shut case, and it's definitely worthy of discussion.-Mr. Toto 21:44, April 24, 2010 (UTC)

So is this going to be discussed at all? I already provided a link in which "Visored" was used in the Japanese media. Are there any instances in the Japanese version in which "Vizard" is used?-Mr. Toto 16:38, May 7, 2010 (UTC)

I wanted to get the approval of the other admins before I continue to do this. I proposed in Yammy's discussion page that we change all occurrences of Espada 10 or 10th Espada to 10th Arrancar and such. No one in the manga has ever said 10th Espada so I figured it should be reflected on the site. Minato and Tinni approved and we myself and Minato made a few changes and Arrancar109 then said that we should get approval from the admins before continuing to do so. The Saga pages

Well Tinni brought the subject up even though I have also stated my issue previously. Basically she is in agreement that the saga pages should go. They are nothing more than a wall of text, unreferenced, with fan made titles and offer no accuracy or purpose. They pretty much defeat the purpose of the entire sight and what were trying to do here as far as bringing quality work. In any case I have already placed a marked for deletion sign on the Arrancar saga page. The idea is to delete all of them as the fight project pretty much handles the various arcs and are supplemented by the article pages and the volume and anime projects. If we can get them gone as soon as possible that would be great. Salubri (Talk) 01:43, May 8, 2010 (UTC)

Is there an official source that cites Orihime's hair color as "Burnt Orange" or Zommari's eyes as "Golden Yellow"? Because if not, I believe these are unnecessary descriptions that don't really need to be put in the article. If there is, however, please tell me where these descriptions come from. Avolling 07:27, May 9, 2010 (UTC)

It comes from how it's actually colored, as well as users' familiarity of the shades of color used. A general description of it can be "orange", but "burnt orange" is a specific shade of orange. Same case with "golden yellow" being a specific shade of yellow. There's nothing unnecessary about specified shades of certain colors. So, in other words, the edits you've been doing are generalizations of what colors they are, but the descriptions of colors like "burnt orange" and "golden yellow" are more specific and accurate descriptions of what those colors are. Arrancar109 (Talk) 07:47, May 9, 2010 (UTC)

I'm sorry, but I just don't agree. Descriptions like Burnt Orange are arbitrary, and I could (and by your logic should) go right ahead and change the description to something like "Tangerine" or "Gamboge" in order to be more accurate. There's no way to classify something as a specific shade other than by personal opinion, so classifying a color as something more broad makes descriptions more efficient and in many ways, more proper. Avolling 16:39, May 9, 2010 (UTC)

Tangerine would in-fact be more accurate description for Orihime's hair colour then Orange, which is what you changed her hair colour to. For that matter, when you say yellow, most people thing Yellow. Not Golden Yellow which is what Zommari's eye colour is. In short, what you are changing the descriptions to were in fact inaccurate. In addition, you had no right to alter the descriptions so drastically based on your own personal opinion of what the descriptions should be. Most of us can tell different shades of colour and would not appreciate seeing the hairs of Orihime, Rangiku and Ichigo all described as "orange" when the shades are clearly different. After all, she is the one who closed it and then, the very next day, edited it even more. May I make a suggestion? If you decide to enforce strict policy and delete everything that was posted after the discussion was closed, do not in any way be selective by sparing even her comments. Delete her comments as well. If administrators want to uphold the Wiki policies so severely, then they also need to follow the rules and be accountable for their actions. Leadership rule-of-thumb: lead by example FIRST.

And another thing that I would like to bring to your attention: the general arrogance and haughtiness on the part of the administrators. It is a phenomenally contageous disease on all Wikis, but very prevalent here as well. Please remember that you (plural, aka "you admins") are here to make sure that the Wiki remains accurate and functional. You (again, plural) are not here to degrade, ridicule, or in any way insult the average user.

Well, that's all I wish to say for the time being. Take or leave it for what it's worth. Jrutled3 15:28, May 12, 2010 (UTC)

Well said, good sir. maggosh 15:36, May 12, 2010 (UTC)
Umm... I am actually allowed to re-open discussion provided I have a good reason to. Which I might add I did not do with that particular discussion. I merely added additional arguments to it to re-enforce the the result of the discussion. I am allowed to do that too. Tinni (Talk) 16:34, May 12, 2010 (UTC)

There was no intent to degrade or ridicule anyone. The fact that I left her comment there should suggest that I am perfectly happy with her having made it. Tinni is not an admin, but she is the leader of the Policy & Standards Committee and as such has enhanced rights on this wiki. She added something worthwhile, hence it being left there. If it was just general discussion which serves no purpose but to fill up the talk page, then I would have removed it too. Yyp (Talk) 17:15, May 12, 2010 (UTC)

No offense to Tinni and Yyp, but the Policy explicitly says:
Do not edit a closed discussion - Admins and Committee members may mark a discussion as closed with the {{Discussion Closed}} template. If you see the blue "Discussion Closed" box in a topic, then do not continue the discussion or remove the {{Discussion Closed}} template. If you wish it to be reopened, contact an admin stating clearly your reasons. It is at the discretion of the admin whether or not they reopen the discussion.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but that says, "do not continue the discussion" if you see the "Discussion Closed" box. Tinni, by your own admission you DID NOT reopen the discussion in order to add the new information, even though you had the authority to do so. This tells me: 1) personally, you do not like to be argued against and wanted your information and your information only to be added (hence, your not reopening the discussion for any and all to post if they so desired), and 2) officially, you violated the very policy of which you are the leader. Whether you like it or not - and whether the addition is beneficial or not - you violated the policy by not reopening the discussion, and the comment should therefore be removed. If you still desire it to be there, then go about it through the proper red-tape all we normal people have to put up with, by: 1) reopening the discussion and, 2) then adding it. I apologize for being so forceful with this argument, but I severely loathe double-standards and clique bias! If you uphold the standards for the few, you must uphold the standards for all (INCLUDING yourselves). Jrutled3 18:13, May 12, 2010 (UTC)
  • And quite frankly, I do not see anywhere on the Discussion Policy page where your statement, " I am allowed to do that too," has any weight ... unless you created a new policy just then. Jrutled3 18:20, May 12, 2010 (UTC)
As far as im concerned this is a non-issue based on a user not liking the fact that he can't argue a closed discussion. Tinni closed the conversation herself only adding information further proving the point that is the bases of the official stand of the sight. It was not to continue the argument or allow the reopening the argument. If you feel thats unfair (reinforcing a point so their is no doubt) then i dont know what to tell you. Your whole bases on this unfair violation argument has to do with your response getting deleted in a closed discussion. If any admin felt Tinni was at fault they would have said something and handled it accordingly that didn't happen because she had done nothing wrong she closed the discussion and she updated the point. she didn't reopen it to continue the discussion as she wasnt expecting a response. Youve made it quite clear in your arguments here that you have a problem and issue with the policies here regardless of not knowing why those policies are in place and need to be enforced. As well as Assuming to know how we enforce them or who we enforce them on. More so it seems your pissed that you cant do what you want as you are the one who tried to continue the conversation after it being closed by responding. The whole thing would have been pointless if you had contacted her talk page with your response.Salubri (Talk) 18:39, May 12, 2010 (UTC)
Salubri, in order for you to be aware and not base your own argument on assumptions: I am not "not liking the fact that [I] can't argue a closed discussion." I am perfectly fine with the final decision, and was truly happy to see Gin with blue eyes in the recent anime episode - a fact that can be attested to by you simply looking back over the history of the page in question and reading my comment. And nor do I have a problem with the policies. I do have a problem, however, with the policies not being enforced for all members, regardless of status. Nowhere on the policy page does it say even an Administrator or Committee Member can post additions to the discussion once it is closed. If you don't believe me, check it yourself. Not only did I quote a portion of it, but I even provided a link to the entire page. If the policies need to be amended (and they obviously do) in order to address the fact that Administrators and Committee Members CAN contribute further information to a closed discussion, then so be it. But for now, the policies need to be enforced as they stand. And I feel I need to reiterate the point that I am not pleading a case to continue arguing Gin's eye color. That is a closed case in my book, and I could care less. I am arguing the fact that policy is not upheld equally for all members. And you are also wrong in another point: I was not the "one" who tried to continue the discussion. There was another poster who also contributed their comments before I did mine. And concerning my issue with Admin. arrogance, you most definitely have led the pack for quite a while. I feel you must know that you have a knack for being exceedingly condescending to those with whom you disagree, and it is not appreciated at all. And if I might make a personal request: please, leave indecent language out of your comments when addressing me. That is not appreciated either. Jrutled3 19:31, May 12, 2010 (UTC)
First off if your gonna throw around arrogance and condescension maybe you should include yourself in presuming to place labels on people whom you know nothing about or what they have to deal with on this site. You must not know what corresponds to arrogance or condescending seeing as your entire argument can be considered as such. Who are you state anyone is arrogant or condescending. I have stated before I have little patience for vandalism or lack of common sense when guidelines and policies are easily accessible. I doubt apologize for that because its common amongst certain users who get on here. So dont presume to tell me what I do and dont do on the site. Im entitled to tell people when their wrong when its supported by policy or facts just as anyone is and you dont get to judge me or anyone else for making those points. This isnt philosophy where everyone has a right answer; someone sometimes will be wrong. When im wrong ill admit as much with facts supporting it. Its nothing to do with a disagreement as you dont want to admit any wrong or feel that you cant be. so whose leading the pack on being condescending and arrogant? If there is an issue with the wording of a policy or how its applied then thats one thing, but your entire argument is nothing but an attack on any form of authority. All you've accomplished here is putting yourself at odds with admin and whoever else you feel shouldn't tell you your wrong or counter your points. If this site is so horrible, no one is forcing you to stay here. Also there was nothing indecent in the conversation so id appreciate you watching your accusations in general your whole argument when addressing me. As your arrogance and self-righteousness isn't appreciated, so hows that for condescending. You get what you give. Salubri (Talk) 20:09, May 12, 2010 (UTC)

Just wants to a leave a message that I would really love to contribute something in this wiki, but it seems everything was in place and just perfect I mean you guys have been doing a great job... I love Bleach and Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood but, you can compares this two wikis, it is like heaven and earth, anyway I do know a thing or two about Naruto's wiki too but I am just not into it but comparing it with Bleach's wiki - I think Bleach has only about 1000+++ recent blog against Naruto's 2000+++...

But I still thought this wiki is above average, and saying this again you admins have done a pretty good job, TWO THUMBS UP, keep the good jobs going up!!! And have a great day!!! Soulreaper1234 03:43, May 13, 2010 (UTC)

I will likely end up going through her page and fix grammatical or poor wording choices. Other than that I will see where else my talents are due. Article Pages

Ok so I think we should be done with Ichigo's page by the end of the week, so it can be opened back up. Going over it I have some suggestions that may help the pages out. For the Major character pages (Ichigo Kurosaki, Orihime Inoue, Yasutora Sado, Uryū Ishida, Renji Abarai and Rukia Kuchiki.) we should eventually start summarizing the events and battles on their pages as that information should already be presented in detail on the fights projects. That way there isn't a redundancy of information. I also think for anime arcs that feature alot of information they should be collapsable sections, they are not tied in with the manga anyway but at the same time they aren't really gone either. Salubri (Talk) 15:01, May 18, 2010 (UTC)

Resolved - Agree with collapsible sections for anime-only arcs. Have done Ichigo's article up to start of Soul Society arc

Hollow Ichigo's Horn angle.

Why would it be deleted? I'm sure many people have noticed. :/ Hanzō 13:55, May 20, 2010 (UTC)

Urahara for Feature Article

Hey Yyp, I think you should exclude Urahara from the feature article vote. The plot section of his article is in absolutely atrocious state. I had quick look at the Agent of the Shinigami section and it made me want to cry. It's in no better shape then Isshin's was when you locked it away and fixed it. That needs to happen with Urahara's article too. I had some plans to fix the Agent of the Shinigami section before the feature article vote started but RL got in the way. Whichever way, it shouldn't be up for vote. It's just too terrible. Tinni (Talk) 12:57, May 21, 2010 (UTC)

Actually the list of candidates is not that short. Episode 269 had both Yammy and Renji. Unfortunately, Renji's article's plot section is not all that crash hot either. But Yammy's article is in top shape! It should definitely be up for vote. Not that anyone will vote for him! No one loves Yammy :( Tinni (Talk) 13:39, May 21, 2010 (UTC)

Im not sure exactly what the complaint is about its no secret that Urahara would be most likely be the winner this time around. I can't really see anything wrong with the Agent of Shinigami section seeing as for the longest time it didn't have one. His page is no way comparable to Renji or Yammy's which are in complete disarray. This seems to be an overreaction. I say let it be a candidate unless there is some specific reason to note why the agent of shinigami arc is so horrible. Salubri (Talk) 14:12, May 21, 2010 (UTC)

Both you and I have added extensively to the article. If anything it has been handled accordingly unless there is something major keeping it from being featured Ill place it up. Salubri (Talk) 23:42, May 21, 2010 (UTC)

Hey, thanks for brining Urahara's page upto scratch. It looks really nice now! Quick question, would Kira qualify to be featured? He did turn-up in chapter 404. But of course all he did was say "Captain Ichimaru" and "Matsumoto-san", but he does have a pretty good article the last time I looked. Tinni (Talk) 01:18, May 23, 2010 (UTC)

Let me know what you guys decide on Kira. Matsumoto is a no go whether she has an expanded role in the next chapter or not. She won April remember ^.^ Of course, my evil plan is to have Kira win June and so have the trifecta of Matsumoto in April, Gin in May and Kira in June! But I don't think that will happen. Tinni (Talk) 14:18, May 23, 2010 (UTC)

Article Pages

I did some work on Ichigo's page in regards to the anime only arcs and filling in some needed references. Need some more help. The Soul Society arc needs to be straightened out. The New captain filler arc needs to be straightened out. The Arrancar arc needs to be combed through. The Fake Karakura town needs to be combed through and properly referenced. There are small issues of wording that is out of universe and the use of black cero as oppose to its proper term. Mostly what we need to work on is removing to much detail from the fights or events already placed in fight pages. Currently the arc for the Agent of the Shinigami hasn't been done by the fight pages. So all the extensive work that we appreciate was done by Yyp can stay. But we will eventually have to scale it down after the information is properly set to the fight pages. The same for the Fake Karakura Town when those fight pages are handled as well. Currently the only arc not collapsable yet is the new captain filler arc. The plot section is the only thing that needs to be taken care of and then we are done. --Salubri (Talk) 23:00, May 21, 2010 (UTC)

Because when I was trying to edit and correct the sentence of the article, it got reverted, and I wasn't making any vandalisms nor any speculations. Dekoshu talk contrib 16:05, May 22, 2010 (UTC)

I wasn't talking about you though, and I see you've already taken care of it. Dekoshu talk contrib 16:08, May 22, 2010 (UTC)

Isshin and Getsuga

I come to you as I do not think Tinni is being very rational and you have always seemed to be one of the most rational people on this site. On Isshin's discussion page Tinni contends that when Isshin used Getsuga Tenshou in chapter 405 that his zanpakuto released or was released and thus believes that getsuga should be listed under shikai. I however think that it should be listed generally under the zanpakuto heading as it has never been stated that a zanpakuto cannot use or have an ability that can be used outside of a released state. My evidence for this is of course the lack of a statement directly saying this, Isshin using getsuga while his sword looked exactly the same as it was when sealed, no release command being called and the earlier example of Urahara firing a blast of energy at Aizen. The cane was pointed at the same angle as the blast and pointed at the spot where Aizen was hit leading me to believe the blast originated from the cane and was a special ability used outside of release. So I come to you. Do we list Isshin's getsuga as a shikai ability or an ability of his zanpakuto until more information is revealed?--God (Pray) 06:56, May 27, 2010 (UTC)

Resolved - both are speculative to some extent or another, so we have to go with the lesser of two evils.

Can you please delete Rukia_Kuchiki.jpg asap. In-Universe Policy

Hello. I brought this up with Salubri, but he wanted me to get you and Arrancar109's opinion on the matter:

In the Abilities section of many, if not all character articles, the term "is shown" is often used to describe instances of the character using the power being explained. I just wanted to know whether or not the use of the term is out-of-universe, since it is referring to the fact that the audience is being "shown" the power by that character in the manga/anime. Aizen being a genius

Hey Yyp,

I wanted to bring attention to a closed discussion that happened a few months back which Aizen's "intellect level" was being discussed and the ending consensus was that Aizen wasn't a genius. However last week's chapter Aizen stated that Urahara Kisuke was the only one "smarter" than him in all of soul society. Just to let you know I have taken a no tolerance stand on users that add unreferenced information onto the site articles from this point on. No one should have to run after others to make sure they did what they were supposed to do. The guidelines clearly state if its not referenced it will be removed. I don't care if the information is correct, without a reference its gone. Even if I could just as easily make a reference the point is I nor anyone else should have to. Also Tinni brought to my attention about an issue concerning changes to the spoiler policy. Im not really sure I get the point of whats going on but I said Id talk to you and Arrancar109 about it. --Salubri (Talk) 13:17, June 4, 2010 (UTC)

Petition to re-open discussions forum?

Hey, I was just thinking about closed discussions and how we don't actually have a mechanism by which to re-open it. All we really have is the ability to start new discussions on the same topic. It occurred to me that perhaps we should have some mechanism in place for people at least make a case for why a discussion should be re-opened. So I was wondering what you thought about starting forum thread in the "Improvements" forum where people can place petitions to re-open discussions. Doesn't mean we will re-open, but it does give people a place to lodge their case. Plus since it's the forums, it's out of the way etc, etc. Of course, we might want to take some topics off limits like the old and tired "Vizard" discussion. Or Viz translation vs fan translation discussion and other things like that. So what do you think? Tinni (Talk) 12:59, June 5, 2010 (UTC)

Quick question on Uryu Ishida's article

How come in the manga, Ishida loses his left hand, but in the episode, his hand is RIGHT there... SharinganContributer 21:50, June 6, 2010 (UTC)

How about opening a referencing corner?

Where editors could get help about exactly when and where something happened, or get advise about how to reference more general issues. For example, I just wrote in the Karakura Town history section that after Urahara escaped Soul Society he opened his shop in KT, but while it's a known fact, I had no idea how to reference it. I also had a problem with finding reference to my statement that the Vizards had to train to take charge of their inner Hollow and later to prolong their Hollowfication, which is a different kind of problem, deciding what make a valid reference among the 150 or so manga pages that handle the vizard training and its periphery.

And I think Aizen may use this method in Turn Back the Pendulum Series

where Ordinary soul cannot contain the prototype / strange death in Rukongai / the soul disappear. What do you think?Soulreaper1234 10:15, June 8, 2010 (UTC)

Is not he talks about Hollowfication here on how he had them done (End of Hypnosis7 page11) and (Turn Back the Pendulum5 page2). In EoH7 Aizen said using Hollow (what hollow he use that can fuse with a Shinigami) in TBP he said prototype (what prototypes or things or materials). So indirectly Process2 (Unknown) and Process3 (Hogyoku) could be related. Where first he maybe creates a Hollow for the purpose fused with the Shinigami (Shinji and the others) and by accident or coincidence that he may have predicted Urahara may have possessed a substance that could strengthen situation in Process2. I just thought this is the closest Process2 had been explained by Aizen (Kubo). Hope you will comments on this, thanks.Soulreaper1234 11:10, June 8, 2010 (UTC)

Ah... you might want to be careful when asking for Dr. Ishida. You may end up getting Dr. Shameless. >.> That was the first entry when I typed in Dr. Ishida. Although, there was a "Dr. Warren Ishida, MD, Neurosurgery" further down the list and a "Dr. Manabu Ishida" - who seems to be a PhD doctor, as opposed to a medical doctor. There was also a Dr. Clyde Ishida, a dental doctor of some kind. So who knows! You might find Dr. Ishida when you visit Quincy Hospital (just make sure he isn't a pervert). ^.^ Tinni (Talk) 05:43, June 11, 2010 (UTC)

Resolved - thanks.

Since your an administrator I was wondering if you could help me...You see i was watching some bleach omake's and I noticed that in the ones where they're taking photos that an x appeared over Toshiro's face even though no one got a photo of him, do you think that could be used as a trivia fact? —This unsigned comment is by Espada expert (talkcontribs) . Resolved - was pointed out by another user that this is not correct. On top of that it would be Junk trivia

I was wondering how to put the links of specific words in a template when editing an episode page? For example: using a scroll box for 'characters in order of appearance' and for 'powers and techniques used' a translation template. Themimers 23:32, June 12, 2010 (UTC)themimers

Resolved - Question answered.

blogs and Forums

Basic case here. We have touched on this a little a long time ago and nothing ever came of it. Quite frankly I cant remember where the conversation was even held. But I believe that for the foreseeable future any blog or forum exclusively about killing someone (i.e. who should die type things) off either good or bad isn't exceptable these are largely based on personal preference have nothing to logically do with making the story any good. Last I checked Kubo writes the stuff. People are entitled to their own opinion but if he wants to kill off all the bad guys as is the usual formula for a story and if he so chooses to keep every single good guy thats his choose. We can express the issue which is fine but listing characters aren't productive. Any such pages or sections should be deleted or put up for deletion and an admin made aware. It starts to border on disrespect of the work. We may not agree with a decision and can voice that concern but we shouldn't make it personal cause you can't connect with the character. I mean at some point we all known Gin and Aizen will go because of the role they are playing. Ive been seeing various instances of blogs or forums calling for the death of good guys for just the personal preference of killing them off.--Salubri (Talk) 17:09, June 14, 2010 (UTC)

Resolved - borders on character bashing.

Not receiving any e-mail notifications for watched pages, announcements, etc.

Okay, so I've been away for a couple months while dealing with a sudden surge of Real-Life academic obligations. But then over that period of time, I've noticed that I suddenly no longer recieved any e-mail notifications regarding my watchlist and other stuff. I finally got around to checking the site today, and hooo boy... My watched pages have been edited countless times over the past few weeks, and I wasn't notified at all! Is there a glitch in the system? MarqFJA 23:27, June 14, 2010 (UTC)

It's not the weekly digest (I assume you mean the one that gives a week-by-week summary of edits to watched pages, which I have had turned off for over 5 months) that I have a problem with. Normally, I'd be notified of new edits almost as soon as they are made, excluding the minor ones. I think I'll following your suggestion, in any case. MarqFJA 16:06, June 15, 2010 (UTC)

I need a name for the agent of the shinigami arc on the fights project and im running a blink here. --Salubri (Talk) 00:01, June 15, 2010 (UTC)

Resolved - Tinni suggested some titles and one was selected.

What translation "' should we follow when we post a quote we find interesting and right to the point ?

I just saw your "post about Aizen : Laws of Nature , provided by Cnet . I was really p****d off , by this . I mean , on Mangastream it says CLEARLY : Reason is ..... ; on Onemanga it says " Truth is ... " . What is the '"correct'" translation website , according to the Admins or according to you ? Cause I know , not completely sure, that Tinni said something according to these lines that we should use for quotes the website that offers quicker the translation of the newest chapter"' . And YOU + the other Admins should instate that " for quotes , you should use that speccific Website for quotes or use the website that gets out the chapter quicker , when adding quotes to the featured quote page on Bleach wiki " . And stick to that rule , and not ONLY us the other participants in the building of this wiki , but YOU ( THE ADMINS) also . If there seems not be such a trouble for the admins, to do so .

And, a minimal request of respect for those who bear the humble title of participants in the building of this wiki ( that means not the admins ) which is if the ADMINS change a quote or something else a simple user added to the wiki , the Admin who did the change should say to that user : hey , ***** *****` user, I changed this , coz you put up a crappy quote or I don`t know , not just change it , cause ME the admin feels like I wanted to do so . Or maybe because that user , beat me to the great quote I, myself ( the admin) wanted to put it up . Cause I kept an eye on that quote to see if someone would change it for a couple of days , and guess what ? Someone did , because he "felt" like it was his responsibility to do so .

And I don`t know what the problem is with the thing that I posted twice quotes on the featured quote page and the first quote got deleted because it was ambiguous

and the reason for the change in the second quote is...... ? You tell me . ( AND I AM NOT JEERING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) I JUST WANT TO KNOW WHY YOU CHANGED THE QUOTE , WHICH I TOOK FROM Mangastream

And also , not to add - twice when I voted for a featured pic , my votes were deleted twice -- because they were ""called" ambiguous. But an another user which had expressed in the same manner his taste for that pic , his reason for choosing that pic was kept .

Besides , sorry for the long summary which I posted in the anime box on the front page of the wiki , but then my computer went beserk , and mostly did what he wanted .I had intended to put it on the episode summary in the episode list , but my comp went beserk . —This unsigned comment is by Amagai88 (talkcontribs) 16:33, 15 June 2010.
