English releases

The Region 1 DVD compilations of the Bleach anime are released by Viz Media. In 2009, Viz Media partnered with Warner Home Video in distributing US home video releases of Bleach. [1] From 2006 until 2010, 32 single disc DVD compilations were released in the United States. The single disc compilations were discontinued after volume 32, and the series is currently only released in half-season boxsets. A DVD collection box of the first season was released on June 10, 2008, a DVD collection box of the second season was released on August 19, 2008, and a DVD collection box of the third season was released on July 7, 2009. Seasons 4 on have only been released in half-season box sets in the United States. The series has been released in the UK by Manga Entertainment in half-season sets, then re-released into season sets.
