New Movie Article Format[]

For now on, all movie articles will be using the format The Shining Star used on Hell Chapter. Here is the link for reference. Bleach: Hell Chapter

Information for Music in Episodes?[]

Would there be any interest in having the songs appearing in each episode listed on the episode's page? I could do so myself, as I have access to all 9 soundtracks (4 anime + 4 movie + 5th anniversary bonus). These don't contain quite all the themes, especially in the later episodes, but they're as complete as we can get (unless of course we get Shiro Sagisu to tell us all the track names).

I know that's a pretty massive undertaking, but I could easily do around 10 a week, as I intend to watch through all the anime again soon anyway.

I've seen quite often across various Bleach discussion boards "What is the song in episode … where … is fighting …" For the sake of being an encyclopedic reference, that would be useful to people looking for that information.

If so, what format should I use for the list? I would assume to style it similarly to the character list already on each episode page.

Thanks, KawaTsuyo Message 09:53, February 25, 2013 (UTC)

For example, episode 262:

  • 0:21–0:57 Battle for Justice
  • 1:06–2:21 Orihime's Line
  • 3:18–3:26 Mysterious
  • 4:45–5:23 Peaceful Afternoon
  • 5:33–6:01 Suite "Will of the Heart" 1st Movement: Cello & Orchestra
  • 6:24–7:02 Suite "Going Home" 2nd Movement: Piano Solo
  • 8:14–8:29 unreleased comedic guitar/flute theme
  • 9:55–10:22 unreleased comedic percussion/strings theme
  • 10:27–10:36 unreleased dramatic koto theme
  • 11:36–13:13 Recollection III
  • 15:08–16:02 Feudal Society
  • 16:08–17:20 Fade To Black_B07a
  • 17:36–19:51 unreleased emotional strings theme

Sorry it has taken so long to get back to you, again I apologize. I think thats a great idea, but it will be a lot of work. I know this will be useful, because I have been asked numerous times on which tracks play during key episode moments. My suggestion would for it to be formatted like this:

Music[]

For the music featured in this episode please go to the Soundtrack page.

Which would link to a page like this:

[[1]]

It could be further formatted through seasons with hidden tabs.

If you are still interested, please leave a message on my talk page. --LemursYou are about to enter the Twlight Zone  21:13,2/27/2013  21:13, February 27, 2013 (UTC)

I somewhat like the idea of listing the entire soundtrack somewhere even if it's like hidden on the Episode page!! A very common question over on Answers is "What song was playing when Ichigo showed up here" and a lot of the time the answers are redirected to a page that says something along the lines of "We don't have details of all the soundtracks throughout an Episode" as yes it is very difficult to obtain accurate and referenced information!! I like this idea!! SunXia (Chat) 21:16,2/27/2013

I'll throw my support behind this too. I've seen questions on this topic often here, on answers and on various forums. A format needs to be fleshed out and agreed though before anyone starts adding to articles. It is likely a lot of work though, so hopefully there will be enough volunteers for it. ~~Ууp <talk> 22:26, February 27, 2013 (UTC)

I am setting up a sandbox for myself, I will try to make a mock format and perhaps we can start on there and make a template or something.--LemursYou are about to enter the Twlight Zone  00:50,2/28/2013  00:50, February 28, 2013 (UTC)

Here's a rough draft of what we could do. [[2]] I figure we could add hidden tabs for each season, and link to the soundtrack page from each episode page sort of like how AHS has it set up. --LemursYou are about to enter the Twlight Zone  01:30,2/28/2013  01:30, February 28, 2013 (UTC)

Thanks! And no worries about getting back, I know how that can be. I do like the idea of having a tab for each episode. If we do that, afterwards it would be easy to list the major appearances of a given song on a page for each song.

Also, we'd have to figure out how to standardize naming for unreleased tracks, like many of the short 10-30 second jingles, the song that plays at Starrk's death and Aizen's defeat, and the one that plays at the ends of 262 and 366. The jingles could just be excluded (I just put them in the example for the sake of completeness), but we should include actual songs like those two.

I think there are a lot of good ideas here, and I look forward to it! KawaTsuyo Message 02:27, February 28, 2013 (UTC)

We'll figure something out.--LemursYou are about to enter the Twlight Zone  02:30,2/28/2013  02:30, February 28, 2013 (UTC)

Well, time has flown… If no one minds, I'm going to start working on pages for each soundtrack release and each song. After those are complete, we can make linked lists for each episode. After all the episodes, we can go back and cross-reference, noting the appearances of each song. It is a pretty big undertaking, but I'm willing to take the helm for it. If you have any suggestions or concerns, feel free to let me know. KawaTsuyo (Talk) 20:56, September 4, 2013 (UTC)

Bleach 4 Koma series complete time for article[]

Hey now that the Bleach spin-off series is complete, its time an article is made. I will be picking up the second volume on Wednesday, and I will scan each page of each volume for adam to translate, so that summaries can be made. If anyone wishes to help contribute, let me know. --LemursYou are about to enter the Twlight Zone  18:34,7/25/2013  18:34, July 25, 2013 (UTC)

I'm willing to help, just not sure how.--Xilinoc (talk) 22:58, July 25, 2013 (UTC)

I am going to start scanning the pages of the first volume today and hopefully I can get that all up here in the next few days. --LemursYou are about to enter the Twlight Zone  15:50,8/5/2013  15:50, August 5, 2013 (UTC)

Huge Completion[]

Leamurs did you see Xilly's birthday present!! He's done all the movies, brilliantly!! SunXia (Chat) 19:46,8/5/2013

I saw that :) I have been meaning to mark them.--LemursYou are about to enter the Twlight Zone  20:30,8/5/2013  20:30, August 5, 2013 (UTC)

Shonen games[]

So it seems someone made an article on J-Stars Victory Vs a couple months ago. Being a new game with Bleach ties to it, this makes sense. However, it makes me think there should probably be articles on Jump Ultimate Stars and Jump Super Stars as well, as they also both include Bleach characters (I think it's all the same series, but I'm not sure). Would there be any objections to making said articles? KenjiSchiffyTalk to meView my work19:24,8/7/2013 UTC

I think that would be a good idea. Had I noticed that we didn't have pages for those, I would have made some. But I'll leave it in your capable hands. KawaTsuyo (Talk) 20:56, September 4, 2013 (UTC)

A solution[]

I have been trying to figure out for the last few months how to handle all the characters and their appearances in video games other than SR. Taking images from every game, model, and level would be way too time consuming and frankly for some of the smaller games would be next to impossible to collect all that data. So I figured we can have an "all-stars" like gallery with character roster and have info on the gameplay and just streamline things a bit. What do you guys think?--LemursYou are about to enter the Twlight Zone  20:21,1/6/2014  20:21, January 6, 2014 (UTC)

Sounds good to me.--Xilinoc (talk) 20:33, January 6, 2014 (UTC)

Alrighty then! I'll start on a prototype for Heat the Soul because (A) Images are easy to find and the roster is small and more importantly (B) Sony literally uses the same model every game so in later entries this will become handy.--LemursYou are about to enter the Twlight Zone  20:38,1/6/2014  20:38, January 6, 2014 (UTC)

Speaking of SR, actually, are there any plans to use the myriad of SR images we have on the wiki? I've seen a lot of them by now, but never on any pages.--Xilinoc (talk) 21:41, January 6, 2014 (UTC)

Yes actually, my lazy ass is finally doing it tonight.LemursYou are about to enter the Twlight Zone  23:30,1/6/2014  23:30, January 6, 2014 (UTC)
