The 2nd Division Sorties! Ichigo is Surrounded is the one-hundred eighty-first episode of the Bleach anime.

Ichigo Kurosaki and Rukia Kuchiki try to stop Rurichiyo Kasumiōji's wedding, but they end up getting attacked by the Gotei 13 in the process.

Summary

At Rurichiyo's wedding, Ichigo and company have interrupted the celebrations. But as Ichigo calls to Rurichiyo, the Second Division appears and Captain Suì-Fēng holds Ichigo at blade-point, not knowing what's going on. As a fight breaks out when Rurichiyo denies knowing Ichigo, Enryū uses his Shikai to destroy the building, and in the confusion, Ichigo reaches Rurichiyo. Revealing Kumoi's intention to gain control of the clan through Rurichiyo's fiancé, Shū Kannogi, Ichigo is attacked by Rurichiyo, who is revealed as an imposter. Suì-Fēng begins to fight Ichigo, allowing Rurichiyo and Gyōkaku Kumoi to escape. Kenryū and Enryū are captured by the second division members, however, Ichigo and Rukia manage to escape with Shū's help. The three decide to escape by having Shū pose as a hostage. In response, Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto orders a manhunt for Ichigo and Rukia and assigns Shūsuke Amagai and Suì-Fēng to capture them. When Suì-Fēng voices doubts concerning Kumoi's intentions to Yamamoto, he merely agrees to take them under consideration. Elsewhere, Izuru Kira voices his suspicions on Kibune's recent actions and relations to the Kasumiōji Clan to Amagai, who reacts with skepticism at first, but also agrees with Kira as to the fact that there is something fishy going on and asks Kira to observe Kibune.

Shinigami Illustrated Picture Book

Tetsuzaemon Iba is seen thinking deeply inside the Shinigami Men's Association toilet once more, and is approached by Jūshirō Ukitake, who asks what is wrong. Iba tells him that he was thinking of sending a great Shinigami to try and stop the women's organization from belittling their actions. Ukitake says that he will ask someone, and hands a pair of glasses to Byakuya Kuchiki, who refuses outright.
