Tōshirō Hitsugaya vs. Shawlong Koufang[]

I'm not a fan of how the current image for this fight randomly has Rangiku in the background despite her not participating in it and how Hitsugaya and Shawlong are kinda off to the side, so I found a suitable replacement that focuses on them and is of higher quality, both in terms of the px and in the art of the scene itself.--Xilinoc (talk) 04:56, September 1, 2014 (UTC)

Ichigo Kurosaki vs. Ulquiorra Cifer: Final Fight[]

I'm not a huge fan of the current image for this fight, since it's primarily Ichigo and Ulquiorra moving toward each other instead of actually fighting. Additionally, most of the battle involves them in powered up forms, e.g. Segunda Etapa and White 2.0 Ichigo's fully Hollowfied form, so I decided that an image showing them clashing while in their fully powered-up forms would be appropriate for this battle. However, since the only decent frame of them doing so is part of a filler extension (goshdarnittoheck Pierrot), I've also included a second proposal uploaded by Sun many moons ago that shows them clashing in their base forms and which is nice and focused, although I personally prefer my proposal because it differentiates this battle from Ichigo Kurosaki vs. Ulquiorra Cifer.--Xilinoc (talk) 22:56, September 15, 2014 (UTC)

The current main image for this battle isn't very good. It's focused primarily on their heads and faces, and doesn't actually show any combat, or even any other parts of their bodies. Rukia Kuchiki vs. Sode no Shirayuki[]

Currently, the main image for this battle consists of Rukia and Sode no Shirayuki...staring at each other. That's really about it. Because of this, I've posted an alternative that shows them actually fighting and stuff, as well as more of their bodies. I think the picture from chapter 599 would fit better than this current one, in which he doesn't have his pronounced cheekbones and the shape/proportions of his face and hair seems a little off. Granted the proposed picture it not a full shot of his entire head but still i think its better, plus pages like Driscoll's or Gremmy's don't have the full shots of their heads, but mostly the face, yet those fit well. --Cross of Scaffold (talk) 19:00, October 18, 2014 (UTC)

Askin's current image is fine. It's from the front, it shows basically all of his head (including his hair), and he's looking at the camera. The proposal has the top of his head cut off and shows him from an angle. The proposal has him facing forward, more so than the current image, in which he is looking upward. Both images are from different angles, but it is considerably more noticeable in the current one. I think it is also worth noting that the proposal is considerably more detailed, as the current image does a rather poor job of depicting his facial structure, particularly his distinct lips, chin, and cheekbones. Gin's current profile image has a couple issues, jpg format notwithstanding: it's at an angle and a good chunk of his hair/head is out of view. Ichigo Kurosaki (Post-Timeskip)[]

From what I've gathered by reading past discussions about Ichigo's profile images, it's best to show him in his most common form - his Shinigami form - which means using a shot of him in Shikai/Bankai. Now, the current image has nothing wrong with it quality, angle, or dimensions-wise; this is a matter of updating. Ichigo's gained a new, and likely permanent, Shinigami uniform in this final arc, and it's very noticeably different from his previous uniform, or most Shinigami uniforms in general, because of its scaled shoulder plate and crisscrossing white bands. Since this is what he's gonna be wearing from here on out, and has been wearing for a good chunk of the arc proper, I'd say that's what we should show him in for his post-timeskip image - he's not going back to the old one. We've even got a color image of the thing, which is a rare blessing in manga.--Xilinoc (talk) 23:29, May 30, 2015 (UTC)

While the current image for Gerard is pretty detailed, it doesn't show much beyond his helmet, face, and neck. Okay, I'm aware this is a bit of a touchy subject and has been rejected a couple times before, but hear me out on this one. Askin's current profile image has sufficed for the 105 chapters since his first appearance, but it is lacking in a couple areas: it doesn't show all of his head (cuts off his hair at the top), his cheekbones aren't visible like in every other shot of him, and you don't get much beyond his head - and none of the suggested alternatives have remedied all of those. However, this week's chapter provided a shot of him that's zoomed out a bit so you can see both his entire head and the upper part of his chest, on top of having the trademark cheekbones. The only drawback that I can think of is that his head is slightly tilted, but honestly I don't think most people care as long as they can see everything else clearly.--Xilinoc (talk) 06:18, October 23, 2015 (UTC)

The only downside I think would be the other two female Sternritter in the background, though I don't believe they detract from its quality. Yūshirō Shihōin[]

It's about time that we changed Yūshirō's main image now that he's had some more time in the spotlight. While his current profile image worked for the time being, it's too close to his face to show the rest of his head, and he's pouting and crying - which isn't really his usual expression. It's kind of weird that the Vollstandig profile image isn't even a real Vollstandig, and it's also very low quality. I'd like to propose Quilge's Vollstandig to replace it, since it's a standard Vollstandig, you can easily see it, and there are no speech bubbles obstructing it.

Sōsuke Aizen[]

The proposed image, which is Sōsuke Aizen as NaNaNa's Underbelly is used on him, is a much more contemporary image of him as he is currently bound to the Muken chair. It depicts Aizen's entire upper torso, his attire, and his head, along with his notably calm and collected appearance. The current image is not only out of date, but does not depict his entire head, along with his hairline, forehead, and overall facial structure being different from almost most other depictions of him. Shū Kannogi[]

Alright I think this has been a long while in coming. One of our requirements is that the subject must be facing forward and in his current image Shū Kannogi is not doing so. Now there are exceptions to this rule but it is usually in the absence of an image facing forward of the character are hand. For Sir Shū we have several on the matter that are much more forward facing than the present one. The expression is not one of the requirements unless it complete messes up their face. Most of our organisations, save for a few, are usually represented by their symbol and such. The Bount Crest is related to them all, it is usually present on the object the Dolls are sealed within and it appeared on Kariya's chest when he first activated his Doll, and he was the first one. I did alter this image a little from Episode 69 for it to work like our other symbols but there are other instances with the Anime of it in use but this one follows the style of how say Gotei 13 and Wandenreich and others follow.
