The Tapeworm Hollow is a Hollow that has displayed a mesterious power; attacking Humans instead of an ordinary plus.
Appearance
The Tapeworm Hollow has a skeletal-like body, with two limbs; resembling somewhat of a skeletal worm. It's mask resembles a skull, and has a row of grining teeth beneath the eyes. The Hollow happens to have a face on the other side of it's head, something most Hollows don't have. The face appears to have red eyes that pop out, both have a spiral pattern inside, and an opening that worm-like creatures come out of.
When he first appeared in the Episode, The Tapeworm Hollow possessed a tall man with blue hair. The man's hair is somewhat curled, and combed to the side. He has blue eyes and wears red bead like earings. The man also wore a white coat, and had the colar folded to the sides. Along with his elegant coat, he wore elegant white pants.[1]
Personality
The Tapeworm Hollow showed great signs of hunger. Unlike ordinary Hollows, the Tapeworm Hollow can posses it's target and suck out it's nutrients. As stated by Rukia, it had already done so six times in Karakura Town, though in seperate locations. Like any Hollow, the Tapeworm Hollow had shown signs of insanity when it came to hunger.
When he first appeared, after overhearing Haruko talking to herself about dying, he didn't hesitate in his attempt to kill her, which was presumably a sign of hunger for spiritual power. In his battle with Kon, he nearly ate the Mod Soul Candy which was Kon himself.[2]
Plot
When Haruko starts talking to herself about the wanting of death, the Tapeworm Hollow over hears everything, including the fact the she wanted to die. A tall man with blue hair appears before Haruko, and claims that he can grant her the wish of death. Haruko began to feel Hollow reiatsu, as the man's body was simply a host for the Hollow to feed on. When disposed of, a Tapeworm-like Hollow appears before Haruko, trying to posses her. Kon was able to temporarily fend off the Hollow, allowing it to find Ken, Haruko's husband.

Ken being used as a host for the Hollow, finds Haruko, and manages to kiss her. Upon kissing, the Hollow was able to penetrate Haruko's body. A strange reiatsu was released, causing Kon to react. Kon rushes to Haruko's rescue, and begins fighting the Hollow; in otherwords, Haruko's body. Many strange attacks were inflicted on Kon, such as the Hollow's ability to extend it's claws and arms. Kon was able to remove the Hollow from within Haruko, though it only resulted in Kon's Soul Candy (kon himself) to be regurjitated out of Ichigo's body. The Hollow discovers that Kon was basically a Mod Soul, and approaches to eat him. Ichigo was able to make a timely rescue, and purify The Hollow with a Getsuga Tenshō. [3]
Powers and Abilities
Enhanced Agility: In it's battle with Kon, it was able to backflip multiple times after being kicked by Kon; this performance was done through Haruko's body.[4]

Extandable Arms: The Hollow has also shown the ability to extend it's arms in order to grab its opponents, saving the trouble of having to walk up to them.[7]
- Enhanced Strength: While possessing Haruko's body, the Hollow has shown considerable strength; being able to effortlessly lift Kon off the ground.[8]
