I might have misread or misunderstood something, but I feel like the concept for attaining bankai feels… underwhelming. (This article may contain spoilers so read at your own risk)
We have here it says “it takes about 10 years to achieve bankai, plus the experience needed to master it”, but if it’s only 10 years, considering how long even the weakest Shinigami can theoretically live up to, then it feels all too again, underwhelming. It’s a powerful phenomenon reserved for only the strongest who have their names engraved in history, but if all it takes to achieve it is just a decade of harsh training, what’s that for a being that can live for centuries? I know mastering it is another thing, but it feels all too simple. Are there actually any other conditions explicitly stated if a Shinigami is capable of bankai? Or is it that all of them are technically capable of achieving bankai if they are willing to put in the work under the right mentor?

So, you may know that when it comes to the Quincy race, they have a multitude of spiritual energy weapons. And I’m just asking which Spirit Weapon of the Quincies happens to be your favorite?
I’m just curious on which signature ability of the Sternritter happens to be your favorites. Mine is V - The Visionary. It’s so awesome to look at, you can manifest any imagination into a reality, and the power could potentially be limitless.
"No Zanpakutō in existence has a Shikai and a Bankai which use unrelated abilities."
What about Urahara's case? Benihime's base form basically ejects/discharges reiatsu from his blade.
But, Kannonbiraki Benihime Aratame allows him to reconstruct wounds, etc
So is Urahara an exception? Or, is this not a true fact?
