Cien Granz (シエン・グランツ, Shien Gurantsu) is an Arrancar and a clone of the Octava (8th) Espada, Szayelaporro Granz, made before the latter excised Yylfordt Granz from himself. He initially holds the rank of Arrancar Cien (100), but becomes the Cero (0) Espada after regaining his full power.

As a clone of Szayelaporro Granz, Cien Granz is stated to look almost identical to his template. A small but notable difference is a tattoo of the number 100 on Cien's left eyeball. During his fight with Kenpachi Zaraki, parts of his hair turned blonde, due to the influence of Yylfort.

Personality

While Cien Granz shares many personality traits with his template, Szayelaporro, and is noted to be just as insane as the original, there are still several differences. Most notably, Cien is shown to be far more bloodthirsty and less scientifically-oriented than Szayelaporro, even showing disdain towards some of Szayelaporro's more unconventional powers, disparagingly calling them "magic tricks". This differing personality is primarily due to Cien being a copy from before Szayelaporro excised his more violent urges in the form of Yylfordt Granz, as well as due to him missing some of Szayelaporro's later memories.

Powers & Abilities

Immense Spiritual Power: As a clone of Szayelaporro Granz' original Vasto Lorde form, Cien possesses an immense amount of Reiryoku. Mayuri Kurotsuchi measures Cien's Reiatsu as potentially being even greater than Yammy Llargo's released form. In his released form, after regaining his full power, Cien's Reiryoku is of such a degree that he could fight on even footing with Kenpachi Zaraki, even forcing the Shinigami to take off his eyepatch.

Hierro:

Descorrer (解空 (デスコレール), Desukorēru; Spanish for "Drawing Back/Opening", Japanese for "Loosed Void"): A technique used by Arrancar, and sometimes others, to open a Garganta between the Human World and Hueco Mundo. Cien used one to forcibly transport himself and Kenpachi Zaraki to the Dangai.

Cero: Cien's Cero is powerful enough that the Pícaro confuse it for Gran Rey Cero, even when Cien has not yet activated his Resurrección.

Zanpakutō

Fornicarás (邪淫妃 (フォルニカラス), Forunikarasu; Spanish for "You Will Fornicate", Japanese for "Lewd Concubine"): When sealed, Fornicarás takes the form of a seemingly ordinary katana.

• Resurrección: Its release command is Sip (啜れ, Susure). Like Szayelaporro Granz, Cien releases his Zanpakutō by calling out its command and then swallowing the blade. In his released form, Cien gains two large wings on his back with four eyes on each of them, while his lower body becomes a mass of dozens of large tentacles.

Resurrección Special Ability: Cien's released state grants him a number of different abilities almost identical to those of Szayelaporro.

• Carbon-Copy: Similar to Szayelaporro's ability, this technique allows Cien to create almost-identical clones of his opponents, though Cien's clones are vastly inferior in power to their template, as Kenpachi Zaraki effortlessly slaughtered dozens of them.

• Teatro de Titere (人形芝居 (テアトロ・デ・ティテレ), Teatoro de Titere; Japanese and Spanish for "Puppet Theater"): Similar to Szayelaporro's ability, this technique allows Cien to create a small voodoo like doll that has the victim's likeness. Any damage done to the doll's internal organs, should done to the original, debilitating them from the inside. However, this technique proved to be completely ineffective against Kenpachi Zaraki, prompting Cien to discard the doll and stop relying on Szayelaporro's "magic tricks".

• Enhanced Cero: Cien is able to fire very powerful Cero from any of his tentacles.

• Enhanced Hierro: In his released state, Cien's Hierro becomes strong enough to negate any strikes from Kenpachi Zaraki's sealed sword, although the Shinigami still had his eyepatch on.
