Shemihaza (シェミハーザ, Shemihāza) is a Hollow and the chief of the Hollow band under the orders of Bansui Amatsuki. He naturally has fighting power far beyond the reach of ordinary Hollows and is even more strengthened thanks to equipment given by Bansui.[1]
Appearance[]
Shemihaza looks like a demon with two large horns, claws, a beak and grey skin. he has a red Mohawk and a flame-colored cape.[1]
Plot[]
Shemihaza is the henchman of Bansui Amatsuki.
Shemihaza first meet Ichigo Kurosaki, Rukia Kuchiki, Yoruichi Shihōin and Kisuke Urahara in the Dangai. They witness him changing Souls into Hollows. He then leaves through a gate.
When Ichigo Kurosaki, Rukia Kuchiki, Orihime Inoue, Yasutora Sado and Uryū Ishida are investigating in the Rukongai, they witness Shemihaza changing souls into Hollows again. They decides to follow him discretely so he can lead them to the portal connecting to the Hueco Mundo, but it was actually a trap set by Shemihaza and they get ambushed by Hollows in front of the gate.
He later reopen the gate, and this time Ichigo Kurosaki, Rukia Kuchiki, Orihime Inoue, Yasutora Sado and Uryū Ishida are able to enter in the Hueco Mundo. He is waiting for them in front of the portal and wants to fight them, but Suzuki throw a flash bomb. Because of that, he wrongfully thinks he killed everybody and leaves.
Later, he ambushes them again. Uryū Ishida throw an arrow at him but he dodges it and the arrow ends up destroying a rock pillar behind him. Everyone is buried under fragments of the pillar and Shemihaza is able to kinap everyone but Ichigo, left under the rocks. The latter being rescued by Kon and Hanatarō Yamada later.
Under the orders of Bansui, Shemihaza plans to executate Rukia Orihime Sado and Uryū thanks to a special machine that will turn their power into weapons. When he is about to execute them, he notices Ichigo Kurosaki and Byakuya Kuchiki spying on him. He tries to attack them with its “special bomb” but Suzuki appears and uses his body as a shield to protect them and is left dying. He then fights against Ichigo and Byakuya, holding really strong thanks to his equipment. But at one point, Suzuki stands up and attack him shattering his equipment. Shemihaza responds with a blow that will ultimately kill Suzuki. After this incident, Shemihaza finally looses to Ichigo and Byakuya and dies.[1]
Powers and Abilities[]
The bomb exploding
- Breath : Higanbana's breath release mist-like particles that have the power to change Souls into Hollows. Some of these hollows can keep their consciousness despite loosing their memory.
- Special bomb : Shemihaza throw a bobmb looking like a little black sphere, and it creates a giant explosion.[1]
- Claws : Shemihaza jumps on his opponent, hitting him with both hands.[1]

- Black mist: Shemihaza load energy and throw a black mist at the enemy.[1]
