Episode 366

This is my first blog post, and I'm still not a very experienced editor and I can tell that some (or most) of the time I have no idea how to do things. I know a lot of others, and you probably know who they are already, have talked and reviewed about the final episode. But I liked this episode very much, and a lot of people probably did as well, so i just could not help but write one. I'm not devastated the anime ended, and I also assume that the anime will start up again in the future. Everybody was probably bored with with the scenes with Tsukishima in it, but I was actually glad about a part they cut out in the scene before he Shishigawara appears. One thing I don't like in what happened in the manga was that Tsukishima screamed after thinking about ginjo being dead. Tsukishima was depicted as a calm person, a person who stays calm at all times. Because this is what I prefer, this part being cut was satisfying for me. The other way how a character's personality changes to a way you would not expect, such as Riruka's, was good. I think the way everyone thought about her in the beginning, was that she was a selfish girl who would do stuff only for herself, be sour to others, and even use her power to lock the thing she only wanted away. But in this episode, she showed a much softer side, and even began to cry. Although Riruka does not show it, I can tell that she thinks of Xcution as her family. The part where Ichigo came to Soul Society was probably average to most people, but it became more interesting after the captains came into the scenes. After the captain commander accepted Ichigo's request, and after Ichigo said that he would continue as a subsistute shinigami, the captains smiling apon hearing his words was a great idea, but Rukia shedding tears in that scene was too out of her character, but the rest was well done. The highlight of the episode for many fans is most likely the ending. The few things that the animators got wrong was that when Hiyori was talking to Shinji on the phone, she was obviously using a payphone from the human world, which in no way whatsoever, could contact soul society. The other thing is, but not as Lemursrule has suggested, the grave that Hisagi and Komamura were visiting was Tōsen's dead friend, not Tōsen himself. During the White Invasion, Tōsen was defeated by Hisagi and went out of ressureccion mode. After that, he lay motionless on the ground, but was soon blown to bits by aizen himself, as seen in Chapter 387: Ignited. Therefore there was nothing left to take back and bury. Still, tosen's friend has also had a zanpakutō, but it should of still died along with her. This was a mistake seen in both the anime and manga.

Overall, I think the animators did a fine job with the last episode, and I'm happy with what I saw on Tuesday, and no fans should break into uncontrollable sobbing. The new and last arc, the thousand year blood war arc, has given bleach a new( and pretty big) surge in popularity for that past few weeks and the fans are paying more attention to the manga, and I can tell that tite is now actually using the creativity and potential in the new arc, while he did not use it in the yawn factory called the Xcution arc. Sure, the characters were diverse and old ones came back, but it did not help very much with it's popularity.

Finally, I've browsed a lot through different sites, with all sorts of people posting garbage, about bleach coming back after a short break. If those people are trying to get others to believe things, do your own research first. And then, there are people saying that at the end of the episode, Ichigo said: "see you again" or something close to that phrase. This makes people think a new episode will air soon. You don't know if it's true or not, so keep it to yourself.

I might review something else soon, like the new chapter that comes out every week, but that depends.
