Picture Change Guidelines

As per the Image Policy, nominate and discuss changes to the profile pictures of the character articles here and only here. The typical requirements for a profile picture are that it shows the character facing forward, in their typical attire and should not be battle-worn. They should be centered, have good lighting, and be of good quality. Candidates also must have valid and complete {{fair use}} and {{fair use rationale}} templates attached to them or else they will be rejected.

Only one "Support" vote per user. Votes will be open only for a week of the initial pic being placed. At the end of the week the highest rated pic will win. If no pick is a clear winner, than an admin with pick the pic. If another pic is brought up after the picture is picked then the voting begins again with the pic that has already been picked and the new pic or pics.

Okay, so the last time I tried this, it didn't go over so well due to the proposal not having the best lighting, and in hindsight I agree with the decision to not change it - but I think I've finally found a winner. Not only do we have Byakuya completely from the front in natural lighting here, we can also see his entire head. The only downside I can think of is that part of his neck is in shadow due tothe light source, but personally that doesn't matter much to me.--Xilinoc ^(talk) 11:56, April 20, 2019 (UTC)

Yumichika Ayasegawa

The original picture is of great quality, but it's a little weird being so zoomed out to include his upper torso and having him looking away/kinda sad. I found an alternative one episode over focused entirely on his face and with a slightly better expression, in addition to being brighter.--Xilinoc ^(talk) 23:00, April 21, 2019 (UTC)

Shūkurō Tsukishima

Tsukishima's profile image has always stood out to me as a placeholder that we kinda just forgot to replace - it's at a considerable angle, is set during dusk, and most of all is drawn kinda...flat (note the complete lack of depth around his mouth/neck area and his weird face proportions). He only appeared once during the daytime that I can think of, but I found something good during that part - here, while there's still an angle, it's not as bad, his face looks more on-model, and the man finally has a CHIN. Also, you can see a bit more of his head. Seems an easy choice to me.--Xilinoc ^(talk) 15:23, April 25, 2019 (UTC)

Shūhei Hisagi

Proposal

Hisagi's current profile image has served us well for a while, but it cuts off a lot of his hair and gives him a sharp face - time for something better. My proposal is from the mini-chapter set between invasions in the Quincy Blood War, so it could function as a post-timeskip image if we really want to keep the FKT pic, but regardless it's completely frontal, shows his entire head, and is drawn properly/in Kubo's later style.--Xilinoc ^(talk) 23:46, May 7, 2019 (UTC)
