Shime no Dan: Itokiribasami Chizome no Nodobue (〆の段 糸切鋏血染喉, Final Act: Thread-Cutting Scissors upon a Blood-Streaked Throat; Viz "Final Act: Thread Cut Blood-Soaked Throat") is a technique of Shunsui Kyōraku's Bankai, Katen Kyōkotsu: Karamatsu Shinjū.
Description[]
While Sandanme: Dangyo no Fuchi is active, Shunsui sheathes his swords and winds a white thread around his opponent's throat multiple times before pulling it taut, creating a large gash that expands and explodes, effectively destroying the opponent's head in the process.[1]

"Few things are as cruel as a woman's mercy. She has no ears for her lover's desperate pleas. At his precious throat, she spies glistening white threads, damp with regret. Thus, she resolves to sever with her own hands those threads of regret that pitifully entwine him."[2]
