Retsu Unohana

Votes for Retsu Unohana

  1. Unohana is a versatile fighter, able to heal herself and fight. I also like her personality better than Zaraki's. And look at how fast Unohana cornered him! -Kamikaze839 (talk) 03:20, January 29, 2013 (UTC)
  2. Unohana is quite possibly the scariest female protagonist I've ever seen. Also, she's currently kicking Zaraki's ass.--Xilinoc (talk) 03:23, January 29, 2013 (UTC)
  3. Unohana I have always thought she was awesome and there was more to her and that she was powerful, more so then what anyone thought. Thats further showcased and regardless of what happens she is my pick.--Salubri (Chat) 05:05,1/29/2013
  4. Unohana is inherently "better" in every way!! For a start she knows the name of her Zanpakutō, she has Bankai and she's the Gotei 13's best healer and that's before you start on her kicking Zaraki's backside!! SunXia (Chat) 05:13,1/29/2013
  5. I don't like Zaraki and Unohana is badass--God|Pray05:14,1/29/2013
  6. Unohana. Not sure how this will play out in the manga, but if Unohana were fighting to kill or to win, she takes this. Arrancar109 (Talk) 05:41, January 29, 2013 (UTC)
  7. While I like both, I think Unohana is better in just about every way. Much more complete character and enjoyable character and more interesting to watch fighting. ~~Ууp <talk> 15:16, January 29, 2013 (UTC)
  8. Same as above. —This unsigned comment is by BlueExorcistForever (talkcontribs) 20:55, 29 January 2013. Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
  9. Without a doubt Unohana, I mean look at this fight so far I strongly believe that if Unohana's aim was to kill Zaraki he would be dead right now. Plus she is the first Kenpachi and was never defeated.--Kenpachi Yachiru (talk) 23:32, January 29, 2013 (UTC)
  10. In a plotless environment Unohana would win everytime. She's got more experience, probably a similar level of reiatsu and she has bankai (which she has probably mastered). Sorry Zaraki, not this time.--—This unsigned comment is by Demotivator (talkcontribs) . Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
  11. I well go with Unohana. I believe she's a better fighter,and I think it's stupid for her to die just to make Zaraki stronger.Naruto 45 (talk) 01:08, January 30, 2013 (UTC)
  12. Unohana because she can heal herself, she has kido, and while Zaraki barely knows the basics of Kendo, she has a specific tactical fighting style of her own. And, she has Bankai. She has shunpo and she has much more experience than Zaraki.--Fatdude (talk) 02:40, January 30, 2013 (UTC)
  13. Unohana Let's face it, even if Kenpachi Ziraki grows stronger, he can never outclass one of Soul Society's original badasses. The battle has just begun and Kenpachi needs to go back to school, before he can even remotely be in the same class as her--LemursYou are about to enter the Twlight Zone  03:32,1/30/2013  03:32, January 30, 2013 (UTC)
  14. I'm hoping Unohana will win, as her abilities are far greater than Zaraki's, but it looks like Kubo is going to make Zaraki the victor. I'm hoping she'll escape alive though.   EpaXtalk   08:12, January 31, 2013 (UTC)
  15. Unohana is the better fighter. All Kenpachi does is prolong his fights to enjoy it, and that'll be his undoing. --Qazqaz555 01:37, February 1, 2013 (UTC)
  16. Unohana hands down. She has a shikai and bankai that she can actually name. She has mastered all forms of swordplay amd strikes fear into others. While she is gonna lose in the manga, that is because of plot and Kubo's need to power up kenpaichi without having him learn his shikai name or bankai.Umishiru (talk) 22:25, February 1, 2013 (UTC)
  17. If I were to judge who I think will win depending on power, character, and all, Unohana is my bet. She's obviously holding back in the manga because she just wants to free Kenpachi from sheathing his powers. But hands down to both of them. -ChazWyman 12:20 AM February 3, 2013.
  18. Because uhnohana is far experienced and more skilled than zaraki she is alot older then him although zaraki might win later on but for this battle uhnohana is gonna win for sure I mean look she normally her sword skills is better then kenpachi and she already acheived bankai while kenpachi have't even reach shikai plus unohana could even heal!

Votes for Kenpachi Zaraki

  1. Zaraki wins because - let's face it - plot hax. Mohrpheus (Talk) 03:31, January 29, 2013 (UTC)
  2. Zaraki wins no doubt about it! After all the whole point of there fight is to help him to grow stronger so I think in the end he's going to win for sure.--CiFeR215 (talk) 07:18, January 29, 2013 (UTC)
  3. Zaraki will win this because he has Ichigo's fighting spirit. He will never give up and fight until he is dead. The goal in this is to get him stronger. Why would a person who has spent too much time healing others still be an expert at battle? Kenpachi has never stopped fighting and trying to get better. He will win because of his desire and need to get stronger. Let's face it. Unohana is rusty, and this whole fight would be a waste of time if Zaraki did not win. Then again, it would be fun to see the current Yachiru (the one who calls Kenpachi "Kenny") become captain. But I digress; Zaraki will have to win. Also, after the newest chapter, I know Zaraki will win. TechGenusMaster (talk) 14:19, January 29, 2013 (UTC)
  4. Zaraki is like the God of War! As awesome as Unohana is, i think Zaraki has it in the bag with his utmost belief he "has" to win.—This unsigned comment is by Skitzo1 (talkcontribs) 15:04, 29 January 2013. Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
  5. Zaraki will win for the plain benefit of the story and he will probably do something completely badass while doing so. --Mangamaster337 (talk)mangamaster337'
  6. Zaraki has proven time and time again that he needs proper motivation before he starts to really tear his opponent up. Take Nnoitra, for example. Those two went back and forth for quite a while, with Kenpachi on the defensive for most of the fight. According to context being seen now in the manga, Kenpachi used to be A.) more dangerous and B.) gave Unohana that nasty scar. If he did that once, what's to say he won't suddenly super saiyan again?—This unsigned comment is by SlayerZaraki (talkcontribs) 18:47, 29 January 2013. Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
  7. Kenpachi because he always gets stronger after every fight like a super saiyan and Unohana said it herself, Kenpach was the only person she couldnt beat. I dont even think Unohana will use her Zanpaktos release cause i think being a Kenpachi is like only using raw power, not the power of your Zanpakto. MiaChan101 (talk) 04:10, January 31, 2013 (UTC)
  8. While I think Unohana is currently the better fighter hands down she has the capacity to make Zaraki the greatest fighter so I'm going with Kenpachi Zaraki.--Allclevernamestaken (talk) 02:10, February 4, 2013 (UTC)
  9. Zaraki Kenpachi, he is the beast of the beast. someone who fear no pain. someone wilder enough to make Nnoitra Jiruga to fear of death. and he is the only one who is capable to handle 3 Quincy at once, no doubt he'll win!—This unsigned comment is by Vanessa Milton (talkcontribs) . 10. Kenpachi never back's down, even if it mean's he's gonna die, and i don't think Kubo will kill him, it's going to be a bloodfest, and it'll be awesome. Kenpachi will rise as the victor! IrregularBankai

The Visored partners vs. Two of the oldest captains. Cast your vote. Who would win if they went head to head?

Shunsui and Jūshirō

Votes for Love and Rose

  1. I am going to have to give the edge to Love and Rose. People are trying to say that Love and Rose lost to Starrk while Shunsui beat him alone but Ukitake and Shunsui lost to him first, only for Shunsui to then make a sneak attack on Starrk for the win. Both Love and Rose are competent fighters while Ukitake is frail and sickly. He may be one of the oldest and strongest characters, but considering he is repeatedly on his death bed, I think he would be a hindrance in this fight and cause Shunsui to lose.--God|Pray23:16,2/5/2013
  2. Love and Rose overall are great fighters. --Lawtempest (talk) 23:23, February 5, 2013 (UTC)
  3. I'll have to agree with God on this one --Xilinoc (talk) 03:19, February 6, 2013 (UTC)
  4. While both teams suffer from constant, debilitating variables (Ukitake's sickness and Kyōraku's Zanpakutō being picky as to when it'll use its power - and the Vizard's limited mask time) making them both unreliable, I'm going to judge the winner based on what would happen if all parties were at full strength. And when it comes down to it... Love and Rose win. Ukitake's Shikai is used to redirect energy-based techniques, and while that was effective against Stark or even Yamamoto's flames - Love's brute force techniques can just break the man. Rose can also act as a ranged fighter, countering Kyōraku's close-combat techniques (but then again, that didn't save Stark or even Chad to an extent). So in the end, Ukitake and Rose would probably end up knocked out, and against Love - Kyōraku's laziness would be his downfall. He'd just quit in the end rather then go to the trouble against him.   Kuro      Ashi   03:14, February 7, 2013 (UTC)
  5. I personally believe Rose and Love would win, as they are both former captains (Love has been reinstated as a captain), and they all have Bankai, so that point is moot. Unpredictable Shikai powers, Shunsui explains all of his abilities, ruining his unpredictability, while love is assumed to have at least 10 other techniques in Shikai, which would be assumed to be just as destructive, not to mention his sealed abilities. Juushiro also has unknown shikai abilities, but his constant illness makes him unreliable in a fight. Love and Rose also have their masks, which greatly amplify their destructive power. Their only weakness would be a match up between Love and Juushiro would be just catastrophic towards their chances, so as long as they stay clear of those particular abilities, and of course their presumed Ceros, they would have more than a fair chance of winning -- Sicarius001 (talk) 09:11, February 7, 2013 (UTC)
  6. I vote Love and Rose. All four of them are captains so they all have bankai. Even though we've only ever seen their shikai, they are extremely powerful. So if you imagine them with their bankai, which would make them at LEAST twice as strong, it would be pretty evenly matched. Shunsui and Juushiro are ancient, and can stand against Yamamoto, so they have a distinct advantage when it comes to experience and knowledge. The visoreds, however, are part hollow, so if they get pushed far enough and they couldn't use their masks anymore, they would just hollowfy completely and just rampage. So I vote Love and Rose. It might not be a fair fight, but in the end these two would be the last ones standing. —This unsigned comment is by crazuhcatlady (talkcontribs) . Please sign your posts with ~~~~!

Votes for Shunsui and Jūshirō

  1. I think Shunsui & Jushiro would take it since they are probably more experienced and they seem to make a good tag team. Aside from that they were Yamamoto's students and together were apparently able to survive a bout with him. That alone stands as a testament to there superb teamwork and overall ability. Shunsui & Jushiro all the way on this one.--CiFeR215 (talk) 22:50, February 4, 2013 (UTC)
  2. Apart from the excellent tag team, Ukitake might not have shown the full extent of his shikai, so there could be more abilities that we have yet to see. And Shunsui has a very unique shikai ability that would take time to adjust to. Also, they have much more experience and were trained by the late Head Captain himself. And both captains also appear to be very smart in the way they battle. Kamikaze839 (talk) 22:57, February 4, 2013 (UTC)
  3. They took on Yamamoto in a fight and only got scratched!! The other two got beaten by Starrk before Kyōraku defeated him in a fight that was plagued by interruptions!! Kyōraku might have surprised Starrk but he took a cheapshot with a point blank shot to Kyōraku's back first so fair is fair, Kyōraku still got back up a kicked butt!! SunXia (Chat) 23:20,2/4/2013
  4. If Love uses his Shikai ability (Hifuki no Koduchi) then he and Rose lose instantly. That attack is more than enough to destroy any normal opponent, and Sogyo no Kotowari will send it flying back at increased speed and power. I can't see Love or Rose dodging an amplified version of Hifuki no Koduchi, and I can't imagine they'd survive a hit from that. Even if they miraculously did, all of Katen Kyokotsu's "games" would confuse them and win the battle for Kyoraku and Ukitake.--Fatdude (talk) 00:39, February 5, 2013 (UTC)
  5. Rose is useless! He'd only slow down Love rather than help him. --Cookieman3 (talk) 01:03, February 5, 2013 (UTC)
  6. Agreeing with an above statement, Love and Rose were beaten by Coyote Starrk, while Shunsui beat Stark by himself. --Qazqaz555 01:09, February 5, 2013 (UTC)
  7. Shunsui & Jushiro will win this one.Their older more experienced, and all around more powerful.Naruto 45 (talk) 18:43, February 5, 2013 (UTC)
  8. Ukitake and Kyoraku take this. Aside from Unohana and Yamamoto, they've been captains the longest. Not to mention, as I have stated many times in the past, Kyoraku alone took down an Espada both Love and Rose failed to defeat, and he only did it with his Shikai. Love and Rose struggled with Starrk with both their Shikai and their Hollowfication, and Starrk still beat them. Arrancar109 (Talk) 19:58, February 5, 2013 (UTC)
  9. Kyoraku can take them alone, proved by the Stark battle. IrregularBankai
  10. I am voting for Shunsui and Ukitake but not for the misinformed reasons of others. Firstly while some use the point that Love & Rose were defeated that is not true. In the battle between them and Starrk they had the upper hand then he did but their fight was interrupted. Having said that it goes without saying that in age, experience and power Ukitake and Shunsui are far superior and therefore they would win this fight.--Salubri (Chat) 23:38,2/5/2013
  11. I am voting for Shunsui and Ukitake on this one. First, they are both captains, and Shunsui is now head captain. Rose was (is) a captain, but Love is no longer one due to others surpassing him. While they have the power of hollowficitation (Might have spelled that wrong), both Shunsui and Ukitake have Bankai. Also, Shunsui's Shikai is very strong and allows for many hidden attacks. While Ukitake does not usually fight, when he does, he fights fairly well. Not to mention these two make the greatest pair out of all of the other captains. Shunsui and Ukitake for the win. TechGenusMaster (talk) 13:08, February 6, 2013 (UTC)
  12. I am voting for shunsui and utitake because they are an experiened team and they are just stronger than them.Nutterbutter12 (talk) 01:55, February 7, 2013 (UTC)
  13. I am voting for shunsui and ukitake i mean why? There is no doubt...what do you expect from the one of the 2 oldest and strongest captain of the gotei 13..I mean even shunsui is the HEAD CAPTAIN right now! So these 2 will win rose and love for sure 100%.—This unsigned comment is by Kaninswordma (talkcontribs) . Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
  14. With a combination of Katen Kyokotsu's "games" (Takaoni, Kageoni, Irooni), and Sogyo no Kotowari's ability to return attacks back at the user, Kyoraku and Ukitake would win hands-down. Lest we also not forget that these two were students of Head Captain Yamamoto himself. It's only logical that these two would win. Schiffy (talk) 17:36, February 7, 2013 (UTC)
  15. I'll have to vote for Shunsui and Ukitake for this one. I personally think their Shikais are more efficient than Love and Rose's, as well as their intelligence (lol). Also, they have shown to make a better tag team than the latter.   EpaXtalk   22:27, February 7, 2013 (UTC)
  16. I think we don't have enough information on either of the two teams. But with the current powers, I'm sure that Kyoraku and Ukitake would win this battle. The first reason is that they have much more experience, and (in my opinion) they form a better team. Love and Rose cannot cooperate well, because of their powers, but they're still very strong opponents to anyone. On the one hand a hollow mask can be a terrifying power, and on the other hand you cannot rely on it for a long time, because of the time limit and the fact that it can be destroyed. Rose and Love still have a very destructive power-combo. BUT Kyoraku and Ukitake is a very experienced team. They perfectly fulfill each other's incompleteness, therefore they won't set each other back. Choosing the battleground and the circumstances correctly is a must for the Kyoraku - Ukitake team, because it can truly affect the outcome of the battle. Using Katenkyokatsu to trick their opponent, while blocking their attacks with Ukitake's shikai is the key for winning the battle against the visoreds.—This unsigned comment is by Anabra (talkcontribs) . Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
  17. Hands down, Shunsui Kyoraku and Jushiro Ukitake. The point I'm astonished people have left out is that neither of them have even revealed their Bankai yet so you've yet to incorporate that into the equation. If Jushiro's and Shunsui's Shikai are THAT strong, imagine what their Bankai are like. They'd easily knock the Visoreds down.—This unsigned comment is by Rinichiro (talkcontribs) . Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
  18. Going to have to go with Shunsui and Ukitake on this one. It isn't simply because of their superior age and potentially superior power, however. The two have been long time friends and have displayed an extremely advanced ability to work cohesively as a team. They know one another's abilities almost as well as they know their own, and it's that intimate knowledge of one another that would ultimately be the deciding factor. SlayerZaraki (talk) 08:25, February 9, 2013 (UTC)
  19. Shunsui and Ukitake. Kyoraku may have sneaked his kageoni attack but remember that when Wonderweiss appeared and sneak attaked Ukitake, Starrk also sneaked in an attack that left Kyoraku lying on the ground. As has been said before, fair's fair. In my opinion, it wouldn't take both of them. Kyoraku alone would be enough to defeat Rose and Love. Same goes for Ukitake.
  20. i vote for shunsui and ukitake coz' i really loved them from the start of the series and they are both kind and approachable people and thus they are the oldest and one of the strongest captains in the gotei 13 --Almiralovestwilight (talk) 11:02, February 10, 2013 (UTC) Almiralovestwilight :)

The Best Betrayal

Two apparent good guys gone bad. The seemingly minor character who became the primary antagonist vs. The only man Ichigo believed he could trust who turned out to be the one truly after him. Cast your vote. Whose betrayal was better?

Sōsuke Aizen

Votes for Sōsuke Aizen

  1. I´m going with God IrregularBankai
  2. Hate both these guys since they started out done well then became silly but Aizen took a lot more to defeat!! SunXia (Chat) 22:29,2/11/2013

  4. Aizen is the epitome of evil. Kugo didn't really have a purpose for doing what he did Kamikaze839 (talk) 23:40, February 11, 2013 (UTC)
  5. In a move that absolutely everyone saw coming, I am voting for Aizen (I know, big shock, right?). To me, Aizen's betrayal was just so perfectly set up. His death was so mysterious, then the note he leaves for Momo, and Gin as the red herring. There was just enough evidence that if you read it very closely, you could guess that Aizen was a traitor but it shocked just about everyone. Kugo on the other hand, most people predicted that he was a bad guy. His betrayal was much more personal, but it was not as shocking as Aizen's.--God|Pray01:25,2/12/2013
  6. Wow! Godisme voted for Aizen! A shocker! Ok, seriously though, you have to weigh the circumstances. Ginjo was a wuss of a traitor- just stealing Ichigo's powers- not enough, apparently. Also, which one is immortal? While Ginjo is still alive (if you could call it that), Aizen transcended all boundaries and became immortal. You would have to rule out Aizen coming back as something making him better than Ginjo though- Ginjo is also coming back- apparently with Ganju. Aizen's master scheme went on for decades, but Kugo's was very short-lived (and planned). Either way, Ginjo may be a traitor, but even Gin was better, and he is dead now. TechGenusMaster (talk) 02:35, February 12, 2013 (UTC)
  7. ... Aizen is broken beyond all comprehension to begin with. Even assuming he hasn't regained the use of Kyōka Suigetsu and acknowledging that he apparently lost a fair chunk of the power he gained from the hogyoku, he'd probably still wipe the floor with Ginjo in terms of combat ability. And as far as his betrayal goes... Well, it can be easily summed up like this: He's just too smart for everyone else's own good, absurdly so at that. To top it all off he managed to violate almost every single one of the Soul Society's most sacred laws all right under everybody's noses for hundreds of years, and only Shinji had enough sense not to trust him. SlayerZaraki (talk) 13:46, February 12, 2013 (UTC)
  8. I would definitely have to go with Sosuke Aizen on this one. His betrayal entailed more than just stirring up a rag tag group of fighters. He was conspiring to defect from Soul Society for over 100 years and created an army of arrancar to fight the shinigami and even orchestrated Ichigo's Kurosaki's progression from an ordinary human to a shinigami just so that he may test himself against Ichigo's power. As for combat prowess, even without the Hogyoku or Kyoka Suigetsu, Aizen is still an immensely powerful Hakuda and Kido master, not to mention a genius intellect. Additionally, even in his weakened state he was able to have some influence over the mind of someone as powerful as Juhabach. I think Aizen is in a class of his own and Kugo can't even find the door.--CiFeR215 (talk) 15:19, February 12, 2013 (UTC)

  12. Aizen's betrayal just seemed more evil --Syxx20 (talk) 17:23, February 15, 2013 (UTC)
  13. Aizen put a lot more planning into his betrayal, and it had a much larger effect on the Bleach universe. Sure, Kugo's had more emotion behind it, but Aizen's came much closer to succeeding, and whereas Aizen's resulted in Ichigo losing his powers, thus depriving the Shinigami of one of their most powerful fighters, Kugo's ended with Ichigo getting even more powerful than before his final fight with Aizen. Surev (talk) 16:53, February 16, 2013 (UTC)
  14. I'm voting Aizen for several reasons. In hindsight, if you look closely its clear that Aizen was behind the execution, but still it was executed perfectly. We are introduced to this really nice, go lucky guy, who seems like he would be the kind of guy to help Ichigo, even though he was the enemy. Then, this poor guy gets killed for trying to find out the truth, and we feel bad, because we have really started to get to know this real down to earth guy. Then, we see this guy come back and… nearly kills his most loyal subordinate, and you are just left in awe. Aizen is easily one of, if not the biggest shocker in Bleach. Also, the guy is brutal with class. Sure, he's gone over the top, but Aizen is still my favorite villain in Bleach. Kugo being the bad guy was sort of revealed at the get go, and the reveal was too Aizen-esque. Note to Kubo, you can't top perfection.--LemursYou are about to enter the Twlight Zone  23:16,2/16/2013  23:16, February 16, 2013 (UTC)
  15. Aizen hands down. The man is brilliant. I got a shock from both betrayals however I did feel Kugo's coming so the shock was a tad bit more minor than Aizen. Also, to be fair to Kugo we never got to see much action from him. Ok he had a Hollow as well, what good was it? But a big reason I am voting for Aizen is the comparison of the downfalls of their betrayal. Kugo gave Ichigo a cookie and snatched it away which was a real wrong move. But when it came to backing up his actions he blew all his power and barely scratched Ichigo when he got his Powers. Aizen on the other hand, he ALWAYS remained confident he would win. Never showing doubt. He kept his calm through any challenge which is rare in the Bleach universe. When he finally realized his defeat during his chat with Kisuke and getting sealed away. When he loses his temper at that point, I get MAJOR Butterflies. I hope to see more potential from Kugo in the future, but this round definitely goes to Aizen!—This unsigned comment is by Soon to be Captain (talkcontribs) . Please sign your posts with ~~~~!

Votes for Kūgo Ginjō

  1. Kugo's betrayal was a huge surprise. Although Aizen's betrayal was also big, there wasn't enough story to show that he was apparently a good guy. Aizen's betrayal was more planned out, but when the majority was revealed, he was already known as a bad guy, which didn't come as a surprise. --Qazqaz555 01:19, February 12, 2013 (UTC)
  2. Though I was surprised by both of these characters becoming antagonists, I'll have to go with Kugo. His power and intelligence isn't as outlandish as Aizen's, and his plan, in addition to being far more realistic, was more personally aimed at Ichigo, making his betrayal much more affecting.--Xilinoc (talk) 01:37, February 12, 2013 (UTC)
  3. For all of Aizen's power, in the end Kugo just strikes me as the better character. While his backstory is still rather vague, we at least have some believable semblance of motivation on his part, as opposed to Aizen's mostly blank slate. And regardless of when he was a "good" or bad guy, his personality was just more entertaining overall. And best of all, Kugo's betrayal utterly broke Ichigo. I'd give Tsukishima more credit for that, but he's not here. Mohrpheus (Talk) 02:56, February 12, 2013 (UTC)

Showdown of the Ice Types

The two ice type Zanpakutō's. One is said to be the most beautiful Zanpakutō in Soul Society, the other the most powerful of all ice types. Make your pick, which would you prefer to have?

Votes for Sode No Shirayuki

  1. I would like this one since, despite Hyorinmaru being an awesome Zanpakuto, it's just about pure power. Sode No Shirayuki is about elegance, being the most beautiful zanpakuto. Their's a certain art to swordsmanship I like to see. Kamikaze839 (talk)
  2. Kami said it perfectly.--Xilinoc (talk) 04:35, February 19, 2013 (UTC)
  3. Sode No Shirayuki for me. They both seem quite powerful. What's more, in the non-canon spirit form, Sode No Shirayuki seems to be being held back quite a bit by Rukia being her wielder. The spirt used techniques Rukia can't/hasn't used and improved upon the one's she does know. Besides, as a guy I'd like to have a female Zampakutō. --Rocconorth (talk) 05:36, February 19, 2013 (UTC)
  4. Love the sheer beauty of simplicity shown in Sode no Shirayuki, for what could be more beautiful than a frozen crystal blade, creating waves of pure ice??? Sode no Shirayuki all the way, Hyorinmaru is too over-powered, and needs to take a step back and go "What am I missing???" Sicarius001 (talk) 07:05, February 19, 2013 (UTC)
  5. I vote for Sode no Shirayuki because it is an amazing zanpactou and it is beautiful. it is a deadly beauty. so what if Hyorinmaru is more powerful. it is only because of the wielder. Sode no Shirayuki still has potential to become even stronger. —This unsigned comment is by Bleachcrazy611 (talkcontribs) . Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
  6. Beauty vs Power. This one is tough. I've always imagined Captain Hitsugaya as a Captain Commander one day (The Age Of The Ice Dragon kinda thing), and Hyorinmaru is an amazing Zanpakuto with possibly limitless potential. However am choosing Sode no Shirayuki because I find it akin to a flower waiting to bloom, and the beauty that comes with it. Rukia isn't that powerful yet, and we are yet to see her potential with her Zanpakuto, hence there is a lot of potential waiting to be sought out. I guess am choosing it more because of sentimentality rather than hard facts.Shishio san (talk) 21:44, February 21, 2013

Votes for Hyōrinmaru

  1. Though I don't care much for Hitsugaya, I really like Hyorinmaru. To me, its always one of the coolest Zanpakutos to see in action. I like the concept of an ice dragon.--God|Pray04:39,2/19/2013
  2. Definitely Hyōrinmaru. Not only is it the strongest ice/snow-type Zanpakutō, it's also got a theme for chinese dragons, which are elegant, powerful, and snake-like, combining the power of dragons with the beauty of ice and snow.--Yomiko-chan (talk) 04:50, February 19, 2013 (UTC)
  3. As much as I love Sode No Shirayuki, well I did before the anime ruined her for me, Hyōrinmaru is amazing his abilities are awesome, I espepcially love the clone allowing Hitsugaya to gauges his opponent!! SunXia (Chat) 05:42,2/19/2013
  4. This one is too clear 1. Its a flippin dragon 2. Bankai 3. Better moves 4. Better name 5. Better hilt Even though the blade of Sode no shirayuki is nicer, hyorinmaru is just too beast.--Mangamaster337 (talk) 13:47, February 19, 2013 (UTC)
  5. Obviously Hyorinmaru is the better choice here. First of all, Sode No Shirayuki was easily destroyed by the weakest espada(even though Rukia ultimately won anyway) while Hyorinmaru was sturdy enough to go against the tres Espada without so much as a crack. On top of that, there is a huge power difference between the 2 Zanpakuto. Sode No Shirayuki is powerful but nothing compared to Hyorinmaru's power and versatility in battle. Additionally, Sode No Shirayuki's attacks are too linear while Hyorinmaru's work many angles making it easier to catch the opponent off guard. The ice dragon gets my vote.--CiFeR215 (talk) 18:11, February 19, 2013 (UTC)
  6. This one was a rough one for me. I almost picked Sode no Shirayuki but went with Hyorinmaru in the end. Most of what appeals to me about Sode no Shirayuki is it's beauty. But you also have to have beauty to make it LOOK beautiful I would imagine. I don't have a whole lot of that, which doesn't bother me being a fella and all, and Hyorinmaru is just beastly. Something interesting about Hoyrinmaru's power is it's un-perfected. It's still not found full potential due to Hitsugaya's age. If its that powerful NOW, imagine it with proper training and years of practice! In terms of which I like more and prefer to see in action? Sode no Shirayuki takes it. Although that may be due to some bias as Rukia is just to cute. But since the Question is which I would rather have? I say leave the most beautiful Zanpakutō to the most beautiful character! Hyorinmaru takes my vote!—This unsigned comment is by Soon to be Captain (talkcontribs) . Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
  7. I'd have to go with Horinmaru. Although Sode no Shirayuki is elegant and beautiful with it's own special abilities of affecting the area around it as well as being able to 'repair' itself when the blade breaks to continue the fight, being the Zanpakuto of not just a captain, but one who has been regarded as one of the most promising in terms of power. Even as a shikai, it causes area damage before Hitsugaya swings it. Rukia is now an assistant captain, even though she acquired her power and skill long before, she is still not as powerful as Hitsugaya and so in a battle (between Zanpakuto) he will stand out on top. --Lozkaz (talk) 04:57, February 20, 2013 (UTC)
  8. Horinmaru for all the reasons stated above. I think it's a pretty strong Zanpakuto. Am. The..King!..
  9. Going on abilities alone, and not strength of the Shinigami, is tough, but I still say the battle goes to Hyōrinmaru. My judgement is made by excluding Daiguren Hyōrinmaru, and comparing Shikai alone. That said, Hyōrinmaru's abilities are, simply put, stronger than Sode no Shirayuki. Shirayuki may have the Third Dance, but it is extremely dangerous, even to the user. Schiffy (talk) 22:24, February 22, 2013 (UTC)
  10. It is stronger, cooler looking, and most importantly, more versatile than Sode no Shirayuki. -- Mohrpheus (Talk) 22:39, February 22, 2013 (UTC)
  11. Hyōrinmaru's Tensō Jūrin in itself is reason enough for me to select Hyōrinmaru at this point in time. ---Mr. N (Discuss) 22:30, February 23, 2013 (UTC)
  12. That's a really hard decision for me because I love both these Zanpakuto. However, Hyourinmaru wins by a little bit because of its versatility and strength AnimeBear (talk) 04:04, February 24, 2013 (UTC)
  13. Hyōrinmaru for me in the case of Zanpakutō I would prefer power over beautiful and it's awesome.Naruto 45 (talk) 03:10, February 25, 2013 (UTC)
  14. i prefer Hyorinmaru.while it's stronger,it has more wariaty of amazing techniques as for battle as well as visually(i mean the techniques not katanas).i think it's obvious that power and potential of Hyorinmaru far surpasses to that of Sode no shirayuki—This unsigned comment is by Regalo (talkcontribs) . Dueling Female Leads

The first Shinigami in the series vs. the strong willed human. Make your pick, who is the better female protagonist?

Rukia Kuchiki

Votes for Rukia Kuchiki

  1. Rukia because she can actually fight, I like her personality better, and isn't totally dependent on other people for a majority of the series Kamikaze839 (talk) 22:47, February 25, 2013 (UTC)
  2. Rukia is a strong, independent female Shinigami who don't need no main protagonist to save her ass. Orihime, on the other hand...--Xilinoc (talk) 00:16, February 26, 2013 (UTC)
  3. Let me start by saying I like both characters. Its tough to pick one because they both feel like friends lol. That being said, definitely Rukia! Don't get me wrong I like Orihime, but I LOVE Rukia. Shes such a boss in attitude and actions. Shes very skilled and mature when it comes to fighting, but she still acts foolish when around friends. Orihime tries her best but in a fight there is little she can do. Orihime's healing powers are great and all but they seem only of use when everything is said and done. It is true she has gotten more skilled and we have yet to see her in to much action to gage her new found powers after the 17 months. However the same could be said about Rukia, A side from her fight with Riruka (In which she held back being that Riruka was human) We haven't seen Rukia unload since she became Lieutenant. Rukia is more appealing to me in personality, looks, skills, and over all character. I love Rukia, she gets my vote. Sorry Orihime! You're both dynamite gals.—This unsigned comment is by Soon to be Captain (talkcontribs) . Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
  4. Im going with Rukia. She is a independent and capable combatant who has always been there for Ichigo. She trumps Orihime in every way considering that on her best day Orihime can't do more then be a liability to her friends in combat situations when she should just stay home. Rukia while not the strongest character is the one that stands out as a significant protagonist after all if not for her then Ichigo would have never been more then a student that could see ghosts.--Salubri (Chat) 01:52,2/26/2013
  5. Rukia is a strong heart and minded female Shinigami. She takes action better, she is serious while still being fun around friends, she know how handle her self in battle and she helped ichigo in many ways. When I think of Rukia I think female protagonist when I think of Orihime I think damsel in distress. I think Orihime is a great character but Rukia is better and gets my vote—This unsigned comment is by Superspartan321 (talkcontribs) . Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
  6. Rukia is much better than Orihime. At lest she can stand up for herself and doesn't scream "Kurosaki-kun" every time she is in trouble. Rukia is strong both physically and mentally.--Bleachcrazy611 (talk) 15:20, February 26, 2013 (UTC)
  7. Rukia gets my vote since she has fought more powerful opponents and usually comes out victorious. She's a strong, experienced Shinigami who has proven herself more than capable time and time again without having to rely on Ichigo. On top of that, sometimes it seems like Orihime is too kind hearted for her own good.--CiFeR215 (talk) 15:58, February 26, 2013 (UTC)
  8. For me it's Rukia purely because Orihime never gets in on the action, only ever heals people and gives advice that's never gonna help, everybody knows through common sense, and the rest is stuff that you really should NOT take on board. Also, she can't even tell someone when they're being an douche. No, Rukia actually helps in combat, she gives useful advice that you probably won't know and scolds people when they're p*ssing her, and everyone else, off. Team Rukia all the way ^_^ —This unsigned comment is by KiyoriIshida (talkcontribs) . Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
  9. Its definitely Rukia for me, she can handle her her self very well without Ichigo while not getting in the way as much as Orihime, shes boosted Ichigos confidence up when he was all depressed, she is a skilled strong willed Shinigami while still being hilarious at times, shes been saved by Ichigo before but dont forget that she has also saved Ichigo. She has been a special awesome character since the beginning and will always be.Jcaliber321 (talk) 20:43, February 27, 2013 (UTC)
  10. Rukia has been a very active character compared to Orihime. She has shown leadership potential from the very beginning, and despite being in a weakened state in the beginning of the series, she has done her best to overcome this as best she could to help Ichigo (do her job). Rukia is a better fighter then Orihime, who, even though she will do whatever it takes to protect her friends, is less of fighter and more of a supporter. Rukia also has more offensive abilities then Orihime being an expert in the destructive Kido arts as well as the defensive, restraintive and restorative, whereas Orihime has only a set defensive and restorative and offensive abilities of her own that are more generally in there functions. Orihime has even admitted to actually feeling jealous of Rukia for being able to help Ichigo out of his funk after losing his first fight with Ullquiora and Yammy, demonstrating her leadership quality in inspiring people to there full potential. I'm not saying that Orihime is not as good a person as Rukia (maybe better in terms of overall attitude), Rukia is just shown as a better canadate for the title. --Lozkaz (talk) 23:30, February 27, 2013 (UTC)
  11. Orihime is weak and I don't like weak characters. (: Ponurak.pngPonurak Ponurak2.png 15:20, March 2, 2013 (UTC)
  12. Rukia ofcourse, I can't stand Orihime's whining "Kurosaki-kuuuun"... Rukia is strong and independent and can stand on her own against strong enemies.—This unsigned comment is by Night486 (talkcontribs) . Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
  13. Rukia is very much Ichigo's counterpart, not romantically damn it, but in terms of character and role throughout the story. She was his first mentor, and has often gotten him back on his feet when he has lost his way. Mohrpheus (Talk) 06:44, March 4, 2013 (UTC)
  14. This took me a long time to decide on. Like others have pointed out, Rukia's character development stopped as soon as Aaroniero died, and even before that, it was slowed significantly after the Soul Society arc, while Orihime, while slowly, was still a developing character beyond those points. However, I'm going with Rukia. As much as her character development has halted completely, she has a lot more strengths as an overall character than Orihime. Even ignoring the fact that Orihime was reluctant to harm anyone in previous arcs, Rukia shouldered a lot more emotional baggage than Orihime did. She killed Kaien and never forgave herself for it, and when Ichigo was nearly killed by Byakuya, she blamed herself for changing his fate in the first place. Orihime's not a bad character, but out of the two, she's not quite up there. Arrancar109 (Talk) 19:53, March 4, 2013 (UTC)
  15. Rukia is a better fit for female protagonist Orihime doesn't really even feel like a protagonist the things that Rukia does throughout the series fits the role a whole lot more then Orihime. Not saying Orihime is a bad character but Rukia is a way better female protagonistTheguy061297 (talk) 22:04, March 4, 2013 (UTC)

Votes for Orihime Inoue

  1. I feel Rukia's character development very much ended in the Soul Society arc. Meanwhile Orihime has been slowly developing throughout the series, having gone from the weak willed girl who always needs to be saved, to a strong minded woman in the Substitute arc. Currently, I think she is the better female lead of the series as she is not a stale character like Rukia has become--God|Pray00:22,2/26/2013
  2. its a close one for me but i have to go with orihime on this one. the only time i realy like rukia at all is when shes fighting and not running her mouth. Orihime may talk alot sometimes but shes just a better character than rukia is. her powers actualy change, her breasts are bigger(usualy important in bleach by the look of most female characters), and she is more loyal to ichigo while rukia is more violent to ichigo. 5th seat yumichika (talk) 02:33, February 26, 2013 (UTC)
  3. I have to side with Orihime on this one. She never leaves Ichigo's side (neither does Rukia, but Orihime is human and is "by his side" much longer than Rukia is), and she is currently being used a lot. Meanwhile, Rukia almost dies and starts seeming very weak. Also, we know (most of us) that Orihime has feelings for Ichigo. I think this makes her a better character because it leaves room for more story (if Kubo goes anywhere with it). Rukia, like Godisme said, has lost her development. Orihime continues to evolve and become a better character. Besides, Bleach is about Ichigo and has a lot more interaction with humans than the Shinigami- at the end of most arcs, it returns to normal (assumption, not necessarily a good one) and Ichigo is with his human friends, not the Shinigami. In short, Orihime will always be around Ichigo, and humans will age together, while the Shinigami are almost never aging/dying. Orihime has supported Ichigo since before he even met Rukia, and will be in his life the longest (assuming Kubo doesn't make a bold move). TechGenusMaster (talk) 12:30, February 26, 2013 (UTC)
  4. First of all, like Godisme said, Rukia isn't really developing as a character anymore. At the beginning of Bleach, Orihime was afraid even of a low-class hollow such as Acidwire or Numb Chandelier. By the Soul Society Arc, she could run straight into Soul Society, knowing that it would be a constantly life-or-death situation once she got to the part where the Shinigami were, and kept her cool when she was seperated from everyone except for Uryu. By the Hueco Mundo Arc, she could've run and hid from Ulquiorra when given a chance for "goodbyes", but she went anyway in hopes that it would make the other protagonists safer. By the Fullbring Arc, she stand up even to "Kurosaki-Kun" with a firm resolve (when Ichigo tried to attack Tsukishima). Whereas Rukia stayed a static character after the Soul Society Arc ended. She scolds Ichigo, has lovey-dovey daydreams about Kaien, and beats the crap out of her enemies. That's good, but Orihime is, in my honest opinion, a much more dynamic character. And Orihime, theoretically, could bisect anyone if she were to try hard enough, since Shun Shun Rikka rejects the fusion of matter directly. That adds an interesting sort of hidden power that could be of use for unexpected changes later on. Rukia's great, but I think that Orihime has much more potential, both mental and physical.--Fatdude (talk) 21:53, February 26, 2013 (UTC)
  5. Orihime is definitely my choice. She cares more about Ichigo than Rukia ever will. Besides, Ichigo was brought back to life by her two times. Rukia couldn't do that. And we all know if Ichigo dies for good, BLEACH will end. People have the wrong idea about Orihime. She's been through more crap than Rukia with Ichigo trying to save her and all. Rukia isn't female material for Ichigo. Orihime is smart, independent, and strong. If anyone should be with Ichigo it is definitely Orihime.—This unsigned comment is by BerryKun (talkcontribs) . Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
  6. As per Godisme. Orihime plays a somewhat important role in each arc, and has slowly developed through each of them, right up to the Lost Shinigami Arc where she developed Soten Kenshun. Rukia developed a lot in the first two arcs, but that was where it ended.   EpaXtalk   01:15, February 27, 2013 (UTC)
  7. I will go with Orihime like Godisme said she has developed a lot more since the begging, also I like her Personality more. Lastly I believe she's a will be a better female lead.Naruto 45 (talk) 06:38, February 27, 2013 (UTC)
  8. As others have said before, Orihime is a much more developed character and she has better abilities than Rukia. She's stronger and more determined than at the beginning of the series and she is much more helpful in a fight now due to her constant training. She's not necessarily as battle ready as Rukia but she is great to have around in battle. It's kinda close but Orihime is the better female protagonist. AnimeBear (talk) 17:07, February 27, 2013 (UTC)
  9. I will be voting for Orihime here. Not only for her evolving character but also for her fighting skills. Her powers as it has been showed to be one that of a captain class. This was also acknowledged by Captain Unohana during the Soul Society arc after Aizen's betrayal. Her powers also had interested Aizen and he had commented that her powers was so great that it could change fate itself. But the best point which I like is how she and Ichigo are connected by their spiritual energy. Like Ichigo, she strives to protect others which results in further evolution of her powers. Her ability to shield, heal, attack, absorb attack and redirects it to the attacker makes her one of the strongest character in the Bleach universe. The5elements (talk) 11:42, March 4,2013 (UTC)
  10. As much I like both of these girls I'm going with Orihime, shore she not a fight but she still a importune member of Ichigo's team, and so she got my vote --—This unsigned comment is by Shouen Kingdom 6 (talkcontribs) . Please sign your posts with ~~~~!

Battle of the beasts

The old man strong enough to shatter an Arrancar with his bare fists vs. the only captain in history to attain the position without Bankai. Make your pick, who is the bigger badass?

Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto

Votes for Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto

  1. Yamamoto because not only is he strong and has a powerful Bankai, he also thinks about how he fights, laying all sorts of traps. And besides, raising an opponent's allies back from the dead is super badass right there. All Zaraki has is raising his reiatsu to extremes. --Kamikaze839 (talk) 00:17, March 5, 2013 (UTC)
  2. i vote for no less than the strongest shinigami in ss, just to make this a little clear yamamoto did not get any formal education to learn, kido, hakuda, zanjutsu and shunpo, in the first place he founded the shino academy and became a teacher there, it was never clear as to how he learned all of this whats clear is that no shinigami born in the last 1000 years could surpass his strength and power, and if anyone could remember that yamamoto became kenpachi's teacher at one time teaching him how to use two hands in weilding his katana, remember kenpachi lost his wooden sword just by a single hit from yamamoto this proves kenpachi would easily loose against the founder of the gotei 13!!! --User:Warprince89
  3. When it comes to being a badass, I don't see how anyone can top Yamamoto. He is over 1000 years old, in peak physical condition (the man has more muscles than anyone in the series really), he can paralyze people with just a glare, he turned Wonderweiss into dust with just his fists and he has used the strongest Kido in the series to date. I don't really think that can be topped.--God|Pray01:28,3/5/2013
  4. The question is who is the biggest badass? Well the answer is gonna be the one who doesnt have to have the obvious look of badass or think smashing through everything with no finesse is badass. The badass would have to be the one that has power you may hear about but not really expect to see. Yama even as old as he is can shatter an arrancar's body with his fists. You knew he was a beast the first time he took off his shirt. The fact that he kept over a dozen of the most powerful Shinigami in line for 1,000 yrs says alot, in fact two of those he kept in line was Zaraki and Unohana. So whose the badass when the old man is the one keeping the wild demon of battle in check as well as the greatest criminal in Soul Society, with only respect. Answer is obvious.--Salubri (Chat) 01:39,3/5/2013
  5. As much as I like Kenpachi Zaraki and I know he still has a lot of unexplored potential to becoming the ultimate badass, but until then, my vote for now goes to Old Man Yama, who gave us the "Full Monty" of his awesomeness in kicking ass. Kenpachi Zaraki maybe worthy of the title (or is about to be) but Yama-Sama has been doing the whole Hollow but kicking longer and has gained quite the reputation and respect from all who know him. --Lozkaz (talk) 05:00, March 5, 2013 (UTC)
  6. This is very simple for me. Yama became the more badass when he called Aizen naive and unleashed hado 96 when he was in the crater. Even though it did practically nothing to him, Aizen's face was a keeper :D And it's one of the most awesome moments in Bleach i think! Even his death was pretty badass! I don't like the guy , but he died on his feet!—This unsigned comment is by BlueExorcistForever (talkcontribs) . Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
  7. I would choose Yamamoto as even though Kenpachi is very strong, it takes a very long time for him to hear the call of his zanpakuto, whilst Yamamoto's zanpakuto is already named, plus Yamamoto also has the most versatile bankai.—This unsigned comment is by Bleachfananon2 (talkcontribs) . 8. Yamamoto was able to pose a significant threat to Aizen without his Bankai while Kenpachi struggled against Nnoitra. Nuff said.--CiFeR215 (talk) 19:03, March 5, 2013 (UTC)
  9. I don't think I need to put a reason this time, seriously.   EpaXtalk   00:17, March 6, 2013 (UTC\
  10. I would obviously choose Yammomoto because he is the head captain and much more stronger than Kenpachi. Kenpachi does have intense spiritual pressure but Yammamoto has got skills, a bankai and is even able to take on Jushiro and Kyoraku on the same time —This unsigned comment is by Bankai007 (talkcontribs) . 11. I think Yamamoto as we already get the name of his zanpakuto, with kenpachi's zanpakuto being unnamed for most of time, plus Yama has the most versatile bankai with different effects. —This unsigned comment is by DevotedNarutoLoverPerson (talkcontribs) . Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
  12. I think Yamamoto is more bad*ss because not only has he kept the title of Captain Commander for over 100 years but by his looks you wouldn't think of him as one. His old look(without seeing his body) betrays how strong he is and his ripped battle-scarred body further illistates how bad*ss he is. Kenpachi really is just reaching his level of true bad*ssness but Yamamoto has been there for a long time.AnimeBear (talk) 19:14, March 6, 2013 (UTC)}
  13. Badassery? Really? A man who makes Captains perspire in fear. A man whose entrance onto the battlefield demands respect. A man whose power of presence was potentially lethal. A man whose very blade is a nightmare to all who've witnessed its power, that no one has fought head on, blade to blade, and emerged victorious, so far as we know. The very same man whose Bankai consumed life itself before the very notion of attack. A man, who I believe fought holding back his true nature in his advanced age, and we saw only glimpses. This man who very well epitomises the word "battle". Badassery you ask? Am sorry but, Kenpachi is but a boy to this man.Shishio san (talk) March 7, 2013

Votes for Kenpachi Zaraki

  1. I'm going to play devil's advocate here and vote for Kenpachi. While Yamamato is by far the stronger of the two, has the strongest Zanpakuto in SS, can paralyze others by looking at them, etc., there is one thing that differentiates these two: skill. Yamamato formally learned Kidō, Hakuda, Zanjūtsū, and Shunpo. Kenpachi, on the other hand, relies on nothing more than what he's learned throughout his countless fights in order to win. He fights without any "tricks", and remains one of the strongest characters nonetheless.--Xilinoc (talk) 00:26, March 5, 2013 (UTC)
  2. Well let's face it, the question is of badass-ery, and no one can step into a fight looking as menacing-but-bored as Zaraki. He has an utter disregard of his opponent's abilities and looks to simply crush them, plus he believes that without a doubt he'll win in a fight. Even as a kid he was terrifying as well as unimaginably powerful... That image of him on top of that pile of corpses made him undoubtedly the scariest character in Bleach... In my opinion. KazeshiniKing (talk) 01:18, March 5, 2013 (UTC)
  3. Kenpachi is a badass --FinalMugetsu (talk) 04:39, March 5, 2013 (UTC)
  4. My vote goes to Kenpachi, simply because of his "Mental Shackles". He became the Captain of arguably one of the most powerful divisions in the Gotei 13, while severely restrained, and in every major conflict, is the ultimate Shinigami Trump-Card. As a child he was a badass, as a restrained captain, badass, and now that he is unrestrained? Ultimate Badass. Period. Sicarius001 (talk) 03:18, March 6, 2013 (UTC)
  5. My vote has to go to Kenpachi. Another tough one for me to vote on, I had to weigh a lot of different things. first of all I have to remember that when Rukia was up for execution, what did Yamamoto say about it? He just went along like some Yes man "Well uhhh central 46 said so" In that moment even his own students Shone out brighter than he. I will say that the Head Captain of the Gotei 13 does come with some responsibility, but he was just as oblivious as Byakuya at that time. Kenpachi on the other hand? His character may have been blunt, openly admitting he didn't care about whether Rukia lived or died and did what he did looking for Ichigo yadda yadda. But he followed his own path and went against the order. It is hard to pick a bigger badass based on fighting skill seeing how whenever either of them come out onto a battlefield, you KNOW some serious shit is about to go down. Kenpachi may seem to struggle in fights. But that is on a total subconscious level. Without fun in battle Kenpachi would lose his purpose. So to dull down his power and STILL kick such ass? Yamamoto may have lost a few points when he merely "wounded" Aizen. But who could forget what he did to the Member of Vandenreich that stole Sasakibe's Bankai! Literally melted the flesh from his bones! Only to follow up by ripping across Soul Society, leaving a massive blaze in his wake, inspiring every captain that saw the fiery path! That part gave me chills! And he fought hard, unveiling a WICKED Bankai. In the end he died but died STANDING slashed in two and STILL gabbed on to Buckbeard's cloak. But he did DIE. I may be taking the question "who IS a bigger badass" a tad to literal. But Yamamoto passed on. All he IS, is resting in peace. Kenpachi is now developing his strength to break his "subconscious plug of power (lol)" and has heard the call of his Zanpakto. New Head Captain Shunsui even said that Kenpachi is the only chance they have to win the war with Vandenreich. That also says a lot. We still haven't seen the full potential of Ukitake, Shunsui, Shinji, etc! If Shunsui is betting the survival of the Gotei 13, Soul Society AND THE BLOODY BALANCE OF THE WORLD on Kenpachi and his un-tapped potential? That is a testament to his Badassery! Both characters have a special place in my heart. But Yamamoto has reigned for 1000 years, he has earned a well deserved rest. May Kenpachi reign as Badass Champion! Rest in Peace, Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto. Sorry if I wrote a little to much lol. Soon to be Captain (talk) 09:03, March 6, 2013 (UTC)!
  6. Okay, we must face the facts. The Ultimate Badass is the Strongest in Soul Society, the Second Kenpachi, ZARAKI KENPACHI! He is the only Shinigami (Soul Reaper) to have reached the rank of captain without even a Shikai. When Old Man Yama saw him learning Zanjūtsū, he ordered it to stop, for fear of Kenpachi destroying Soul Society. This badass was also chosen by the First Kenpachi, Unohana Yachiru herself to become the next owner of the title of "Strongest". And that was before he heard the call of his once nameless Zanpakutō, making him second to none in the universe, except for maybe Kurosaki Ichigo or Kyōraku Shunsui. If that is not badass above all other forms of badass, I do not know what is. I rest my case. --RurouniSmartass (talk) 23:54, March 7, 2013 (UTC)
  7. Kenpachi by far beacuse beacuse everyone always underestamites him for his spritual level and how strong he is of a fighter. I mean come on he took on two Captin Soul reapers at once. He is also lost some of his sanity in a way to begin with but it still does not make up how good of a warrior he is.—This unsigned comment is by Zhaco (talkcontribs) . 8. Ok, I know Old Man Yama was super powerful, but I'm with Kenpachi purely because he's, well, more awesome. —This unsigned comment is by KiyoriIshida (talkcontribs) . Please sign your posts with ~~~~!

Espadas Femme Fatale

The former 3rd Espada who can cut through the toughest Hierro vs. the Espada of Sacrifice who challenged the ice dragon. Make your pick, who would win in a fight? (Note: for the sake of eveness, in this hypothetical fight, Nel is not hindered by transforming back into her child form. Please vote with this in mind. Thank you.)

Tier Harribel

Votes for Nelliel Tu Odelschwanck

  1. I'm gonna have to give my vote to Nel in this fight. Unlike Harribel, we haven't yet seen the full extent of her abilities, and she was able to effortlessly beat Nnoitra time and time again, even when he was the 5th Espada. I doubt Harribel and her flimsy water could stand a chance.--Xilinoc (talk) 20:37, March 10, 2013 (UTC)
  2. Since this is clearly meant when Nelliel was an Espada, I'll go here since time and again her battles as an Espada have been shown to have been effortless victories!! SunXia (Chat) 23:23,3/10/2013
  3. I do like both of these women for their intelligence and cunning, and while I would initially give my vote to Harribel, I am actually going to vote in Nelliel's favor. We have seen far more of what Harribel is capable of in her fight against Hitsugaya, Hiyori, and Lisa; but, we have to consider that Nelliel well enough earned her rank as the Tres Espada. While Harribel's attacks are wide and massive, Nelliel could very likely maneuver in within Harribel's guard to press her. Aside from that we know that Nelliel could easily return any cero thrown at her with double the force.--Mtlmn (talk) 02:42, March 11, 2013 (UTC)
  4. I simply have to go with my dear Neliel on this one. Yes Harribel's strength has been proven time and time again, but when you think about it, it's the opposite for Nel. We've only one fight from her and that was against Nnorita (probably butchered it I know), however that fight was a fight to protect Ichigo. If we were to take it back to before she was ambushed and thrown out of Las Noches, we simply don't know enough about her abilities or fighting style past her release form. I'm also sure it goes without saying that Neliel was a lot more ruthless in the beginning so we have to factor that in as well. I don't know if Nel would win hands down, but I do know that she most likely has a ride range of attacks at her disposal.—This unsigned comment is by KingoSwing (talkcontribs) . 5. I'm gonna have to vote for Neliel. If she wasn't able to retain her adult form, I would have voted for Harribel easily, but, as the description said, she is able to. The only reason she wasn't able to defeat Nnoitora was because she had converted back to her child form, and if it weren't for that, she would have won without a doubt. And, as we saw, it took Kenpachi, Kenpachi Zarakito take down Nnoitora. And Kenpachi Zaraki is stronger than Toshiro Hitsugaya.—This unsigned comment is by BleachAndNarutoAreEqual (talkcontribs) . 6. Nelliel's narrow power attacks deeply contrast Harribel's area attacks. Nelliel seems to have much more experience and technique; all we've seen of Harribel is her shooting off power attacks. I would give this fight to the person who has the most control, power is important but as they're both Rank 3 espada, it would make sense that the one with better technique would win: In this case, Nelliel's focused attacks would be better suited for a one on one fight. Harribel's abilities are great area attacks, but against skilled, powerful opponents they lack the ability to penetrate that person's defense. —This unsigned comment is by Crazy Honey Badger (talkcontribs) . 7. The first thing I noticed about Nelliel is, she doesn't like drawing her blade. Its as though each time she does, she's trying to prevent more bloodshed hence I have a feeling that Nelliel's aspect of death is mercy. Having said this, I think she would best Harribel in a battle because of her nature although I feel that the battle itself would be close. -Shishio san
  8. I'm gonna have to go with Nel on this one, because shes awesome and I think she'd beat Harribel anytime, she's alot stronger than people think. --FinalMugetsu (talk) 18:40, March 16, 2013 (UTC)
  9. Going to toss my vote in for Nelliel on this one. She almost beat Nnoitora with no complications. As for Nnoitora saying past Espada don't measure up to the current, I call Bull crap on that. He had a wicked ego. Claimed himself unbeatable and look how that turned out lol. She may have released against an unreleased opponent, but that was to finish it quick. She could have done fine against him unreleased I think assuming she didn't turn into a child. I will agree that Harribel's survival is impressive. But while she may have "fought" against 3 captain class enemies, it wasn't really that much of a full power fight. It was interrupted by Aizen before the fight even got that serious. I think Nelliel has this fight. Maybe not easily, but she has an edge. Soon to be Captain (talk) 06:12, March 17, 2013 (UTC)
  10. I'll take Nelliel. She showed great hand to hand fighting skills. Also, her resurrection technique seemed to be unstoppable. Besides, she just so cute and gorgeous.--Rocconorth (talk) 00:44, March 18, 2013 (UTC)
  11. Nelliel. mostly because harribel was just not as cool or as strong.5th seat yumichika (talk) 01:51, March 18, 2013 (UTC)

Votes for Tier Harribel

  1. We have seen more of Harribel's abilities, and to survive Hitsugaya's strongest Bankai technique is an incredible feat. Nel outclassed Nnoitra, but that's to be expected for an Espada of higher rank to beat a lower numbered one. All attacks we have seen from her have been able to cause severe damage, whether it be destruction of houses, severing people in two, or just mass damage in general. She basically has an arsenal of different techniques, plus she was able to combat 3 opponents, two of which are Visored at the same time. Nel is severely hindered by the fact that she can't maintain her adult form for awhile. --Kamikaze839 (talk) 20:42, March 10, 2013 (UTC)
  2. This is a hard decision i love both of them, but from what i have seen i am going to have to go with Harribel, she survived Hitsugaya strongest Bankai technique, and was able to hold of against 3 captain class shinigami. Nel is strong, no doubt about that it's just the fact that if she can't maintain her adult form for the entire fight Harribel would take advantage of that and finish her of. And i'm going to assume that they both have similar power level's, since they hare both the 3rd Espada, it comes to endurance, and if Nel can´t maintain her adult form it's her lose. Harribel é a vencedora. --IrregularBankai (talk) 22:50, March 10, 2013 (UTC)
  3. While I love Nelliel as a character, Harribel fights really well and has great power that is good long-distance. Also, assuming that her allies might help, they are better than Nelliel's. Her Fraccion (really bad spelling, I know) can form Ayon, which is a great help in battle. These allies, along with her superior speed and power, make her a very strong fighter. If we see more of Nelliel's power, I might change my mind, but that will not be happening soon. TechGenusMaster (talk) 23:20, March 10, 2013 (UTC)
  4. Oooh, this is a tough one for me since I really like them both, but I would have to go with Harribel. Besides the fact that it was stated outright by Nnoitra that the Espada are stronger than when she was the third, Harribel just seems to be a better fighter overall. Granted, we probably haven't seen all that Neliel can dish out but Harribel was capable of fighting a Captain and 2 Visoreds simultaneously and even survived Aizen's attempt to kill her. Additionally, she seems to have a great deal of combat experience even before meeting Aizen. In the end I think Harribel would be victorious.--CiFeR215 (talk) 07:32, March 11, 2013 (UTC)
  5. Gonna have to be completely honest here. While I like Nelliel more as a character, everything would seem to point to Harribel being stronger. At her best, Nelliel was apparently able to take down an unreleased Nnoitra with ease. The speculation regarding the circumstances of her victory is sometimes wild, but I will have to take for granted Nnoitra's statement that the Espada's standards had gone up since Nel's time. In terms of raw power, I have little doubt that Harribel is stronger.--Mohrpheus (Talk) 13:05, March 11, 2013 (UTC)
  6. Simple, Harribel wins. Nnoitra stated the current Espada were stronger than the previous Espada. Harribel is stronger than Nel and it shows.--God|Pray23:00,3/11/2013
  7. I choose Karribel because i like her very much and she is a very strong person. She fight very well with Hitsugaya and his Bankai. In the begining i didn't like her but now she is one of my favourite characters. I love her sword too because is very big and beautifull. And that's why i choose her :). User-Rachid97
  8. First of all dammit Sun, Why? Look, I love both Harribel and Nel as characters, they are both strong, independent women who take no crap from no one. While I am the poster child for the crazy Nel fangirl, as much as it pains me, Harribel definitely has the edge in this "battle." Harribel has a bigger arsenal of attacks to choose from and when you add in Tiburon, Harribel truly is the shark of Hueco Mundo. In theory, there is always some moisture in the air, so when you have an opponent, who in theory has an unlimited energy source, you better prepare yourself. Sure, Nel can use Cero Doble, and when in Gamuza she has Lanzador Verde, but as of now we know nothing else on her release. Harribel can make a threat and has more than enough power to back it up, so I'm giving this one to Harribel.--LemursYou are about to enter the Twlight Zone  03:21,3/13/2013  03:21, March 13, 2013 (UTC)
  9. I'm gonna go with Harribel, even though her fight was with Hitsugaya, whose power was still immature. She still held her own against him and two Visoreds. Also, Nnoitra said that the current Espada were stronger than the previous ones and Harribel's battle prowess seems to support that. Though Nelliel does have a lot of unshown potential, Harribel has displayed her power well so I vote for her.AnimeBear (talk) 16:08, March 13, 2013 (UTC)
  10. Along with everyone else in this column I believe that Halibel would win in this fight. She has shown us that she can easily unleash a fatal attack with even her sealed blade, and can overwhelm 3 captain level shinagami all at once. Though Nel can use the cero doble and seems to be strong, Halibel's power has been shown to succeed over and over when in a tight situation. I believe that the majority of nel's power came from nnoitorra being frightened about fighting her again(Despite his claims of not being afraid). There is no doubt in my mind that Halibel would win in this fight. Ya3at0 (talk) 01:28, March 15, 2013 (UTC)Ya3at0

  12. I'm giving this one to Harribel. Even if you ignore the power difference between past and present 3rd Espadas, Harribel has displayed a lot more abilities in both her base form and her Resurrección form. Arrancar109 (Talk) 08:29, March 16, 2013 (UTC)

Crusade of the Comedy Kings

The overactive father vs. the eccentric shopkeeper. Make your pick, who makes for the better comic relief?

Kisuke Urahara

Votes for Isshin Kurosaki

  1. Isshin has my vote. Both of them are very serious, but Isshin has a more flamboyant nature and even tries lightening up a tense situation. --Kamikaze839 (talk) 20:24, March 18, 2013 (UTC)
  2. Great question! I'll have to vote Isshin. They both make me laugh but Kisuke isn't ALWAYS trying to be funny. I feel like every time Isshin shows up I start smiling. He's had so many lines that come out just so, they have my sides splitting. Kisuke is funny but Isshin always has me rolling. Soon to be Captain (talk) 21:11, March 18, 2013 (UTC)
  3. I had to think a while on this one as these are two of my favorite characters. In the end, there is something about Isshin that just makes me crack up more. The man attacked Aizen by flicking him. That and his constant attacking Ichigo in the mornings give him the edge for me.--God|Pray22:48,3/18/2013
  4. No easy decision, but I'm going with Isshin. Urahara is very funny, but Isshin is my choice because I fail to recall many moments when he was shown and I didn't have a grin on my face or let out a chuckle. Some of his dialogue is just brilliant and his humorous attitude never fails to make me laugh. --Caesarea37 (talk) 01:33, March 19, 2013 (UTC)
  5. I have to go with Isshin on this one. I really like Kisuke but as far as comical relief goes Isshin has been good for that since the very beginning. What really gets me is him and Ichigo going at it. Pure hilarity!--CiFeR215 (talk) 19:52, March 21, 2013 (UTC)
  6. They are both funny but Isshin is funny more of the time. Urahara is usually a more serious character.Videogamep (talk) 03:43, March 22, 2013 (UTC)

Votes for Kisuke Urahara

  1. Both are very funny to watch, but I vote for Kisuke for his variety of comic relief. Isshin's funny moments were funny too, but they got repetitive. --Qazqaz555 21:23, March 18, 2013 (UTC)
  2. While Isshin's moments of comic relief occur a lot more often these days, I find Urahara's to be much funnier, partly because he keep a straight face the entire time.--Xilinoc (talk) 22:42, March 18, 2013 (UTC)
  3. I would vote for Urahara. It is hilarious to see him get bribed by sweets and making funny jokes all of the time. "P.S if you thought this was a murder message, you have no sense of humor". It cracks me up! I like also how Urahara is hilarious with some of the characters, like Yoruichi (forgive my spelling) and even Riruka (who was an enemy). My views might switch if Isshin's past and present attitudes get funnier (he is still funny though!). TechGenusMaster (talk) 01:17, March 19, 2013 (UTC)
  4. Gonna go with Urahara on this. Kisuke provides a more clever, witty form of comedic relief instead of simply being clownish funny. This coupled with his equal amount of serious and mysterious makes the moments when he is comical that much greater and better appreciated instead of it feeling to be a constant thing as it was with Isshin for much of the series.--Mtlmn (talk) 16:48, March 19, 2013 (UTC)
  5. I'd choose Kisuke because he's not always funny but when he is, then he's much funnier because his kind of funny isn't crazy but it's comical and it's less common so when he is funny, it's much better.--Crimsonred13 (talk) 18:29, March 20, 2013 (UTC)
  6. I'm going to go with Kisuke on this one. His laid back personality mixed with his clever humor is just perfect, one of my favorite funny parts is when he was fighting Yammy with the portable gigai. Love that part! But I still think there both funny.Superspartan321 (talk) 02:51, March 21, 2013 (UTC)
  7. —kinda hard choice but i would still vote for Urahara.he's appearence fits better for a comic character too. —This unsigned comment is by Regalo (talkcontribs) . Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
  8. Tough for most, but I'm going to have to say Mr. Hat-&-Clogs. Urahara's got a great sense of humor that has popped up in even the most serious situations. His fight against Yammy and response to Akon in the recent arc are some of the most prime examples. Urahara's got my vote. Arrancar109 (Talk) 06:57, March 22, 2013 (UTC)
  9. I vote mr. Hat and clogs because while isshin is quite enjoyable i believe that when kisuke Is funny he is really funny i mean he uses his wits for funny stuff like "Meet me outside the urahara shop in o200 hours if your thinking this is some kind of crime written in the victims blood then you obviously have no sense of humour" and there are even better moments then that and thats why i vote kisuke.—This unsigned comment is by Jcaliber321 (talkcontribs) . Battle of Master Manipulators

The traitor vs. the dependable disciple. Who is the better Manipulator?

Sōsuke Aizen

Votes for Sōsuke Aizen

  1. Aizen gains the upper hand against Tsukishima in terms of combat, intellect and masteries of deception. True that the Book of the End can exploit one's abilities and effectively counter them in just a snap, and Kyoka Suigetsu actually takes time before someone falls under the Zanpakuto's hypnosis ability. However, Tsukishima lacks the necessary abilities at his disposal and needs his weapon all the time, while Aizen can even use his deceptive prowess without his Zanpakuto's aid to make Tsukushima eventually succumbed to the sword's hypnosis ability and deal the killing blow. Example of it is how Aizen successfully alters Yhwach's perception of time, despite the Vandenreich leader is almost equal in terms of intellect against the former, and Aizen's body completely bound.Hellblazer17 10:26, March 31, 2013 (UTC)
  2. Aizen has his sword at his disposal which would be able to hypnotise tsukishima before he could use book of the end.—This unsigned comment is by Zachary Peneranda (talkcontribs) . Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
  3. Definitely Aizen. With Kyōka Suigetsu to perform flawless illusions along with his intellect, no one would be a better manipulator than Aizen. To command two other Shinigami captains and to fool every single person in Soul Society, Aizen is the master manipulator in Bleach. --Qazqaz555 19:25, March 26, 2013 (UTC)
  4. Aizen will be the one, he is best at deceiving people with his mind and zanpakato.Sushi4love (talk) 06:28, March 31, 2013 (UTC)
  5. This one is a no brainer for me. Aizen hands down! He doesn't mess with peoples memories he just uses his words and powers of Mindbending to bend their actions to his will. Its alllll acording to plan. Hundreds of years spent, planning, toying with people. His plans are so elaborate and most of them seem to come off without a hitch! (except that whole "kill Spirit King" thing lol). Tsukishima may have a really wicked power, but he is too short sighted. Not to mention he wasn't even the one who came up with the plan. The whole scheme was Ginjo's plan from the start. Aizen works at the head of his ship and answers to no one. Imagine the two people's ability to manipulate WITHOUT Aizen having Kyoka Suigetsu and Tsukishima without his Book of the End ability. Sure Aizen would have had a hell of a time pulling off almost ALL of his tricks to fool the Soul Society. But think of the following he gathered. He convinced Kaname, Gin (Even though Gin technically was staying close to kill him, notice he still did Aizen's bidding while he waited for an opening), and he created an army of Arrancar, and kept them inline without the use of Kyoka Suigetsu. Who did Tsukishima gather to follow him? Shishigawara... lol. Aizen fooled countless into thinking he was a nice guy for hundreds of years. Needed no powers, just time to forge a good reputation. Without book of the end Tsukishima couldn't even hold a candle to the mighty blaze of Lord Aizen! Soon to be Captain (talk) 21:06, March 26, 2013 (UTC)
  6. Easy - Aizen. While both of them have scary special powers, Aizen also has his genius intelect. While Tsukishima relies on his Book of the End, Aizen doesn't need Kyouka Suigetsu to manipulate someone - Kaname was immune to it and he still was Aizen's most faithful underling.Datgunitkilla (talk) 09:28, March 27, 2013 (UTC)
  7. I cannot in good conscience say Tsukishima was a bad manipulator, but Aizen's plans were far better thought out, and for that matter, better executed. Tsukishima was good, but not on his own. He needed Ginjo's help in order to bring XCution's plans to fruition. Aizen worked for no one, and used everyone he could find as pawns, whether they were willing or not (from the Espada to Shinji and Kisuke, and even Momo). He was the textbook example of a chessmaster. Schiffy (Speak to meWhat I've done) 13:42, March 27, 2013 (UTC)
  8. well, i ll go with aizen for this one. i think he s the better manipulator since he managed to trick the whole gotei 13. he has pretty awesome plans and has the power of his zanpaktou to trick people except for shinji of course. —This unsigned comment is by Bankai007 (talkcontribs) 16:29, 27 March 2013. Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
  9. While Aizen to some extent has come across as being too good at what he does, his ability to manipulate through his charm is why he gets my vote. The man very easily could sway those under his command with his "kindness" as seen most notably with Momo Hinamori who was blindly devoted to Aizen to the extent of believing his betrayal was a lie and that Gin Ichimaru was somehow manipulating Aizen.--Mtlmn (talk) 17:08, March 27, 2013 (UTC)
  10. I would vote for Aizen here, simply because with Aizen's Zanpakuto, it is possible for the person under the illusion to know they are being hypnotized, but he uses that to his advantage, creating illusions within illusions, which in my opinion is a masterful manipulation in itself Sicarius001 (talk) 05:50, March 28, 2013 (UTC)
  11. I'm going to vote Aizen. Zanpakuto aside, Aizen is master of provocation. He easily causes people to lose their cool, and he totally destroys Toshiro. He could have escaped in many ways, but he chose the way that would make Toshiro attack out of rage, thus opening his biggest weakness. I just... I think Aizen's ability to talk anyone into doing this is better than Tsukishmia. --TDG.gif (Talk) 09:23, March 29, 2013 (UTC)
  12. Aizen is definately better. Tsukishima has his memory manipulation but is not a leader and was outsmarted by Byakuya. Aizen is a genius who outsmarted almost everyone in the Soul Society using both his Zanpakutō and his mind.--Videogamep Talk 01:57, March 30, 2013 (UTC)
  13. My vote goes without a doubt to Aizen Sosuke. Aizen an evil genious who spent almost 200 years plotting to destroy all the while pretending to be an all to dutiful shinigami and made a fool of whole of Soul Society. Such a well dangerous plan was perfectly executed only due the leadership of Aizen. He used everyone in such a way that they did not know that they were being used until their part in his plan was not finished. I am no Aizen fan but one has to admit Aizen's manipulative skills.--Bleachcrazy611 (talk) 16:54, March 30, 2013 (UTC)
  14. Despite his failure and downfall at the hands of Ichigo, Aizen's Zanpakuto can manipulate all five senses, lest we forget. Tsukishima was pretty interesting as his sword was able to cut through everything and his fullbring ignored the laws of science and implanted Tsukishima's presence within other lives. However, Aizen not only managed to deceive the entire soul society but defeated the king of Hueco Mundo effortlessly. Tsukishima's Book of End gave him the upper hand in knowledge but Aizen just owned him in pure horsepower and strength. Besides, Aizen's power is more versatile, giving him more options and ways to manipulate which is a huge factor. If you were to put Tsukishima against Aizen's final form, in a one-on-one match, the latter would triumph easily. Tsukishima may be able to manipulate people's lives and memories, but Aizen is heartless and didn't hesitate to impale Ichimaru. Also, Tsukishima died at the hands of Byakuya Kuchiki but I presume Aizen would not have lost so easily to the 6th squad captain. —This unsigned comment is by Aizenisadouchebag (talkcontribs) . Votes for Shūkurō Tsukishima

  1. I'm going to go for Tsukishima purely because of what he did to everyone, as the baddie he was one of the only interesting powers in the Fullbring Arc, the other being Orihime's new, ignored technique!! We actually seen Ichigo panic and it was definitely the creepiest and scariest scenes, much better than Aizen and his trying to kiss Ichigo scenes while trying to remain scary!! SunXia (Chat) 19:58,3/26/2013
  2. I would vote for Tsukishima here. You can avoid Aizen's ability just by not looking at his blade. Tsukishima, on the other hand, can use Bringer Light to get around his opponents and cut through anything with his Book of the End. He also takes a more phycological approach to manipulate his opponents. He even makes them his allies when he feels like doing so. He also begins to make his opponents lose or question their sanity, which is something Aizen's blade can not do. I can not say either Aizen or Tsukishima is better with words and deception, as they both excel here. Tsukishima's blade gives him the edge here. While it is not a fight, just by Tsukishima's blade cutting Aizen's, he would know its tricks (only assuming hypnosis has not occurred yet). TechGenusMaster (talk) 20:09, March 26, 2013 (UTC)
  3. It\ think tsukishima is the better manipulaitor based entirely on the fact that Aizen's top allies, the espada, were not completly loyal to him. for example, the 5th espada (i forgot his name) was ready to murder a whole colony of hollows against aizen's orders and grimmjow attacked the shinigami stationed in karakura town again, against aizen wishes user:god of nothing 19:59, March 27, 2013 (IST)
  4. Tsukishima, unlike Aizen, he managed to manipulate the emotions and mental stability of Ichigo, and that kind of manipulation often leaves the greatest damage, and unlike Aizen's abilities which can control what people perceive, Tsukishima can use his ability on you and you won't even know it, you would believe that what he wants you to believe has always been the case. Kamikaze839 (Talk To Me!!) 10:00PM EST 3/29/2013
  5. At manipulating, Tsukishima would have an edge over Aizen despite Aizen's mastery over provocation and Kyoka Suigetsu. Though Aizen could manipulate all 5 senses, Tsukishima can manipulate memories and insert his very existence into someone's memory, breaking them. Manipulating senses wouldn't matter if your memory is altered unless you're as cold as Byakuya that could negate feelings, then you could counter his Book of the End. KuroiHonoo

Battle of Potential

The narcissistic 5th Seat vs. the lazy Lieutenant.

Who is more likely to receive Bankai?

Yumichika Ayasegawa

Votes for Yumichika Ayasegawa

  1. I'm gonna go with Yumichika here. While Rangiku might have the more interesting Bankai, her Zanpakutō spirit is very stubborn and hard to get along with. If Yumichika could get past the whole "I can only use this name because my blade is a Kidō-type" thing and please his Zanpakutō spirit more, he'd actually have a pretty good chance of attaining Bankai.--Xilinoc (talk) 01:40, April 2, 2013 (UTC)
  2. I casted a little too early here. Now, I am voting for Yumichaka. His Shikai seems to be the most likely to continue evolving, as his ability seems like it could easily have a Bankai. Rangiku's seems too basic and that it would be hard to see her exert herself enough to reach Bankai. Yumichaka seems like a hard worker and like he enjoys to fight- he is in 11th division! TechGenusMaster (talk) 02:09, April 2, 2013 (UTC)
  3. I choose Yumichika; he's as strong as most of the leiutenants by all accounts, and I feel thematically his sword can be more easily developed into a Bankai than Rangiku's, especially if he stops hiding his true power. Even then, I'd say he's slightly stronger than Rangiku. Personality wise too, I think he'll be more capable of learning it, if only to act as Ikkaku's foil even more. TomServo101 (Talk) 17:28, April 3, 2013 (UTC)
  4. Tough decision, actually. They both have very obvious, yet very thick barriers that I feel would keep them from achieving Bankai. However, I feel Yumichika is the victor. The reason is because, even though he feels his kido zanpakuto makes him an odd man out because of his division, I think it's more likely he'll realize that achieving a kido Bankai would be far more useful and division 11 worthy than sticking to a weaker shikai for the sake of keeping up appearances. Not only that, I feel like his zanpakuto has more 'room' for a bankai. It's harder to imagine a Bankai version of Rangiku's zanpakuto, likely because of the inherent simplicity of her ability. If anything, the best I can think of is a more 'extreme' version of her Shikai, like with Byakuya.. which is boring.--Raddok (talk) 01:59, April 4, 2013 (UTC)
  5. While she may be a Lieutenant, Rangiku doesn't seem to be all that interested in learning Bankai, or ever becoming a Captain for that matter. That aside, Yumichika, despite being a 5th seat, is stronger than Rangiku, he just needs to be less stubborn when it comes to Ruri'iro Kujaku's power. He's well respected in his division, and especially so by Kenpachi and Ikkaku, so I doubt he'd be banished from Squad 11 just for having a Kido-type Zanpakuto. If he can get past that one roadblock, achieving Bankai would be fairly easy for him. Schiffy (Speak to me|What I've done) 02:30, April 4, 2013 (UTC)
  6. Simply for plot, I would go with Yumichika, why would Kubo take a 5th seat, give him mysterious amazing abilities and not expand on it further? Yumichika would be much more plot satisfying, as he could potentially gain an amazing, if quirky, Bankai, while Rangiku would propably gain a grey Senbonzakura Kageyoshi. Plus,Rui'iro Kujaku absorbs spiritual pressure, so would be perfect against the Vandenreich, plus unexpected enough (by the Quincies) that it would work well. Sicarius001 (talk) 07:24, April 4, 2013 (UTC)
  7. I'm voting for Yumichika. For one he has a more useful shikai. We already have one senbonzakura, to me Rangiku's just looks like a more manly version of it. That and she just seems to lazy and unwilling to work with her Zanpakuto at all. Granted Yumichika does not agree with his Zanpakuto but, look at his relationship with Ikkaku. To me it seems he would be more willing to work in the future after they deal with their disagreements. Loveless_Loner(talk) 09:59, April 5, 2013 (CST)
  8. My vote goes to Yumichika. If he wasn't so caught up in the fact that his Zanpakuto is Kido-based and stopped hiding Ruri'iro Kujaku's true power, he more than likely would've already reached Bankai. Besides, Ikkaku has a Bankai and he's still in Eleventh Squad . . . why not Yumichika? InvertedChildsPlay (talk) 10:45, April 5, 2013 (CST)
  9. i'm gonna vote for Yumihika.even though he's fifth deat he's no less than vice captain.and it was stated by Gin that something was stolen from Rangiku by Aizen and it was probably used for hogyoku so it seems that Rangiku an't pull off her true potential.that's why i would give more hane to Yumihika.though i don't think he's gonna get any eitherways —This unsigned comment is by Regalo (talkcontribs) 11:18, 6 April 2013. Votes for Rangiku Matsumoto

  1. Rangiku, even though her resolve to maintain herself isn't as defined as Yumichika, she is much smarter and can be more dedicated to her job if she puts her mind to it. Kamikaze839 (Talk To Me!!) 10:25PM EST 4/1/2013
  2. Going with Rangiku on this. Both contenders have issues to get over with Yumichika having to get past his vanity and the strict mindset of the Eleventh Division while Rangiku must get past laziness and her zanpakuto's stubborn nature; but, Rangiku certainly has a much better chance. Rangiku, while at times lazy and whiny, is by far a hard worker and compassionate about what she does. In her I see a future captain and would be interested in seeing just what her potential bankai could be. --Mtlmn (talk) 02:10, April 2, 2013 (UTC)
  3. I choose Rangiku because even though she may be lazy, lazy people can be surprising so I think she's most likely to achieve bankai due to the sheer fact that she's more likely to surprise me.--Crimsonred13 (talk) 16:38, April 2, 2013 (UTC)
  4. Rangiku would care more about getting Bankai. Yumichika's would probably be kidō so he would just hide it and would have no reason to obtain Bankai in the first place.—This unsigned comment is by Videogamep (talkcontribs) . Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
  5. My vote goes absolutely for Rangiku. Even if she is lazy, she can be serious when she must and has a great potential to achieve Bankai. She is more skilled and powerful than Yumichika, and is a Lieutenant after all.--BlackMamba77 (talk) 15:19, April 3, 2013 (UTC)
  6. A tough one, however I vote for Rangiku. Yumichika is strong there is no denying that. In fact he is just as strong as a lieutenant. But to achive bankai you have to go through rigorous training with your Zanpakutō and sort of harmonize with it. Haineko is stubborn sure, but Rangiku is working with her Zanpakutō over time and gaining experience with her abilities. Yumichika hides his true power and calls his Zanpakutō Fuji Kujaku instead of the proper Ruri'iro Kujaku, which it HATES. Not only is he hiding his true abilities and gaining little control/mastery over them. But he is also stirring up trouble with his Zanpakutō by calling a name it hates. It would be like a friend calling you a harsh name. You wouldn't want to be friends with someone like that. I mean he would rather DIE than have someone from his squad see his Zanpakutō's true power and think he is weak. Rangiku is definitely more in tune with her abilities. Soon to be Captain (talk) 23:47, April 4, 2013 (UTC)
  7. I completely agree with 'Soon to be Captain'.   EpaXtalk   03:09, April 6, 2013 (UTC)
  8. My vote goes to Rangiku. I would imagine if Yumichika got a bankai it would just be another power he keeps hidden away from everyone, possibly because he'd want to stay in Zaraki's squad. Add in the fact that even with a bankai he'd still be in his captain's shadow makes the idea less likely as he would still be eclipsed by his higher officer. Rangiku on the other hand has had many hardships: being a victim of one of Aizen's experiments, losing her first captain, and losing her closest friend. Add in the fact that her captain's power is now crippled I'd say it's high time for her to rise from these ashes and show everyone what she is truly capable of. I also consider laziness to be a much easier roadblock to overcome than pride and being hated by your zanpaktou, considering that Kyoraku was capable of doing so. Battle of Divisions

The Division of Law and Order vs The Division of Friendship and Compassion.

Which Division would you rather serve under?

6th Division

Votes for 6th Division

  1. While I love Rangkiku's character and light mood, there is a certain enjoyment to being in a division with order, handwork, and dedicated soldiers. I think Renji Abarai would make a good sparring partner, and I like Byakuya's stern personality. Not to mention the Kuchiki family is a Noble Clan! With all of the hard work and interesting background that lies within 6th division, I can guarantee to never be bored! TechGenusMaster (talk) 02:42, April 7, 2013 (UTC)
  2. i'll pick squad six because byakuya would be a great captain. Renji would probaly give some great advice.—This unsigned comment is by Kevinbankai (talkcontribs) . Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
  3. The 10th Division seems too laid back. The captain's a kid who spams Bankai, and the lieutenant is a lazy drunk. If I was a Shinigami, I would try to work hard and be useful, not sit around and do nothing. That would gain you no respect. I would also feel more at ease fighting alongside Renji and Byakuya rather than Hitsugaya and Rangiku. The 6th Division would be a better choice for me. --Qazqaz555 20:34, April 8, 2013 (UTC)
  4. i'll go along with 6th division. if you want to be strong you'd better with stronger and more disiplined one. 10th division maybe more funny but if you want fun you can go there get it and come back resume real training—This unsigned comment is by Regalo (talkcontribs) . 5. I think that the strict discipline of the 6th division would work more for me then the laidback-ness of the 10th division.Olzinn (talk) 19:57, April 9, 2013 (UTC)
  6. I'll go with 6th Division considering that it has a more stable enviorment in addition both Captain Kuchiki and Lieutenant Abarai can use Bankai which shows how dedicated they are in there work , plus I could always have a drink with Rangiku once in a while. Considering that if I was in the 10th Division I probably be drunk most of the time.Taoisac
  7. 6th Division for me all the way. The basis of any prosperous and successful society is its laws and their enforcement. Kuchiki taicho and 6th Division is the embodiment of that statement. Rules and disciplines are utmost necessary so in my opinion 6th squad is the better one for me. Although Kuchiki taichou may be strict but that should be the proper way of a captain.--Bleachcrazy611 (talk) 16:36, April 11, 2013 (UTC)
  8. Both Byakuya and Renji have achieved Bankai, which gives them overwhelming strength on the battlefield. Also, the 6th division is very organized and effective.--Nadare (talk) 08:20, April 13, 2013 (UTC)
  9. This is a rough one as well. My personality would land me in the 10th squad no doubt. Actually, if anything, I'd be in the 13 squad. However I vote the 6th squad. I would love to seek new abilities and train with a good group. I feel like it would be easier in the 6th squad without the temptation of drinking and being lazy with Rangiku lol. Also I would like to get in good with the Kuchiki family so maybe I could meet Rukia! <3 O_O Soon to be Captain (talk) 18:04, April 13, 2013 (UTC)

Votes for 10th Division

  1. Hitsugaya is a smart captain and very dedicated to his job, so he would be a good captain to work under. Rangiku can help people unwind. And I like a division that emphasizes friendship. It seems that, save for Rangiku's laziness, everything runs smoothly in the Division. Kamikaze839 (Talk To Me!!) 10:37 PM EST 4/6/2013
  2. Tough choice. While impressing Captain Kuchiki would certainly be tough, I do feel that if you've earned his respect or at least his acknowledgement you would go far; but, there is more room for growth with 10th Division. Captain Hitsugaya would likely be the same as Captain Kuchiki, but the somewhat lighter mood thanks to Rangiku would provide better balance (although my personality would put me with 6th, but going with 10th on this vote).--Mtlmn (talk) 04:44, April 7, 2013 (UTC)
  3. I'm going with Squad 10 here, I love the laid back atmosphere, but everyone still gets done what they need to do. Hitsuguya would be a good captain to serve under, and Rangiku's antics would be entertaining. Sicarius001 (talk) 07:10, April 7, 2013 (UTC)
  4. Oh my. This is by far the best battle here and the toughest decision I have to make. These two divisions are my favorite divisions, their two captains are my favorite characters, and their two lieutenants are just both amazing. I've been thinking for a long time and hardly decided that I'd prefer to be in 10th Division rather than in 6th Division. I truly admire Byakuya's captaincy, his strict rules and law and is truly nice, but I don't think I could follow those orders forever and that I could fit well in Rokubantai. Hitsugaya is also very serious, but also nice and he knows what fun is (having Rangiku around). He is a powerful captain and a good leader, so I see myself in 10th Division rather than in 6th Division.—This unsigned comment is by BlackMamba77 (talkcontribs) . Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
  5. Kuchiki seems like he's be a harsh taskmaster as a captain. If I worked under him, I don't think I'd have any chance of enjoying my job, unless if Renji offered to take me out for a drink every once in a while. Hitsugaya is just a little more down to earth, and isn't so stubborn when it comes to his own vs. someone else's judgement. Rangiku also seems like she'd be a fun superior, and I'd still get those drinks. Schiffy (Speak to me|What I've done) 23:57, April 7, 2013 (UTC)
  6. I would want to have hitsaguya as my captain baecause laid back other than byakuya who is very strict and not very nice he needs to eat some cookies! Also Rangiku Matsumoto is hot even though I admire Renji and am just like him I could never get along with byakuya and also side note that byakuya is still as freakin' awsome as Hitsaguya but I just don't like him—This unsigned comment is by Emer257 (talkcontribs) . Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
  7. I will choose Hitsugaya for my captain. He is smart an strong. Not only Hitsugaya, Rangiku is a great shinigami. Byakuya (6 division) is a very serious man. I don't like a too serious captain, at least can he smile a bit? Hitsugaya is very awsome.—This unsigned comment is by Ichikawa3 (talkcontribs) . Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
  8. Even though I like having rules to follow, I also like having a boss who doesn't look down on me. On top of that, Hitsugaya, while the target of fangirls the world over, has genuine compassion. Not saying that Byakuya doesn't, but he's...well, very strict with his emotions. The two choices are very close, but overall I prefer the 10th Division.--Xilinoc (talk) 19:44, April 13, 2013 (UTC)

Tatsuki Arisawa

Votes for Tatsuki Arisawa

  1. I'll have to go with Tatsuki. while Keigo is pretty chill, Tatsuki can actually handle herself in a fight, and is more open to talking to others about their feelings and whatnot than Keigo is.--Xilinoc (talk) 01:09, April 14, 2013 (UTC)

  4. No contest, Tatsuki. Her martial arts know-how, level-head, and dedication to her friendships makes her far more enjoyable and reliable than someone who is simply a clown.--Mtlmn (talk) 03:59, April 14, 2013 (UTC)
  5. Tatsuki all the way. Not only she'd beat anybody who would threaten me, she is also loyal and mature. Best friend. Period.--Nadare (talk) 09:05, April 14, 2013 (UTC)
  6. Keigo's cool and all, but I'd start to get annoyed if I hung around him too long. I mean, even Ichigo and Mizuiro seem to have had enough of him. Tatsuki would be much more of an interesting person to be friends with, and she's a badass, but that's a different story. Schiffy (Speak to me|What I've done) 18:31, April 14, 2013 (UTC)
  7. Tatsuki is much more reliable than Keigo. Sure, he is silly and all, but he gets annoying after a while. If I had to work on a project with either of them, I would not choose Keigo. He would mess everything up. --Qazqaz555 20:43, April 15, 2013 (UTC)
  8. I can't see Keigo as a my friend he probably get in my nerves and be forced to punch him or something. Unlike Tatsuki, she can handle any situation that comes her way. However I am surprised that no one wanted to be friends with Tatsuki just to get to Orihime which would be mistake, considering that you might get yourself beat up.-User:Taoisac
  9. This question had me stumped. I wasn't going to vote at first because I like them both. I would enjoy having both as friends. Since I can't vote for both i'm tossing my hat in for Tatsuki. I enjoy the company of females, especially when they're toughies like Tatsuki. Also I could act the fool like pervy Kon and she would put me in my place. Sounds like a barrel of laughs. But both would make wicked friends :D Soon to be Captain (talk) 21:14, April 20, 2013 (UTC)

  4. Keigo seems like a humorous and enjoyable friend. I haven't got much against Tatsuki but she's overprotective and frankly, has no class. Battle of the Combat Speed

The Two-Hit Killer vs. The Fastest Bankai

This battle was suggested by KuroAshi98 (Modified to balance out the fight better)

Which Zanpakutō kills faster?

Shinsō/Kamishini no Yari

Votes for Suzumebachi/Jakuhō Raikōben

  1. I'm going with the Shikai and Bankai of Suzumebachi here. Even though Gin's Shinsō moves much faster, it isn't guarunteed to kill someone upon contact, while Suzumebachi (albeit in two hits) completely destroys the victim's body. As for Bankai, while Kamishini no Yari moves even faster and can poison someone, Jakuhō Raikōben is a thermonuclear warhed. That doesn't exactly dish out a slow death. Overall, when combined with Sūi-Féng's ridiculous speed, allowing her to speed up her attacks immensely, I'd say Suzumebachi wins the fight.--Xilinoc (talk) 04:45, April 28, 2013 (UTC)
  2. I'm going for Suzumebachi and it's bankai here. Shinso itself moves really fast, but Soifon's speed is tremendous. I think it is lot harder to avoid being stabbed with Suzumebachi then Shinso (both Hitsugaya and Ichigo avoided it successfully). Alse it takes only two strikes for Suzumebachi to kill while Shinso is still just a sword. When it comes to bankai they are both terrifying. --Night486 (talk) 10:25, April 28, 2013 (UTC)
  3. Suzemebachi is hard to counter since Soifon moves so fast, as well as its size, so the kill will come quicker due to extreme dificulty in dodging/blocking it. Only Yoruichi has been shown to be able to avoid it and she still had trouble. The bankai version causes a big explosion that can swallow up and quickly obliterate anyone in the blast, assuming they don't use cheap time manipulation tricks. Kamikaze839 (Talk To Me!!) 9:47 PM EST 4/30/2013
  4. Shinso may be fast, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's the quickest to kill. It could be an hour before the poor person dies. However, Soifon's Suzemebachi could kill within two seconds KiyoriIshida

Votes for Shinsō/Kamishini no Yari

  1. I'm going to have to go with Gin's on this one. On it's own, Suzumebachi isn't exactly fast, even though it is deadly. Coupled with Soi Fon's speed, it's very fast, but not on it's own. Also, Suzumebachi barely can do anything if the two attacks aren't in the same place, as was proven in the fight against Yoruichi early on. And not to mention that Jakuho Raikoben is extremely flashy and very visible. Shinso is naturally fast, and doesn't rely on it's wielder's speed. Kamishini no Yari is even more so. On speed alone, the ex-3rd division captain's Zanpakuto would win. Schiffy (Speak to me|What I've done) 02:22, April 28, 2013 (UTC)
  2. I'm going with Gin's Zanpakuto for this one. When facing Sui Feng, you can generally evade being attacked by her Shikai. Even if you were hit, you still would have a second chance (and if you have enough Reiatsu you can completely avoid her ability). Gin's Shikai is much harder to evade as it is much more unexpected, as evident by Hitsugaya's fight with him. Sui Feng's Bankai is basically a one time use; if you dodge it, you're set; not to mention you can see it coming because it takes time to set up. Gin's Bankai is so fast that even Ichigo, in his Bankai form, was unable to keep up with its speed; not to mention he can use it effortlessly over and over again.   EpaXtalk   03:09, April 28, 2013 (UTC)
  3. A Wakizashi that can extend instantaneously to 13km? The speed of a short sword with the sheer range provided means the fastest kill. If Gin aimed for the throat, his fight would be over instantly. Suzumebachi by itself is too slow, and leans on Soi Fon's speed to be useful. Shinso could be used by anyone and still be impossibly fast. Shinso wins hands down. Sicarius001 (talk) 08:04, April 28, 2013 (UTC)
  4. Soifon's Zanpakuto isn't fast, it's rather deadly. Gin's Zanpakuto is both. He slashed through Hiyori in nanoseconds, before she even had a time to react. My vote here goes for Gin as his Zanpakuto can kill in just one fast move, while Soifon's in two moves if she manages to hit in the same place twice.--BlackMamba77 (talk) 09:10, April 28, 2013 (UTC)
  5. i gotta vote for Gin. he stated himself that he had fastest zanpakuto. Soi Fon's zanpakuto can be countered by building enough reiatsu by Aizen.if it won't be able to overwhelm target's reiatsu it won't have any effect. and it requires two hits. while Gin is much more skilled and on higher level than her(in my opinion) Regalo (talk) 10:05, April 28, 2013 (UTC)
  6. In terms of pure lethality, Suzumebachi might when, but Ichimaru's Kamishini no Yari, the God-Slaying Spear, is far faster, while still maintaining power. Suzumebachi relies too much on Soi Fon's speed, and Jakuhō Raikōben is a one-shot effect. Shinsō is a far more effective and speedy killer. RurouniSmartass (talk)
  7. Kamishini no Yari takes the victory on this, the fact that it can extend at such high speeds proves to be better, than the capability of the one-hit kill that Jakuhō Raikōben, in this battle of time to kill. Jakuhō Raikōben just has to many flaws it takes time to fire and if the missile misses the target it game over, while with Kamishini no Yari if you miss the target you just have to try again, and with Korose it proves to be one of the deadliest Zanpakutō there is. IrregularBankai
  8. Kamishini no Yari is better since it moves as fast or faster than Sui Feng and can kill with just one hit instead of two. Videogamep Talk 18:47, April 28, 2013 (UTC)
  9. I am going with Gin's Zanpakutō this time. It's got good speed, as well as a very long distance. Also, it is used simply to cut people. Sui Feng's Zanpakutō is slow, takes two hits to kill, and her Bankai is not always accurate. Also, her "two-hit kill" is very flawed- it does not work on people with very high Spiritual Pressure (Aizen, for example). Gin's Bankai has a "one-hit kill" that most likely could not get cancelled out by a high Spiritual Presure. Vizor TechGenusMasterWA01 (Message Me)   00:47, April 29, 2013 (UTC)
  10. Easy decision. "Death in Two Steps" has shown to be inefficient, and Gin's Shikai or Bankai could kill someone in one step. --Qazqaz555 01:12, April 30, 2013 (UTC)
  11. One-hit kill versus Two-hit kill, i think the decision is very easy. Suzumebachi has many flaws. for example it doesn't work on people with high reiatsu, if you figure out the technique then all you have to do to survive is not get hit twice in the same spot. after the first hit the next move is predictable. while Shinso can get you and you won't know what hit you. --Bleachcrazy611 (talk) 16:35, April 30, 2013 (UTC)
  12. The speed of Kamishini no Yari was greatly underplayed during Gin and Ichigo's fight (though we know Gin wasn't actually trying to kill Ichigo). The instant that Butō Renjin was activated, an arc in front of Gin became completely filled with blades. For the sake of plot it was portrayed almost as a cero-like beam that Ichigo managed to escape from, but this technique actually consists of hundreds of extension/retraction cycles that should impale the target numerous times before they even realize what is happening. Even the target isn't instakilled, surely they took at least one hit. One word: Korose. While Suzumebachi may kill quickly, it requires hitting twice in the same spot, from melee range. It has also been proven ineffective against stronger opponents. Meanwhile, Kamishini no Yari can effectively instakill from a large range if aimed properly (or in the case of Butō Renjin, little aiming is required at all). If it doesn't kill, but at least goes through the target, Korose can then vaporize them. Even better, Korose was shown to be effective on targets with much stronger reiatsu. The "God-Killing Spear" truly lives up to its name. 19:38, May 2, 2013 (UTC)
  13. Going to vote for Gin's here, No contest. Gin's ability is so fast it can catch almost anyone off guard. one hit from him and his shard is stuck inside, merely waiting for his command to kill. Soifon's ability is fast. And in bankai form a real killer. But if she does MISS, then the wear and tear on her body is so much. Gin can just keep going. Battle of the Sidekicks

The Quincy vs. The Healer

Who is the better sidekick?

Uryū Ishida

Votes for Uryū Ishida

  1. i go for Uryuu. not mention he's stronger and more helpful, Orihime is too soft and helpless. she's better in getting in your way rather than help you. forget that, she might as well heal your opponent instead of you with her sick kindness which isn't normal any more. and on top of that she's one of the most annoying characters from all time anime for me together with Sakura from Naruto so i'll vote for Ishida Regalo (talk) 09:53, May 5, 2013 (UTC)
  2. Of course I'll vote for Uryu. He's a powerful Quincy and I feel sorry that Kubo didn't focus more on him, but chose stupid Orihime to be a major support to Ichigo. Yes, Orihime has a great healing abilities, but she's just very annoying and healing is all she can do. She's very soft and innocent, as well as being terribly annoying and stupid. Sorry for these rude comments, but I just think that Uryu is the way better sidekick than Orihime.--BlackMamba77 (talk) 12:37, May 5, 2013 (UTC)
  3. Uryū, he knows what he's doing a lot of the time and is very helpful to Ichigo, unlike Orihime who seems to forget that she has really powerful healing abilities when Ichigo gets hurt. Kamikaze839 (Talk To Me!!) 11:00 AM EST 5/5/2013
  4. As a general rule of thumb, Sidekicks generally compliment their partners abilities and cover their weaknesses, which for Ichigo is general strategy and rapid-fire ranged attacks, both of which are Uryu's specialty, making him the ideal Robin for Ichigo. Orihime is more like Ichigo's Alfred, who simply patches him up and sits at the back. Sicarius001 (talk) 15:12, May 5, 2013 (UTC)
  5. Uryū for sure. If I had him as a sidekick, I know he'd watch my back and I'd watch his. If it was Orihime...this is how one battle would go: Orihime would stand on the sidelines doing nothing while somebody kicked my ass, completely forgetting her offensive, shielding and healing abilities, I would die and she'd cry. Plus, I'd end up strangling her if she survived because she is so damn annoying, Which is why I would choose Uryū, because neither of us would die because he actually knows what he's doing and I wouldn't kill him - Kiyori
  6. Uryuu. Well, because he is always there when he is needed, but he also knows when he is not. I like that in him.—This unsigned comment is by Jirouchan (talkcontribs) . Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
  7. I would say Uryū as well because Inoue is often useless. You can see when Ichigo fought against Ulquiorra and was killed. Inoue thought she couldn´t heal Ichigo so her powers were weakened and she couldn´t revive him while Uryū risked his life so that she could heal Ichigo. Uryū even went against Hollow Ichigo because he knew the real Ichigo didn´t want to do something like slaying an half-dead Ulquiorra.—This unsigned comment is by Raijin6 (talkcontribs) . Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
  8. Going to vote for Uryu. Both would make good partners given their current powers, Orihime has gotten a heck of a lot more stronger and confident in herself. Uryu is my choice because of his mind and ability to work out a battle 2 or 3 steps ahead. Orihime may be stronger now, but say if we went up against an opponent like Aizen or Ulquiorra? She would be crippled. Her healing is nice but not enough in a battle situation. Plus, I foresee a LOT of improvement coming from Uryu given the quincey theme to the new arc. Soon to be Captain (talk) 13:23, May 11, 2013 (UTC)

Votes for Orihime Inoue

  1. Orihime on this one. Uryu is not really much of a sidekick as he's more of a friendly rival to Ichigo.--Mtlmn (talk) 05:52, May 5, 2013 (UTC)
  2. well i wouldn't say sidekick but i vote for orhime. she is very reliable especially her healing technique and assists kurosaki when needed —This unsigned comment is by Bankai007 (talkcontribs) . Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
  3. Since the 17 month timeskip, Orihime's gotten alot stronger, so my vote goes to her. Besides, Uryu's not really a sidekick. He has no interest in being second to Ichigo, he's always trying to prove himself better. Schiffy (Speak to me|What I've done) 04:18, May 6, 2013 (UTC)
  4. I like both of them.... so it really is a hard call, but I'm gonna have to go with orihime. I mean, I'd like having uryu's long range capabilities on my team, being that ichigo is solely a short and mid range fighter. But truly, I believe that the best offense is a good defense. And let's face it, Orihime's ability to heal anything and everything is a very good defense. get hurt, find a stand-in, get healed, keep fighting. so Orihime get's my vote on this one. Uraharattack (talk) 00:14, May 7, 2013 (UTC)
  5. I think that i will go with orihime this time since she ishida is mainly an attack-type, which means that in a case when ichigo is down he cant do anything but fight the enemy on his own which (in most cases), he cannot do. it was like that with the menos, and then with ulquiorra, and then with ginjo. meanwhile, inoue can heal ichigo and guard him while hes down, and make sure that ichigo doesnt go down. remember that while training with ginjo, ichigo wasnt able to get a hit until he completed his fullbring, while inoue easly got him with santenkosshun. Whose Fullbring is better in a battle?

Jackie Tristan

Votes for Yukio Hans Vorarlberna

  1. Going to vote for Yukio here. He has much more he can do to counter Jackie's Dirty Boots. Let me point out the obvious point in the fact that Yukio can make his own dimensions and could easily just lock her in a dimension and keep her there until she died of starvation. Or he could lock her up, and create all sorts of nasty things to fight her. She would get worn down and with no way out then she would get exhausted to the point of breakdown. Now lets say that Yukio CAN'T lock her away from him and he needs to be in the same dimension to make it more fair. In that case he could just create a clean dimension. Her power derives from her boots getting dirty. If her boots don't get dirty, her power won't increase, then what chance does she stand? Yukio could create any number of things. Really the only limit to what he can create in his dimensions is what he can think up. ALLLSOOO lets say that SOME HOW Jackie can break through the dimensions she is locked away in (Which may be rough on her. Stronger characters than her were stuck when it came to Yukio's power.) Yukio could always lock himself away and keep building dimensions she would have to go through again and again. Her abilities are quite powerful, i'll give her that. But compared to the complex powers of Yukio's "Invaders Must Die" I'm afraid that "Dirty Boots" is far too simple and can be easily countered by Yukio. Soon to be Captain (talk) 03:10, May 13, 2013 (UTC)
  2. Jackie's Fullbring is good, but it has one small flaw. It relies on her surroundings, where Yukio can create his surroundings. If the two were to be pitted against one another, Yukio could easily exploit Dirty Boots' condition by placing them both in a field with no sign of dirt or grime. Jackie would be entirely without offense, and Yukio could bend the rues of his virtual workd to do whatever he wants. (All this is taken using their normal Fullbring's, when NOT enhanced by Ichigo's power) Schiffy (Speak to me|What I've done) 04:04, May 13, 2013 (UTC)

Votes for Jackie Tristan

  1. Jackie's is much better. Yukio's takes some time to work, as seen when he transported Ichigo away, and Yukio's Fullbring does not let him directly defend himself. All Jackie needs to do is spit on her boots to get them to work, she knows hand to hand combat too, Fullbring just augments her abilities. Kamikaze839 (Talk To Me!!) 11:16 PM EST 5/12/2013
  2. Jackie's Fullbring. Yukio's Fullbring has a wide variety of abilities, yes, but he can't defend himself directly, a trait that Hitsugaya exploited easily. Jackie's augments her leg strength, and she already knows how to fight in hand-to-hand combat. In a combat situation, that's more useful. Arrancar109 (Talk) 03:48, May 13, 2013 (UTC)
  3. I'm going with "Dirty Boots", simply due to "All Invaders Must Die" takes time to charge, and Jackie could simply use Bringer Light combined with her augmented speed to get in close and knock out Yukio, rendering his powers useless. Even if both were augmented by Ichigo's Fullbring, sure Yukio could spam missiles and spikes at her, but she could just coat herself in black liquid, and move even faster and break all the projectiles. Sicarius001 (talk) 09:00, May 13, 2013 (UTC)
  4. I think "Dirty Boots" are better in a real fight because it really supports the strenght and speed. Yukios Fullbring is better for training and other stuff like that but not in a real battle. When they are enhanced with Ichigos Fullbring Yukios Fullbring is maybe as strong as Jackies unenhanced Fullbring and is a lot more useful but in a real fight to death I think Jackies Fullbring would be better because of the time Yukios Fullbring takes even if it is enhanced with Ichigos Fullbring. Raijin6 (talk) 17:45, May 13, 2013 (UTC)
  5. Jackie's is better since hers is good for direct combat, not just summoning creatures and rooms. Videogamep Talk 23:46, May 13, 2013 (UTC)
  6. Yukio's Fullbring is powerful, and I'm sure there's a lot of creative things that could be done with it. However, if it has a restriction its that it's structure must resemble that of a video game. There's a reason he didn't just seal up Toshiro and wait him out, and that's that a win condition must be provided. Any game can be beaten and so can Yukio's face. This one could be dependent on how familiar with video games Jackie might be, but I'd gamble she has what it takes to avoid the "Game Over" screen. I might add as well, that their attitudes would probably play a role as well, while Jackie is pragmatic and has a practical outlook to fighting Yukio is arrogant and underestimates his opponents. —This unsigned comment is by Ghengis John (talkcontribs) . Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
  7. well Jackie's fullbring is much more combative while Yukio's makes him too vulnerable at close range. so i gotta go with Jackie Regalo (talk) 20:41, May 15, 2013 (UTC)

Who would win in a fight to the death without releasing their Zanpakutō or using Kidō?

Shūhei Hisagi

Votes for Shūhei Hisagi

  1. I am sure Hisagi would win.He is used to fighting without realising his Zanpakutō so he is a more skilled swordsman.Kira is very good at Kidou but in this kind of fight he wouldn't use it anyway.--Ichigo Tenza Zangetsu (talk) 00:49, May 26, 2013 (UTC)
  2. Hisagi would win since he fights most of his battles without releasing his Zanpakutō anyway and he also has the explosives on his arm. Izuru, however, usually releases his Zanpakutō near the start of his fights and relies on its ability. Videogamep Talk 07:28, May 19, 2013 (UTC)
  3. I think that Hisagi would win here. He always fights without releasing his Zanpakutou and he's by far more skilled swordsman than Izuru. Izuru releases his Zanpakutou at the beggining of nearly all of his battles, but is highly skilled in using Kidou. Hisagi is also skilled in using Kidou, but overall, I think that Hisagi has greater chances in winning this fight.--BlackMamba77 (talk) 10:29, May 19, 2013 (UTC)
  4. I'd say Hisagi because he's been shown to know more about sword fighting than Kira.Olzinn (talk) 10:34, May 19, 2013 (UTC)
  5. Hisagi has been shows to not like his Shikai, and he generally does not use it, while Kira, opinions on combat aside, often relies on Wabisuke's release. If the two were completely without weapons, the fight would be even more skewed, as Hisagi has been shown to be a very powerful Hakuda user, which Kira has not been seen using. Schiffy (Speak to me|What I've done) 12:54, May 19, 2013 (UTC)
  6. The above is usually how Shuhei fights... Sicarius001 (talk) 08:25, May 22, 2013 (UTC)
  7. Shuhei as he is certainly much stronger. Another reason is that he managed to fight Driscoll Berci to an amazing amount of time alone, whilst Izuru didn't have much of a chance against Buzzbee. (Bleachfananon2)
  8. Shuhei for sure. Pity votes are kind but not really what the whole Bleach Arena thing is about, I hope lol. Soon to be Captain (talk) 18:04, May 24, 2013 (UTC)
  9. I <MetastaciaSTANDABLAZE> Hisagi would win this one, authought kira is my favorite, the rules removed his 2 main battle style, and hisagi is a better swordsman.--MetastaciaSTANDABLAZE (talk)</MetastaciaSTANDABLAZE>
  10. Izuru strongy relies on both Kidō and Wabisuke in it's Shikai state whereas Shūhei does not rely on either. Shūhei only releases Kazeshini if he absolutely has to. He's stated that he hates using Kazeshini in Shikai state due to it's appearance, I believe. Not to mention that Shūhei is very good when it comes to using Hakuda, unlike Izuru. Byakuya Kuchiki

Votes for Kenpachi Zaraki

  1. Since they know each other very well and they are of equal speed and strenght, it will be a prolonged fight. In such circumstances Zaraki's instincts, endurance and experience will work in his favour and the fact that Unohana trained him in the art of killing will assure his victory. Stefan (Shikai - "Rust & Shatter") (talk) 22:51, May 26, 2013 (UTC)
  2. I´m definitely saying Kenpachi would win because at the moment Byakuya has no Bankai and Kenpachi is about to get his Bankai. Byakuya is faster and can use Kido at a high level but if he doesn´t get his Bankai back, Kenpachi could kill him easily. —This unsigned comment is by Raijin6 (talkcontribs) . Votes for Byakuya Kuchiki

  1. restricting Zaraki to same strength as Byakuya makes him no stronger than 5th Seat. Zaraki solely relies on his overwhelming physical strength and reiatsu. Byakuya obviously wins this one, as the only thing Zaraki has left is killing lust. Byakuya’s a more intellectual fighter; not to mention his Kido proficiency.   EpaXtalk   11:22, May 26, 2013 (UTC)
  2. Kenpachi without his monster strength? How is he supposed to win without his only card? Byakuya cleans up here. Sicarius001 (talk) 11:29, May 26, 2013 (UTC)
  3. its an easy one. Byakuya will win hands down. if you wait and think all thats great about Kenpachi is his overwhelming reiatsu while Byakuya has the wits to win even a lost battle. --Bleachcrazy611 (talk) 15:30, May 26, 2013 (UTC)
  4. Right now, I'd say Byakuya, because he has more abilities and can fight in all ranges. It would be a long-a*s battle, because Zaraki has a fu*k load of endurance. If they go all-out, Shūkei has this. Caress (talk) 16:00, May 26, 2013 (UTC)
  5. With equal strength, Byakuya would win, clearly. Zaraki has only just strted communicating with his Zanpakuto, and he has no abilities to speak of at the moment, so even the basic Shikai abilities of Senbonzakura would put the battle in Byakuya's favor. Schiffy (Speak to me|What I've done) 17:39, May 26, 2013 (UTC)
  6. Byakuya, he has a much greater arsenal of talents than Zaraki does. Kamikaze839 (Talk To Me!!) 17:43 05/26/2013
  7. Byakuya is more talented than Zaraki. Zaraki wins his fights mostly because of his vast reiatsu, not true talents.--BlackMamba77 (talk) 20:15, May 26, 2013 (UTC)
  8. Byakuya will win. kenpachi solely relies on his reiatsu and strength but kuchiki has intellect. He can outsmart kenpachi. —This unsigned comment is by Bankai007 (talkcontribs) . Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
  9. I lean towards Byakuya Kuchiki. Kenpachi's strength has so far been shown to rely on overwhelming Reiatsu, Reiryoku, physical strength, and swordsmanship. Byakuya currently has a higher variety of abilities to use, is better in use of tactics, and is more flexible when fighting. Kenpachi is still unlocking his potential. ---Mr. N (Discuss) 16:31, May 28, 2013 (UTC)

Äs Nödt

Votes for Äs Nödt

  1. Äs Nödt, if Quilge can use Volstadig and its associated techniques since he's in the Vandenreich, what's not to say Äs Nödt can as well. Besides, one of Quilge's most powerful abilities doesn't work on Quincy, while Äs Nödt has no known limitations on his power's use. Kamikaze839 (Talk To Me!!) 17:43 05/26/2013
  2. Äs Nödt, I think his fear manipulation is terrifying and as said above, Quilge can't use his cage against Quincy. Night486 (talk) 21:11, May 26, 2013 (UTC)Night486
  3. I have to assume that Äs Nödt, like Quilge, can perform the Quincy Vollstandig and even if he can't, his fear manipulation is just nasty. Quilge's abilities, no matter how awsome, are useless if he's paralyzed with fear and can't use them properly. Äs Nödt is one scary guy. Stefan (Shikai - "Rust & Shatter") (talk) 23:38, May 26, 2013 (UTC)
  4. Äs Nödt's fear manipulation would break Quilge, he wouldn't stand a chance. Using it Äs Nödt was able to get to one of the most disciplined minds in all of Soul society, and I severely doubt Quilge would be better at resisting it than Byakuya. --Ginhikari (talk) 16:14, May 28, 2013 (UTC)
  5. Äs's fear manipulation is similar to that of an illusion-type Zanpakuto (e.g. Kyoka Suigetsu or Sakanade), which we clearly works well in the Bleach universe. What's more is that we have no proof that Äs's abilities don't work on other Quincies, where Quilge's powers fail in that regard. Schiffy (Speak to me|What I've done) 16:59, May 28, 2013 (UTC)
  6. Äs would win this one because with his fear manipulation technique, he could easily get rid of Quilge, whose have strenght as his main battle tactic. Also, Äs' reishi thorns could hit quilge with a higher accuracy than his reishi sword. Although Äs would loose in a sword combat, his blut vene could help him with this.--MetastaciaSTANDABLAZE (talk)<MetastaciaSTANDABLAZE>

Votes for Tōshirō Hitsugaya

  1. For once, I'll side with Hitsugaya. His bankai has plenty of attacks even Kyoraku would have a hard time dodging. For example, Hyōten Hyakkasō: if Wonderweiss hadn't come, we could've said goodbye to Harribel. Will-O-Wisp (talk) 15:59, June 1, 2013 (UTC)
  2. Hitsugaya as his bankai can regenerate. Also, it has a good decoy and furthermore, kyoraku wouldn't stand a chance if he was struck by hyouten hyakkasou. Bleachfananon2
  3. Hitsugaya, he is regarded as a child prodigy, and his abilities are often underestimated by even his peers. Kamikaze839 (Talk To Me!!) 16:56 06/1/2013
  4. Assuming they both had the same strength i say Hitsugaya will win because overall if their strength are the same then a bankai would be better then a shikai so i think Hitsugaya with his bankai can win against Shunsui with his shikai. Koori no ookami (talk) 21:22, June 1, 2013 (UTC)

Votes for Shunsui Kyōraku

  1. Kyoraku wins. He is very calm and tactical in battle, frequently using his surroundings to his advantage. Toshiro loses his cool (ironic aye) very quickly and sometimes makes reckless moves.   EpaXtalk   06:38, June 1, 2013 (UTC)
  2. I'm gonna have to go with Shunsui here. He said Hitsugaya could surpass him in 100 years, but it's only been 17 months. He's much more proficient in various areas of combat, and has a Zanpakutō that would run circles around Hyōrinmaru and troll the hell out of Hitsugaya.--Xilinoc (talk) 11:11, June 1, 2013 (UTC)
  3. Kyoraku wins, hands down. he's more intelligent, he's a better Kido and Zanjutsu user and his Shikai is second only to Shinji's and Aizen's in difficulty of figuring out the ways to counter it. Caress (talk) 15:21, June 1, 2013 (UTC)
  4. Essentially a child verses an adult. Kyoraku wins hands down. Uraharattack (talk) 16:52, June 1, 2013 (UTC)
  5. Kyoraku wins. He is far more experienced than Toshiro, and I believe a far better tactician. His Katen Kyokotsu is tricky and we don't even know how strong his bankai is. Toshiro's Hyōten Hyakkasō is not unbeatable, and I believe Kyoraku would get Toshiro down before he could even use it. Night486 (talk) 17:12, June 1, 2013 (UTC)Night486
  6. The new Captain-Commander gets the win on this. Even if Hitsugaya was brought up or Kyoraku was brought down to equal levels, Shunsui is a far more cunning individual whose natural grace with the blade would keep him ahead. While a skilled fighter, Hitsugaya is more of a brute fighter that relies on the power of his shikai/bankai to win in a fight (which is evident as to why he's gone back to the basics to master them).--Mtlmn (talk) 21:17, June 1, 2013 (UTC)
  7. Easy win for Shunsui. Even if Hitsuguya uses Bankai, it had been shown his ice creates a shadow, thus Kageoni would be amazing in this fight, and well... yeah. Shunsui - Victor. Sicarius001 (talk) 00:08, June 2, 2013 (UTC)
  8. This one goes to Shunsui in my opinion. His Zanpakuto's "games" could easily triumph over Hyorinmaru. As far as Bankais go, we may not know what Shunsui's is, but given that he is the Captain-Commander now, it's bound to be dangerous. We even have Ukitake's word to prove it. Schiffy (Speak to me|What I've done) 02:11, June 2, 2013 (UTC)
  9. Shunsui absolutely, I think Hitsugaya's techniques are inferior to those of Shunsui's. For an example Hitsugaya's attacks aren't as good as Starrk's cero metralleta or his wolves, and Shunsui's games were still able to beat the primera, so considering how powerful Shunsui's games are, Shunsui would win. --Ginhikari (talk) 12:15, June 2, 2013 (UTC)
  10. Shunsui's Bankai must be something extra, since he's perfected it over centuries. He's also far more experienced than Hitsugaya and I'm sure his Zanpakutō has more games in store, which noone has seen before.Stefan (Shikai - "Rust & Shatter") (talk) 00:00, June 7, 2013 (UTC)

Masaki Kurosaki

Votes for  Uryū Ishida

  1. Uryu has potential... I'm just gonna throw that in there and hope that he developes some blut abilities or something like that. He has the potential to have/discover these abilities and it's stated that he's a prodigy so he gets my vote. Uraharattack (talk) 16:52, June 1, 2013 (UTC)
  2. While Uryū doesn't have Blut or the training that Masaki had, he has been shown to be a very capable strategist/tactician. He can figure out attacks quickly and plan to stop them. Masaki has only been shown to attack targets head on, and there are many ways around that, even though she has Blut. Kamikaze839 (Talk To Me!!) 16:56 06/1/2013
  3. Uryū is just immense, with super quincy powers mixed with awesomeness, he could beat Masaki any day User:KiyoriIshida
  4. Uryū is the more experienced fighter; these are opponents he battled against and survived: Mayuri, Yoshi, Kariya, Cirucci, Szayelaporro, Yammy and Ulquiorra. Masaki may have fought against hollows, but Uryū has faced Espada, Bounts and a Shinigami Captain. (Masaki is NOT more experienced than Uryū!)Stefan (Shikai - "Rust & Shatter") (talk) 00:00, June 7, 2013 (UTC)
  5. Uryu, despite being the noob here, has a lot of knowledge under his belt. Masaki is probably stronger, but Uyru is more tactful and could pull off a trick that changes the entire competition. --TDG.gif (Talk) 05:12, June 7, 2013 (UTC)
  6. Uryu, despite Masaki having blut we know very little about her powers, while we've seen so many times just how awesome and dangerous Ishida is. Night486 (talk) 17:06, June 7, 2013 (UTC)
  7. Uyruu has tremendous intellect, is a surviving Echt Quincy, plus Quilge has said that his HP shouldn't be stronger than Uryuu's. All Masaki's got is her Come at me bro fatality, and Uryuu is far too intelligent to fall for such childlish trap. So, Uyruu. Go, son of Ryuuken, blood of Yhwach! Nadare (talk) 08:49, June 8, 2013 (UTC)

Votes for Masaki Kurosaki

  1. Masaki gets my vote. While Uryū is indeed a good archer, Gintō user, etc., Masaki can fire her arrows with one hand and defeat someone like White with one hit, showing she is far more powerful and experienced in combat than Uryū. Plus, Blut. Kind of a powerful ability.--Xilinoc (talk) 11:11, June 1, 2013 (UTC)
  2. It's still not proven that Uryu is Godlike(and he is), so right now I'm going with Masaki, because she owned White, the guy who owned Isshin. Caress (talk) 15:21, June 1, 2013 (UTC)
  3. Masaki had Blut. Uryu doesn't. Masaki wins. Will-O-Wisp (talk) 15:59, June 1, 2013 (UTC)
  4. Blut, one handed bow, enough power to defeat White AND gooduse of strategy in battle? Masaki Wins, she would even be able to turn Uryu's Sprenger to her advantage, using the set up process to get a good shot off. Sicarius001 (talk) 00:08, June 2, 2013 (UTC)
  5. Blut and the one handed bow have already been mentioned, and Masaki clearly has more experience, definitely enough not to willingly throw her powers away at the first sign of trouble (*cough* Letzt Stil). And as my final argument, Masaki is an Echt Quincy, while Uryu is god-knows-what, being the child of an Echt and a Gemishct, making Masaki's powers simply better. Schiffy (Speak to me|What I've done) 02:11, June 2, 2013 (UTC)
  6. masaki has blut, Ishida doesn't, enough said.Olzinn (talk) 12:21, June 2, 2013 (UTC)
  7. Masaki gets my vote, she can use Blut, where Uryu cant, she can use helfig piel (misspelled?) where it to Uryu a few years to learn to use it. Sorry Uryu, Masaki gets my vote!{{Purple sky4 (talk) 05:01, June 8, 2013 (UTC)|Purple sky4}}

Coyote Starrk

Votes for  Coyote Starrk

  1. Stark as even though Harribel is pretty enduring, Stark has more "worthwhile" abilities. Also he can use cero almost instantaneously. User:Bleachfananon2
  2. Starrk would probably win; his Cero Metralleta would overwhelm Harribel's small attacks. It has also been shown that his wolves can't be destroyed by normal attacks. Harribel wouldn't be able to defend herself properly against his overwhelming Cero Metralleta or his wolves. --Ginhikari (talk) 19:34, June 9, 2013 (UTC)
  3. I must go with Starrk. Aizen himself picked out the ranks of the Espada on the basis of their Reiatsu levels (among other things). Despite Starrk's laziness, he was on the verge of forcing Kyōraku to use Bankai. This is no small feat to do with someone at Kyōraku's level.---Mr. N (Discuss) 22:10, June 9, 2013 (UTC)
  4. Let's put it this way, 4 captain level shinigami vs 1 captain level shinigami and 2 lieutenant level shinigami. Stark wins this one with both quality and quantity of on-screen experience in battle. Not to mention, he didn't care in his fight that much User:TheSmilingDoubleAgent
  5. Gonna give this one to Starrk. As stated already, Aizen chose who gets what rank for a reason. He was able to do very well in back to back fights against Kyoraku/Ukitake and Love/Rose. It took Kyoraku really having to crack down to finally win, and this is someone who's been a captain for 1,000 years. Schiffy (Speak to me|What I've done) 16:51, June 10, 2013 (UTC)
  6. Harribel will be on the offensive in this fight; with Starrk focusing on counterattacks while analyzing Harribel's techniques and fightingstyle. Harribel won't know what hit her once Starrk gets serious and ends the fight with a point-blank Cero.Stefan (Shikai - "Rust & Shatter") (talk) 02:42, June 14, 2013 (UTC)

Votes for Tier Harribel

  1. Harribel's techniques are more varied and versatile, that and the obvious personality differences definitely push the odds in her favor. The main deciding factor in this would definitely be her determination, she would simply refuse to lose to an opponent equal to her. Sicarius001 (talk) 05:46, June 11, 2013 (UTC)

  1. Tsukishima would win this with ease, as one hit and he will know all of Riruka's abilities and weaknesses. His power to cut through anything would also prove superior to Dollhouse's creations. Tsukishima's extreme speed alone is enough of a deciding factor in this. Sicarius001 (talk) 05:45, June 9, 2013 (UTC)
  2. This is going to Tsukishima, hands down. Even if he were scaled down to pint size in Riruka's Dollhouse, anything he's up against (like that..... pig thing) could easily fall victim to his Book of the End. And not to mention the personalities. Tsukishima is just better able to keep his cool. Riruka wouldn't be able to mentally last in a fight against him, even without falling victim to his Fullbring. Schiffy (Speak to me|What I've done) 05:50, June 9, 2013 (UTC)
  3. Tsukishima is a far more experienced fighter than Riruka and he possesses one of the most useful weapons in BLEACH. Caress (talk) 15:07, June 8, 2013 (UTC)
  4. Tsukishima has shown a unique ability that works on any opponent. Further, he has shown to be skilled in raw power and psychological attacks. Riruka has potential, but she is not there yet to defeat an opponent like Tsukishima.---Mr. N (Discuss) 22:10, June 9, 2013 (UTC)

Ulquiorra Cifer

Votes for Ulquiorra Cifer

  1. This one is pretty simple. Grimmjow is too reckless in his way of attacking and Ulquiorra actually thinks about how he should attack. User:TheSmilingDoubleAgent
  2. Ulqiuorra's cunning plus the massive rate of regeneration he has (which outmatches any of the other Espada) give him an easy win here.--Mtlmn (talk) 06:50, June 15, 2013 (UTC)
  3. Grimmjow relies solely on his strength, but Ulquiorra is intelligent, even if Ulquiorra was weaker than Grimmjow his intellect would still allow him to devise a plan to eliminate Grimmjow. Ulquiorra also has a wider array of powers such as the Resurrección Segunda Etapa, Cero Oscuras and many more. --Ginhikari (talk) 09:58, June 15, 2013 (UTC)
  4. Ulquiorra has his Segunda Etapa, in addition he has a powerful mid-range attack and wings that he uses to defend from long to close range attack. Combined with a massive speed and strength.Taoisac
  5. Ulquiorra has High Speed Regeneration. Grimmjow doesn't. Ulquiorra wins.   EpaXtalk   20:50, June 16, 2013 (UTC)
  6. Ulquiorra wins this one.....Grimmjow uses gran ray cero, Ulquiorra regenerates, releases Segunda Etape and cuts him with Lanza del over for Grimmjow ichigosama 12:23, June 17, 2013 (UTC)
  7. Everybody knows that Ulquiorra is going to win this one. Reasons are: Ulquiorra has 2 releases, while Grimmjow has only 1. Ulquiorra's cero oscuras is superior to that of Grimmjow's. Ulaquiorra can regenerate his body parts while Grimmjow cannot. Ulquiorra's Lanza Del Relampago is more powerful than Grimmjow's Desgarron.

Votes for Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez

  1. Since both have equal strength, and Grimmjow has superior speed, Grimmjow should take this. Ulqi might have Lanza del Rampago, but Grimmjow has Desgarrón and Garra de la Pantera, both of which are incredibly powerful. Grimmjow is the clear victor here in my opinion. Yasutora Sado

Votes for Yasutora Sado

  1. With the current status of Sado's Fullbring, he could easily wipe the floor with Jackie. Jackie's powers were better augmented after she was given a portion of Ichigo's. Without that, a strike from La Muerte would end the battle quickly. Ep123ZangetsuProfile2SchiffyEnter my world01:09,6/15/2013 (UTC)
  2. Although Jackie has superior speed, Sado is simply too powerful defense wise to be affected by many of her attacks, which he could easily counter with La Muerte or El Directo. Jackie has no chance. P.s. Sado has proven to be able to hold his own with Renji's Bankai pre-timeskip, while Tristan got destroyed by Renji with his sealed state. Sicarius001 (talk) 02:35, June 15, 2013 (UTC)

Shunsui Kyōraku

Votes for Byakuya Kuchiki

  1. I see this as a close match up. The key being is range, Shunsui's best attacks are within close range and it has been shown that's hard to do against Byakuya. Kageoni seems to be Shunsui's best move and that's easy to dodge if you are paying attention to him. User:TheSmilingDoubleAgent

Votes for Shunsui Kyōraku

  1. Shunsui wins this easily, his shadow and colour attacks all trump Byakuya's Senbonzakura, as it leaves too many openings for Shunsui. This fight would be shorter than Kenpachi vs Giriko. Sicarius001 (talk) 09:37, June 23, 2013 (UTC)
  2. Considering how strong his games are he would easily win. Even without the games he has proven himself to be a competent warrior; he's shown that he can use Zanjutsu and Hohō masterfully. The Central 46 considers him a worthy successor to Yamamoto, so he has to be strong. --Ginhikari (talk) 12:01, June 23, 2013 (UTC)
  3. Kyouraku would win this battle with no doubts. First of all, he was able to defeat a espada ranked number 1 without the need to reveal his bankai. Authough Byakuya's attack range is bigger, kyouraku's Katen Kyoukotsu abillities are probably efficient against senbonzakura's.--MetastaciaSTANDABLAZE (talk) 20:49, June 25, 2013 (UTC)
  4. Well ichigo was able to deflect Byakuya's bankai just after achieving bankai so Kyōraku should be able to do it. Plus, Kyōraku defeated the Primera Espada with just shikai. --ichigosama (talk) 11:25, June 26, 2013 (UTC)
  5. I know I've used this argument for Shunsui before, but - chances are, from what we've heard, his Bankai is much more powerful than any we've seen so far, save for Yamamoto's. 1. My vote goes to As, as her fear manipulation would be too powerful for Masaki, and she doesn't even need a bow, so her initial attack speed is faster. Another short fight here. Sicarius001 (talk) 09:37, June 23, 2013 (UTC)
  2. Äs would win, his fear manipulation is a fearsome ability (sorry for the pun). Using it I think he can defeat most opponents if they are at the same level, since even Byakuya who is one of the most, if not the most, disciplined mind in Bleach, couldn't resist it. --Ginhikari (talk) 12:01, June 23, 2013 (UTC)
  3. Masaki seems to only know the basic Quincy attacks other than blut. As has shown he didn't need to steal Byakuya's bankai and still put up a fight until he released his bankai. As gets the easy win here. User:TheSmilingDoubleAgent
  4. I have to give this one to As as well. As we saw with Byakuya, As' Fear power renders the strength of his opponent pretty much irrelevant. If Masaki cannot focus on the fight, then the likelihood of her winning is pretty low. Mohrpheus (Talk) 22:12, June 24, 2013 (UTC)
  5. Äs Nödt's attacks are faster and once Masaki is struck by an arrow, she wouldn't be able to concentrate due to Äs Nödt's fear manipulation.....Easy win for Äs Nödt. --ichigosama (talk) 16:06, June 25, 2013 (UTC)

Coyote Starrk

Votes for Coyote Starrk

  1. It's tough, but I'm giving this to Starrk. Rank aside, Starrk has Cero Metralleta. This rapid succession-Cero would give him the battle pretty quickly, and drastically outmatch something like Lanza del Relámpago. Ep123ZangetsuProfile2SchiffyEnter my world01:03,6/29/2013 (UTC)
  2. With all things equal, it's been shown that Ulquiorra's Lanza del Relampago is just as deadly to him as it is to opponents. With that considered, Starrk takes the win thanks to the overwhelming speed and lack of self-damage from Cero Metralleta.--Mtlmn (talk) 03:00, June 29, 2013 (UTC)
  3. Starrk's attacks are better than Ulquiorra's. The only reason Shunsui won against Starrk was that he sneaked up on him and used his games, hadn't it been for that Starrk would've won. Shunsui is one of the best warriors in Bleach and even he could barely defeat Starrk's attacks. --Ginhikari (talk) 14:31, June 29, 2013 (UTC)
  4. Starrk is no doubt a strong Espada. Los Lobos can easily counter Ulquiorra's attacks. I believe that with the wolves and Cero Metralleta would have Starrk as the winner of the battle. Also, remember that Lilynette is Starrk's other piece to his soul so they technically are one being. --Blueknight02 (talk) 14:31, June 29, 2013 (UTC)
  5. The hypothesis is that they both fight on equal terms, so the Lilynette argument is invalid. Anyway, Starrk would win. He is faster and his powers are much broader in utility, while Ulquiorra's regeneration is not actually very powerful and his lanza could never hit Starrk or his wolves. --El Verano(talk) 10:21, July 4, 2013 (UTC)
  6. Starrk has much more variety of useful techniques and if considering they have same level of power and judge them by their abbilities only i would give this one to Starrk Regalo (talk) 18:31, July 4, 2013 (UTC)
  7. While Ulquiorra has Segunda Etapa he is still only the 4th Espada and Starrk is the 1st Espada naturally Starrk should win on that alone not to mention Cero Metralleta and the wolves this fight goes to Starrk hands down--Garybusey92 (talk) 04:55, July 5, 2013 (UTC)

  1. Ulquiorra has a second release state which stark does not have, in adddition Stark without Lilynette, Stark cannot preform Resurrección so Ulquiorra has the advantage --Hyourinmaru2315 (talk) 22:37, June 29, 2013 (UTC)
  2. with equal spiritual pressure, Ulquiorra would win..he can regenerate & has two transformations(which means his spiritual pressure would become greater than that of Stark). Lanza del Relāmpago is pretty dangerous.--ichigosama (talk) 14:11, June 30, 2013 (UTC)
  3. Hyourinmaru is right - Starrk cannot use Los Lobos without Lilynette. On top of that, placing them on equal footing in terms of reiatsu and speed actually gives Ulquiorra the advantage. With two releases at his disposal, he might very well win even if Starrk can release. Mohrpheus (Talk) 00:35, July 1, 2013 (UTC)
  4. Same as the others - when on equal footing with Starrk, Ulquiorra has a pretty large advantage ability-wise and, unlike Starrk, can actually enters his released form, not to mention Segunda Etapa.--Xilinoc (talk) 00:54, July 1, 2013 (UTC)

  1. Sado's abilities are mainly physical, whereas Tsukishima's are psychological. Since Sado's shield arm is a part of his body, even that getting cut would allow Book of the End's powers to take effect. Once he's been hit by it, he's done. Ep123ZangetsuProfile2SchiffyEnter my world01:03,6/29/2013 (UTC)

  7. Tsukishima has another one of those no-brainer instant win abilities. The second he hits Chad, he wins. I don't believe that Chad has the same capacity to overcome Book of the End's abilities like Byakuya did. Mohrpheus (Talk) 00:35, July 1, 2013 (UTC)
  8. Tsukishima gets the win here. While I admit Sado far outclasses him in the department of raw strength, Tsukishima fights with Book of the End, and one hit from that spells victory.--Xilinoc (talk) 00:54, July 1, 2013 (UTC)

  10. One cut from tsukishima's book of end and Sado would lose his s***. If it's gonna be mental warfare verses physical, mental wins. Easily. Uraharattack (talk) 01:52, July 4, 2013 (UTC)

Shunsui Kyōraku

Votes for Shunsui Kyōraku

  1. Since they're on equal footing, I can't exactly argue that Shunsui can do it again since he's done it already. However, seeing as Shunsui has a more diverse moveset and has a yet-to-be-seen ace in the hole, it's hard to see him losing this. Mohrpheus (Talk) 01:11, July 6, 2013 (UTC)
  2. Calling this for Shunsui again. In their real fight, they were already evenly matched, so this isn't much different. When they both fight seriously, Shunsui wins it. His "games" have already shown to triumph over Los Lobos. Ep123ZangetsuProfile2SchiffyEnter my world01:22,7/6/2013 (UTC)
  3. After seeing what Katen Kyōkotsu is capable of i say this battle goes to Kyōraku. Garybusey92 (talk) 00:53, July 7, 2013 (UTC)
  4. Kyoraku already won once, and there is no reason for me to believe that he wouldn't win again. We've seen that cero can't mortally wound him, and camilo can't parry Katen Kyokotsu. So, definitely, Kyoraku gets my vote hereNight486 (talk) 20:14, July 7, 2013 (UTC)
  5. Kyōraku is one of the best fighters in SS..he is smart, calm, agile, vigilant and definitely quite strong...and even after adapting himself to Kyōraku's games, Starrk couldn't defeat him and was beaten by a shikai. ichigosama (talk) 21:30, July 9, 2013 (UTC)
  6. Shunsui demolished him even when he was just playing around and yet he still has his Bankai to show. Also, he's already beaten him. WeNeedMoreDesu (talk) 18:18, July 11, 2013 (UTC)!

Votes for Coyote Starrk

  1. Cero Metralleta pwns all. The only reason why Kyoraku got past it the first time was because of Ukitake.   EpaXtalk   11:20, July 8, 2013 (UTC)
  2. The only reason Kyoraku won was because he used a dirty trick to wound Starrk, which that it hindered Starrk's movements. Besides, Starrk could easily adapt to Shunsui's games, given how quickly he picked up on the rules of what could be the most complicated game Shunsui has. Kamikaze839 (Talk To Me!!) 20:35 07/9/2013
  3. I'll have to go with Starrk here. Shunsui won using tricks (stabbing from behind and changing clothes) and Starrk is ridiculously powerful. With the exception of Irooni, Shunsui's attacks can't do anywhere near the amount of damage Starrk's attacks can. Not to mention the wolf-shaped mini-nukes he makes.--Xilinoc (talk) 08:50, July 10, 2013 (UTC)
  4. They both get distracted easily. The reason Shunsui won in fake Karakura was because he had far less distractions during their battle than Starrk. Without distractions, it simply boils down to who you like more, so I go with Cero Metralleta, the Wolves and Paco de Lucia rocking the soundtrack. El Verano (talk) 9:05, July 10, 2013 (UTC)
  5. Even though Shunsui has the wild card factor of his unseen bankai Stark has been shown to be a quick study so I am going for him on this one. MKalut 10:34, July 11, 2013 (UTC)

Äs Nödt

Votes for Shūkurō Tsukishima

  1. Although their abilities aim for similar means and Äs Nödt has a greater range, Tsukishima has a more flexible ability since he can affect non-living things. He would simply need to cut Äs Nödt's weapon to learn how to overcome it. This was seen in the fight with Byakuya Kuchiki. ---Mr. N (Discuss) 02:47, July 13, 2013 (UTC)
  2. With all things equal, I'd go with Tsukishima on this as he was able to overcome the mass range that Byakuya Kuchiki has; so, in truth, range is hardly a factor for this fight.--Mtlmn (talk) 03:14, July 13, 2013 (UTC)
  3. If I'm to pick a winner I'd say Tsukishima. He's very cautius and managed to evade Byakuya's Bankai, without getting cut; thus he'll evade Äs's daggers. Blut will work in Tsukishima's favour, since Äs will likely block the sword rather than trying to evade it, letting Tsukishima learn his secrets.Stefan (Shikai - "Rust & Shatter") (talk) 21:51, July 15, 2013 (UTC)
  4. Tsukishima. By placing traps in the ground, Tsukishima can get close enough to cut Äs. Blut wouldn't be a problem, since his memory affecting cuts don't seem to be affected by resistance, nor leave an actual cut (remember Orihime). Then it would be over. "All hail his majesty, Tsukishima." SuBash (talk) 01:03, July 16, 2013 (UTC)
  5. Insert Reason Here--AldenHeathcliffe (talk) 04:46, July 17, 2013 (UTC) Tsukishima. His abilities have more range, and lets face it, Nodt only won because he got Byakuya's bankai.
  6. I'm going with Tsukishima here. Book of the End is an absolutely monstrous ability. If Tsukishima planned it at all, he could simply insert himself into As' history, see that Yhwach is As' king, usurp that position in As' memory and then it's gg from there. -Majestic Soaring Cloud (talk) 08:29, July 17, 2013 (UTC)
  7. I'd say even though they both have abilities which screw with their opponent's mind, Tsukishima's is far superior, and, combined with his ingenuity in using it, would allow him to win this fight.--Xilinoc (talk) 00:57, July 20, 2013 (UTC)

Votes for Äs Nödt

  1. They both have abilities that shut their opponents down in one hit - the battle will be decided by who lands a hit first. Since their speed is identical, reach decides the victor. As' ability has superior range, so he wins. Mohrpheus (Talk) 01:36, July 13, 2013 (UTC)
  2. I'm with Mohrph here. In a battle with equal strength and speed, it all comes down to range. Tsukishima is really good at close range, but if As can stay far enough away from his sword, he's got the battle in the bag. KenjiSchiffyTalk to meView my work01:41,7/13/2013 UTC
  3. Äs would render Tsukishima unable to fight after one hit. While Tsukishima’s ability affects in one hit, Äs could probably still fight after being hit, and I think his ability is more dangerous than Tsukishima's. Besides, like Morpheus said, Äs has greater range so he could avoid Tsukishima’s attacks. --Ginhikari (talk) 06:20, July 13, 2013 (UTC)
  4. well as everything's equal, this will be a tough fight...whoever strikes first will win so as both have equal speed, i'll go with Äs Nödt as he can fire multiple arrows at once and has Blut Vene. --ichigosama (Talk) 15:20, July 13, 2013 (UTC)
  5. I doubt that Tsukishima has the power to pierce As Nodt's Blut Vene. Besides, knowing about As Nodt's power is completely different from actually experiencing it. Kamikaze839 (Talk To Me!!) 13:26 07/13/2013
  6. I see it like this. Even though Tsukishima can learn everyones moves does not guarantee a victory, Byakuya has proven that and As Nodt already defeated Byakuya before. I'm sure As Nodt could figure a way to negate Book of the End easily User:TheSmilingDoubleAgent
  7. I say As Nodt because of her power with Blut. User:Bane7
  8. I'm going with Äs Nödt on this one. His Blut could likely defend against Book of the End and even if it couldn't, knowing his power wouldn't save Tsukishima from primal fear. Tommo2304 (talk) 23:06, July 20, 2013 (UTC)Tommo2304

Votes for Coyote Starrk

  1. Tsukishima has no chance of winning against Starrk. Starrk is excellent with swords(Colmillo) & can fire cero in an instant from various points of his he has Cero Metralleta and Wolves. -- ichigosama Talk  22:17, July 25, 2013 (UTC)
  2. When you consider that Starrk's aspect of death is solitude it means that Tsukishima's powers are useless against him as he has no where that he can insert himself in Starrk's past. --User:MKalut 9:01 July 21, 2013 (UTC)
  3. Tsukishima has been able to prove he can close the distance; however, Starrk's range is not just long, it's deathly wide and instantaneous. Starrk would level the field and Tsukishima with it.--Mtlmn (talk) 03:45, July 22, 2013 (UTC)
  4. Assuming Starrk actually bothers to use his full power, this would be a slaughter, Starrk's Solitary nature renders Tsukishima's Psychological Abilities useless, and his sheer power would obliterate any trap. His range would destroy Tsukishima very quickly. Sicarius001 (talk) 05:31, July 22, 2013 (UTC)
  5. I think Starrk would win because he just has to have a distance between them and that´s not really difficult for Starrk. Also there is the problem with Starrk just having one friend (Lillynette) and since she is a part of him I think Book of the End would not work. User:Raijin6 17:48, July 23, 2013 (UTC)
  6. Starrk's long range capabilities could easily keep Tsukishima at bay. Assuming both are at the same level of speed, I believe this is the determining factor. Also, Starrk just looks so much more B.A. Uraharattack (talk) 20:16, July 23, 2013 (UTC)

Votes for Shūkurō Tsukishima

  1. If Tsukishima cuts Starrk with his Book of End, it's all over for Starrk (assuming that speed and strength are equal). Starrk exceedingly values comrades since he had almost no-one in his past. If Tsukishima impersonates Lilynette or Aizen, Starrk would be completely incapable of fighting Tsukishima.   EpaXtalk   08:10, July 23, 2013 (UTC)

Shunsui Kyōraku

Votes for Shunsui Kyōraku

  1. Katen Kyōkotsu's games are not just confusing, they're fatal... Kyōraku is a shunpo master so he should be able to avoid Äs's arrows....also byakuya was able to cut Äs while in shikai so shunsui can do it too...he is smart and cunning as well --死神-隊長ichigosama (Speak to Me)    17:53, July 28, 2013 (UTC)
  2. I got to go with Kyōraku even though we don't have any idea of his true strength. Plus he has as of yet used his Bankai.I wouldn't like to face him in battle, Keep in mind of what Ukitake said of Kyōrakus Bankai. User:Taoisac
  3. He wasn't made the Captain-Commander for nothing. Shunsui has been able to hold his ground against Yamamoto and took down Starrk with just shikai. Shunsui's brilliance is the deciding factor here.--Mtlmn (talk) 17:14, July 28, 2013 (UTC)
  4. I'm going with Kyoraku because he's the head captain-general and he's just a really cool guy.--User:Bane7
  5. Gonna give my final Tournament vote to Shunsui. His Shikai is tricky enough to defeat Äs in such a way that he doesn't need his Bankai. Äs's opponent in the war (Byakuya) relied on his Bankai, and it got stolen. Shunsui gets by without it, so that risk doesn't exist. KenjiSchiffyTalk to meView my work18:37,7/30/2013 UTC

Votes for Äs Nödt

  1. If Äs lands one hit Shunsui can't fight, their speed is the same so it would be easy. Also if Katen Kyōkotsu isn't feeling like fighting Shunsui can barely fight. Which would be harder to fight against?
Suggested by Sicarus001

Votes for Sakanade

  1. This one easily goes to Sakanade. The games of Katen are tough, but you still know which way is up (literally) when against it. You might not last against Katen, but at least you know what's going on. KenjiSchiffyTalk to meView my work01:55,8/3/2013 UTC
  2. Losing control of your perception of direction, equilibrium, and motor skills makes fighting at all nearly impossible.--Mtlmn (talk) 03:11, August 3, 2013 (UTC)
  3. Katen Kyōkotsu is confusing but Sakanade is 10 steps see an attack coming at you from the front while it actually is coming at your back is hardly possible to defend...attacking is not an option against it, you'll eventually lose --死神-隊長ichigosama (Speak to Me)    11:22, August 3, 2013 (UTC)
  4. Sakanade disrupts your senses so you barely can fight so it’d win. One can figure out the rules in Katen Kyōkotsu's games, so you can fight Katen Kyōkotsu, but you can't fight Sakanade properly. Also Katen Kyōkotsu isn't always in the mood; so it’s useless unless it feels like fighting. --Ginhikari (talk) 11:15, August 3, 2013 (UTC)
  5. While Katen you can learn to fight against, it is almost impossible to instantaneously adjust your body's instincts to Sakanade's effects, making it hard to fight against. Kamikaze839 (Talk To Me!!) 12:30 08/3/2013
  6. You can figure out Katen Kyokotsu's games but Sakanade is difficult to fight even if you know how it works. Videogamep Talk 15:23, August 3, 2013 (UTC)
  7. Sakanade as Katen Kyōkotsu is hard at first, but you can figure out the drawbacks by instinct but with Sakanade reversing your perception of up and down, few can fight it. Bleachfananon2

Votes for Katen Kyōkotsu

  1. Pity vote 1 User:Raijin6 04.08.2013 15:45 (UTC)
  2. It might be over thinking it, but I'll give a big PITY VOTE to Katen Kyōkotsu, even though I think it would be easier to fight Sakanade with my eyes closed. User:Taoisac August 5, 3013, 23:37
  3. Sakanade uses aroma meaning air as medium to spread its effects. so if someone controls the surrounding air, Sakanade becomes useless. It only effects the optical senses leaving all other sensors intact. Besides katen kyokotsu controls an entire area by some rules which are tough to comprehend totally during fights. User:arnab04 August 7,2013 6:09pm IST
  4. While it is true that it would be difficult to fight when Sakanade alters one's perception of direction, equilibrium, and motor skills, Katen Kyōkotsu’s “games" vary such it would be challenging to fight against. Still, both Zanpakutōs are difficult to deal with in their own unique right. ---Mr. N (Discuss) 18:17, August 7, 2013 (UTC)

Who is the better villain in terms of plan?
Suggested by User:Qazqaz555, modified question for balancing votes

Votes for Muramasa

  1. Muramasa had played against his own team members(zanpakuto),so we can say that he is the better villain in terms of plan.User:Sosuke Aizen008
  2. Muramasa had a more simple plan, and was able to turn a bad situation to his advantage, showing that his plan was more adaptable. Easy win. Sicarius001 (talk) 12:31, August 16, 2013 (UTC)
  3. Muramasa. His plans weren't nearly that obvious, and as such, were much harder for others to anticipate, while Inaba relied solely on his pseudo-Zanpakuto, and his half-baked Shinigami clones. Arrancar109 (Talk) 00:29, August 17, 2013 (UTC)

Votes for Kagerōza Inaba

  1. As much as I loathe Kagerōza, he had the better plan. Muramasa's underlying motive was all based on his despair over Kōga "abandoning" him. Kagerōza's goal was pretty stupid itself, but it made more sense than Muramasa's. KenjiSchiffyTalk to meView my work01:34,8/10/2013 UTC
  2. Like the person above I enjoy Muramasa as the far superior villain, but his planning was very simplistic and unoriginal. All of his success was from his ability to control the other zanpakuto, and then persuade them. Kageroza had some real thoughtful planning.User: Ya3at0
  3. My vote goes to Kagerōza as his plan didn't have any unforeseen side effects on Soul Society after it failed unlike Muramasa's plan that left the Shinigami cleaning up rouge zanpakuto for weeks. MKalut

Who is the more frightening or "evil" antagonist?
Suggested by User:Nwang2011

Votes for Sōsuke Aizen

  1. I vote for Aizen. He has destroyed many Shinigami and has killed his own "comrades" to reach his goal. His Zanpakutō had very troublesome ability and what's most notable Aizen had Hogyoku. Regalo (talk) 10:52, August 19, 2013 (UTC)
  2. I vote for Aizen because he is the personification of evil. Musab980 (talk) 15:01, August 19, 2013 (UTC)
  3. Aizen here gets my vote. We knew from the beginning that Yhwach was evil, and that we can expect terrible things from him. On the other side Aizen can always surprise us, and you never know just how far he can go, and how much can he screw up everyone. Night486 (talk) 14:47, August 20, 2013 (UTC)
  4. Definitely Aizen. Overall objectives I wouldn't know, but with how he can make people boil down into near-insanity at the drop of a pin, it's kind of hard to argue. A Shining Star appeared!! (Make a Wish) 15:16, August 21, 2013 (UTC)
  5. Aizen had to plot his whole plan in Soul society and to keep it secret. He also didnt hesitate to slay even his own comrades like Ichimaru or Harribel for his goal.He is the epitome of evil and deception.User:Arnab04 August 21 9:15 IST
  6. Yhwach may be technically more "evil" in goals (according to Shutara), but Aizen had pure strategy, and that strategy is what makes him the most frightening. He was able to keep his goals hidden for at least 110 years, which is nothing to shake a stick at. KenjiSchiffyTalk to meView my work17:40,8/21/2013 UTC

Votes for Yhwach

  1. Even though I think Aizen is a better antagonist, Yhwach seems more evil than him. Aizen wanted to rule the world, but Yhwach seems to want to destroy it. Yhwach simply feels more insane and evil. Aizen had some mercy against most people, but Yhwach just mercilessly slaughters his enemies. --Ginhikari (talk) 15:49, August 18, 2013 (UTC)
  2. Giving this to His Majesty. He has managed to cause the Shinigami more pain with one battle than Aizen ever did. Plus, I recall Shutara stating that the Quincies were more wicked than Aizen, so there's that. FutureQuincy (talk) 17:05, August 18, 2013 (UTC)FutureQuincy
  3. "Aizen Sousuke, is without a doubt... the personification of evil. However, do not let your gaurd down, Kurosaki Ichigo, for those Quincy's involved in this incident, are far more malevolent and depraved than he ever was." - Shutara Senjumaru --SuBash (talk) 19:36, August 18, 2013 (UTC)
  4. Sort of an obvious, one-sided fight. Aizen's goal was to make himself king of all things and to reshape the world in his image. Yhwach, however, is aiming to bring everything crashing down for no other purpose than pure, simple revenge (as it seems).--Mtlmn (talk) 03:00, August 19, 2013 (UTC)
  5. This one is goin' with the Quincy. Aizen wanted to rule the universe, but Ywatch is solely focused on ruthless vengeance. RurouniSmartass (talk) 19:06, August 19, 2013 (UTC)
  6. Yhwach, without a doubt. It's the fact he's ruthless and has done damage, both to the enemy and to his own soldiers. It's a plot of revenge that's been in the works for who knows how long, seemingly greater than Aizen's.--ThatWriterDerp (talk) 23:29, August 21, 2013 (UTC)
  7. The guy literally wants to destroy the entire universe. I don't think you can get much more evil than that. Not even Aizen was that crazy/evil/stupid. Mohrpheus (Talk) 03:02, August 23, 2013 (UTC)
  8. Yhwach's whole persona exudes cruelty and evil. He's determined to completely destroy the Gotei 13, and he personally defeated and killed Yamamoto. He mercilessly murdered a large number of fellow Quincy, to steal their powers, and his Stern Ritters have severely crippled the Shinigami Captains, by stealing their Bankai.Stefan (Shikai - "Rust & Shatter") (talk) 03:41, August 23, 2013 (UTC)
  9. Aizen was an awesome antagonist, being both evil and fearsome. But, he had mercy and wanted to rule the world, not destroy it. I think that what we've see for now from Yhwach is nothing compared to what is about to come.--BlackMamba77 (talk) 19:41, August 23, 2013 (UTC)

The Espada

Votes for The Espada

  1. Espada are the strongest because the Fourth Strongest Espada Almost killed Ichigo. How strong do you think the rest are. I vote for Espada. Musab980 (talk) 00:13, August 25, 2013 (UTC)
  2. I too vote for Espada's.Halibel was defeated by sternitters. We ddon't know how many.Coyote Starrk can defeat anyone if he is not disturbed.User:Sosuke Aizen008
  3. I give this one to the Espada. Although their lower ranking members are weaker than the Stern Ritter, their presentation as a group was better and they were more enjoyable as antagonists. Also, I think that Starrk and Baraggan (and possibly Ulquiorra) can just flat out win the Stern Ritter. El Verano (talk) 12:01, August 25, 2013 (UTC)
  4. While the Vandenreich is evil, so far they are really nothing more than cogs that could easily be replaced and hardly missed. The Espada actually brought flavor to an antagonist group and interesting personalities.--Mtlmn (talk) 18:40, August 25, 2013 (UTC)
  5. Even though Stern Ritter may be stronger, my vote goes for Espada since there were only 10 of them, they had more spirit and we knew much more about their personalities. Night486 (talk) 13:12, August 29, 2013 (UTC)
  6. I I vote for the espada, I think the 10 of them are just that much better User:Alecisadick
  7. I believe that the espada are a much better group of antagonists. I admire the variety of the members and the different flavors they each brought to the table. I think it makes them much more "sell-able" as a group. plus they all kick ass. Uraharattack (talk) 00:18, August 30, 2013 (UTC)
  8. I'm going with the Espada here. The Sternritter don't seem to have much of an identity, or a presence. They just kind of get pushed into the shadow of Juhabach. The Espada each stood out in their own way, making them seem more antagonistic. --SuBash (talk) 15:39, August 30, 2013 (UTC)
  9. Even though the Stern Ritter are stronger my vote goes to the Espada for better symbolism. After all each one represented a different aspect of death MKalut 15:10, August 30, 2013 (UTC)
  10. While the Stern Ritter have shown to be quite powerful, we know very little about them personally. The Espada have identities, we got to know them. For now, I say Espata are better. --Blood Prince (talk) 19:27, August 30, 2013 (UTC)

Votes for The Stern Ritter

  1. There is no indication that Ulquiorra was stronger in Segunda Etapa, just that his Reiatsu was denser. And the Vandenreich is strong enough to defeat the 3rd Espada, obliterate much of Soul Society, and bring what's left to their HQ. Kamikaze839 (Talk To Me!!) 01:44 08/25/2013
  2. The Stern Ritter just have the better tools at their disposal, not in the least bit the medallions. They also have the knowledge that the Espada didn't about individual Shinigami. Also, the Espada had a few good members, where the Stern Ritter are a more well-rounded team. KenjiSchiffyTalk to meView my work01:54,8/25/2013 UTC
  3. While members of each group have shown themselves to have captain-level strength, there are twice as many Ritters as there are Espadas. Couple this with their medallions and greater knowledge of their enemies, and the Quincies are a far greater force to be reckoned with. FutureQuincy (talk) 02:19, August 25, 2013 (UTC)
  4. The Sternritter not only have better equiptment, but have a larger *shown* force than the Espada (Not counting Fraccion, as no clue how many there actually are), as well as members being shown as stronger, Hell, just look "A", "B" and "Y"... Sicarius001 (talk) 09:18, August 25, 2013 (UTC)
  5. I think the Sternritter are more interesting than the Espada. And they're much more organised and also much stronger considering Sternritter Y defeated Zaraki and wasn’t even injured. And powers like Fear manipulation (Äs), Self-Doubt Inducement (Berenice), among others are more dangerous than the Espada powers in my opinion. --Ginhikari (talk) 15:19, August 26, 2013 (UTC)
  6. The top five Espada may be powerful in their own right, but at least sixteen of the Sternritter are as strong as Shinigami captains, if not stronger. They are a ruthless, colorful group that for the most part, accomplished what the Espada could not. Mohrpheus (Talk) 15:26, August 27, 2013 (UTC)
  7. I thought that the Espadas were awesome but I have to vote for the Sternritters. Haschwald alone was enough to convince me, he was able to effortlessly break Ichigo's bankai, which was something that Grimmjow, Ulquiorra and even Aizen wasn't able to do. User:Badass Canadian 9:52 August 27, 2013
  8. forget numbers, the sternritters are far more powerful than the espada.Plus they are more organised, more informative, better weapons make them far stronger and capable antagonists.User:Arnab04 August 30 12:35 IST

Who is the better movie villain?
Suggested by Schiffy

Votes for Kokutō

  1. Even though DiamondDust Rebellion is my favourite movie I still gotta vote for Kokuto. He had whole character development while Kusaka just invaded Soul Society and transformed into an ice monster Regalo (talk) 20:53, August 31, 2013 (UTC)
  2. i have to vote for Kokuto. true Kusaka was going for revenge, but Kokuto is a badass, deceiving Ichigo and hs friends to make them do what he wants. VOTE KOKUTO 2013 Purple sky4 (talk) 06:58, September 1, 2013 (UTC)
  3. I think Kokutō was the better villain, because he planned out his scheme better. Rather than steal some all powerful artifact and rely on it, he deceived Ichigo into doing exactly what he wanted by being his ally, then betraying him. Bett plan, better execution. Sicarius001 (talk) 10:07, September 1, 2013 (UTC)
  4. I think Sircarius001 summed up the reason to vote for Kokutō perfectly. Plus because of him we got to see Ichigo's new hollow form again so he gets my vote. MKalut 21:52, September 1, 2013 (UTC)
  5. Kokuto because he is manipulative enough to get Ichigo to do his bidding. Kamikaze839 (Talk To Me!!) 20:04 09/2/2013
  6. I might be biased, because I'm a sucker for Travis Willingham's roles (don't judge me, he's a good VA), but this battle is going to Kokutō. VA aside, he's a badass through and through. KenjiSchiffyTalk to meView my work17:36,9/6/2013 UTC
  7. I strongly feel that in this battle; Kokutō has the advantage. Hell Verse is by far my favorite of the Bleach films. I agree with MKalut, I deeply enjoyed seeing Ichigo's new hollow form again. The added bonus of him gaining the Golden Skull/Hell Armor was awesome.--Dregonis2010 (talk) 19:54, September 6, 2013 (UTC)
  8. Nobody is Stronger than Kokuto. TouchDown Street (talk) 21:26, September 6, 2013 (UTC)

Votes for Sōjirō Kusaka

  1. Out of all of the movie villains, Kusaka had by far the best motive for his revenge, and his inclusion in Hitsugaya's past was realistic and done quite well, whereas Kokutō wanted revenge for being punished for doing bad things. Kusaka's got my vote.--Xilinoc (talk) 00:04, September 1, 2013 (UTC)
  2. Kusaka was nice distraction from Ichigo, his story was focused on Hitsugaya and that was done really great. We were all already used to everyone just trying to make Ichigo fight for them, and then betray him. Night486 (talk) 12:29, September 6, 2013 (UTC)

Votes for After Dark

  1. Aqua Timez is good, but I was never really fond of how ALONES sounded. There are certainly many other openings/endings I prefer over After Dark, but I still rate it above ALONES. KenjiSchiffyTalk to meView my work14:57,9/7/2013 UTC
  2. Have to go with After Dark as well. Byzantinefire (talk)20:20, September 7, 2013 (UTC)
  3. I usually enjoy Aqua Timez but After Dark was a much better song in my opinion, because it sounded good, and ALONES sounded strange to me. Of course, After Dark is still not my favorite OP/ED. Nothing will ever beat Angel Beats' My Soul, Your Beats. RurouniSmartass (talk)
  4. While it is far from as good as some of the better openings (such as Rolling Star, YUI is incredible!), it is still much better than Alones, which I can't stand. --Ginhikari (talk) 16:41, September 10, 2013 (UTC)

Which release type would you rather have?
This battle suggested by TechGenusMasterWA01

Votes for Bankai

  1. Resurrección doesn't seem very nice, considering it can't be deactivated easily. Also, if you had a Resurrección you wouldn't have a Zanpakutō spirit; I think it would be nice having a spirit so you can talk to your Zanpakutō, not just fight with it. --Ginhikari (talk) 20:31, September 16, 2013 (UTC)
  2. I've always loved the idea of Bankai, and lets not forget the obvious stuff. Bankai = Zanpakuto Spirit AND Shikai? What isn't to love? Res is cool and all, but Bankai is still more awesome. (Fanboy grin) Sicarius001 (talk) 01:33, September 17, 2013 (UTC)
  3. If I have to choose between Bankai and Resurreccion, I would rather have Bankai as I find it to be more useful and powerful than Resurreccion.--BlackMamba77 (talk) 15:30, September 17, 2013 (UTC)
  4. Going with Bankai. I much prefer the thought of having a Zanpakutō spirit. Also I voted for ALONES Last week :P Soon to be Captain (talk) 17:39, September 17, 2013 (UTC)
  5. I also go with bankai because resureccion has a limit like we saw what had happened with Ulquiorra And Grimmjow.User:Sosuke Aizen008
  6. Bankai. All the reasons above, + it sounds better and more powerful. Only the "chosen ones" can achieve it. Night486 (talk) 17:15, September 18, 2013 (UTC)
  7. Bankai is extending the abilities of a Shikai and doesn't appear to be as specialized as a Ressurecion. Kamikaze839 (Talk To Me!!) 00:17 09/19/2013
  8. I think I go with Bankai. When Grimmjow was not released, he was fighting on par with Ichigo Bankai in their last battle, but when he released, he was only slightly stronger than Ichigo with mask on. And I have Bankai multiplier>Mask multiplier. Chocho978 (talk)

Votes for Resurreción

  1. Resurección is similar to a Shikai in that you're guaranteed to get one, but it's got the power of Bankai. Segunda Etapa is similar to Bankai in that not just anybody can achieve it, but it's stronger then Bankai. Resurección is the clear choice. SuBash (talk) 17:35, September 17, 2013 (UTC)
  2. I think SuBash perfectly summed up the pro-Resurección argument. User:MKalut 23:43, September 19, 2013
  3. Maybe for appearance alone, I would pick Resurección. Just look how great they look. As for power, there is just some thrill about having your own power. Not a really a Zanpakutō, but your own abilities. It all seems very wonderful to me.--Blood Prince (talk) 23:48, September 20, 2013 (UTC)

  5. Even though Byakuya is stronger and has more bone to his words and actions than Zommari, i still think his arrogance is on a whole diferent level Regalo (talk) 16:05, September 27, 2013 (UTC)

Votes for Zommari Rureaux

  1. They're both arrogant, no question, but Byakuya's got one thing going for him: his arrogance can be backed up by a victory. KenjiSchiffyTalk to meView my work15:29,9/22/2013 UTC
  2. Having the benefit of not being dead, the more recent storyline events seem to have humbled Byakuya a bit. Zommari died arrogant. Mohrpheus (Talk) 16:16, September 22, 2013 (UTC)
  3. Both of them are veeery arrogant in their respective ways. But, my vote goes for Zommari as he constantly vows during their fight that he is more powerful and Byakuya stands no chance against him, while Byakuya is calm and analytical and wins in the end.--BlackMamba77 (talk) 16:18, September 22, 2013 (UTC)
  4. They're both approximately as arrogant, but I’ll go with Zommari. His arrogance is even reflected in his ability; he thinks he can just take control of anything he wants to. He claimed that he’s the best at Sonído, which I take as arrogance, he’s probably inferior to, for example, Starrk. --Ginhikari (talk) 20:32, September 23, 2013 (UTC)
  5. If we were talking about pre rescue Byakuya I may have voted for him. But his defeat has seemed to sort of awaken him. Zommari was arrogant right up to his last words. BANZAI AIZEN-SAMA! :P Soon to be Captain (talk) 01:38, September 28, 2013 (UTC)

Which fight was the best? WINNER!
Ichigo vs. Ulquiorra, the Final Battle

Votes for Ichigo vs. Ulquiorra, the Final Battle

  1. This battle was just more involved in my opinion. If anything, Ichigo actually did more in this fight, even if he wasn't necessarily sentient the entire time. His fight against Aizen just bought time for Urahara's seal to kick in. KenjiSchiffyTalk to meView my work15:10,9/30/2013 UTC
  2. I'm not really fan of either these fights it was one sided battle from Ulquiorra's side and then it was one sided again from Ichigo's side. But still this fight was longer and showed more intense while almost all meaning what had fight against Aizen was Mugetsu Regalo (talk) 16:45, September 30, 2013 (UTC)
  3. This fight was much better, we even got Hollow Ichigo in this fight. The conclusion was very cool. Ichigo vs Aizen was just Ichigo beating the shit out of Aizen, lol (hope this isn't the last time they fight) User:Alecisadick
  4. This fight was waaay better. Fight with Aizen was just about Ichigo being ridiculously strong and it was kinda "unrealistic". In this fight they both had their ups and downs. Night486 (talk) 21:10, September 30, 2013 (UTC)
  5. Things felt more balanced with the initial equal standing followed by desperation before Ichigo finally won via Hollow powers. Ichigo versus Aizen was boring. It was god-mode out god-moding god-mode.--Mtlmn (talk) 22:13, September 30, 2013 (UTC)
  6. This fight seemed more realistic and plot-developing for me. There was also much more emotion between the fighters; Ichigo refusing to concede and eventually being afraid of his own power, and Ulquiorra trying to understand human nature. Ichigo vs. Aizen was just a cocky Aizen repetitively being owned.   EpaXtalk   22:38, September 30, 2013 (UTC)
  7. Simply to much culminated in this battle for me to vote the other way. Plus we got character development out of Ulquiorra which caused him to die a likable character. Aizen only marked the end of a story arc. User:MKalut 23:00, september 30, 2013 (UTC)
  8. Simple decision here, Ichigo vs Aizen was badass, but Ichigo vs Ulqi just had everything for me. Plus, Ichigo's despair about Zangetsu cutting off Ulqi's arm, lega and wing was an incredible scene. Easy win here. Sicarius001 (talk) 06:14, October 1, 2013 (UTC)
  9. Both these battles are, in my opinion, the worst kind of "I am the protagonist, so I will eventually win no matter what" battle, but I am voting for Ichigo vs. Ulquiorra because I think that the final battle with Aizen is by far the worst of the series. El Verano (talk) 14:22, October 1, 2013 (UTC)

Votes for Ichigo vs. Aizen, the Final Battle

  1. This fight was a very important part of the plot, Ichigo showed off his new temporary power, in addition this fight had a bigger impact on the plot. Plus, it is one of the few fights where Ichigo was stronger than his opponent and not vice versa Kamikaze839 (Talk To Me!!) 15:13 09/30/2013
  2. The other fight was simply Ichigo being kicked around until Zangetsu (yes, I'm referring to Hollow Ichigo by this name) saved him. This battle felt more relevant and it felt representative of the arc with Aizen, who thought he had become as powerful as one can get, being beaten down. --Ginhikari (talk) 15:45, September 30, 2013 (UTC)
  3. I would say that the battle Aizen vs. Ichigo was the most important battle for the current plot of Bleach. Everything about that battle was awesome. I've also loved Ichigo vs. Ulquiorra, which also had an incredible moves from both sides.--BlackMamba77 (talk) 17:37, September 30, 2013 (UTC)
  4. Ichigo vs Aizen! For once Aizen couldn't back up all his talking and was on the ropes! Not only that but the outburst of emotion from Aizen his defeat gives me shivers! Who would win in an all out battle to the death? Suggested by IchigoUzimaki

If you watch exclusively the anime, the option on the left is the Zangetsu presented in the anime while the one on the right is referred to as Hollow Ichigo.

Zangetsu (Zanpakutō Spirit)

Votes for Zangetsu (Quincy Powers)

  1. Ichigo's Zanpakuto spirit has been trying to take his body for a while and has been unsuccessful. Ichigo's quincy spirit seems to be more reserved and could have killed ichigo in one of their brawls I think if he wanted too. Soon to be Captain (talk) 22:40, October 11, 2013 (UTC)

Votes for Zangetsu (Zanpakutō Spirit)

  1. Hollow Ichigo (Zangetsu) Never seemed to have any trouble in any of his fights, so I'm voting for him.PcRetro (talk) 11:08, October 6, 2013 (UTC)
  2. This Zangetsu has beaten every opponent thus far and has given Ichigo an easier time in battle, while the other one whenever Ichigo relied on him, he hasn't displayed the power necessary to win. Kamikaze839 (Talk To Me!!) 12:23 10/6/2013
  3. This Zangetsu is simply more ruthless, and is more focused on actually winning, while the Old Man is more concerned with Ichigo's well-being. KenjiSchiffyTalk to meView my work23:33,10/8/2013 UTC
  4. Simply a killing machine, has never backed out from a fight and easily overwhelmed every opponent!!! plus hollow riatsu/attack is a poison for quincies so it ain't actually a battle....but a massacre--死神-隊長ichigosama (Speak to Me)    18:50, October 9, 2013 (UTC)
  5. In my not-so-humble opinion, Hollow Zangetsu would annihilate Quincy Zangetsu. Not only is there a massive difference in power, but Hollow Reiatsu is toxic to the Quincy. The other thing is the skill level and their fighting styles. Hollow Z is impossibly powerful and ruthless. RurouniSmartass (talk)

Who has the better philosophy of battle?
Suggested by EpaX
Question altered to fit the Arena.
Ikkaku Madarame

Votes for Kaname Tōsen

  1. Have to go with Tōsen. While he didn't live up to his own philosophy in the end, the idea that you have to fear your own power rings true. Forgetting this is the reason he died to begin with. Mohrpheus (Talk) 06:42, October 21, 2013 (UTC)
  2. The question is who has the better one, not who applies it better, so Kaname gets this one, his philosophy is deeper and provokes more thought than Ikkaku's. Kamikaze839 (Talk To Me!!) 00:24 10/23/2013
  3. Tosen's all about justice. Ikkaku's morals are of an interesting sort, but they're more focused on the honor of only battle, while Tosen's are an all-around sort of thing. He may have become fairly corrupt towards the bitter end, but his morals were still, on paper, better. KenjiSchiffyTalk to meView my work00:28,10/23/2013 UTC
  4. Simply for the fear your own weapon part. User:MKalut 19:35, 26 October, 2013 (UTC)

Votes for Ikkaku Madarame

  1. I'm going with Ikkaku, why? Well, he will keep gaining power thourgh battles, while Kaname will just wait for a "good reason" to fight, which sometimes doesn't happen for a long time, and he may get rusty. PcRetro (talk) 22:54, October 19, 2013 (UTC)
  2. I agree with Ikkaku's philosophy of battle. Do what you must to win. Fight honorably. And also, do not admit defeat until the end. It just works, ya know? Just wish he showed it more, and didn't get all paranoid about leaving 11 Division if his skills were known... Sicarius001 (talk) 07:40, October 20, 2013 (UTC)
  3. Ikkaku's philosophy is more fitting to warrior not to say that Tosen betrayed and didn't believe to his own philosophy in the end Regalo (talk) 11:32, October 20, 2013 (UTC)
  4. The issue with Tosen's philosophy is the very thing that resulted in him joining Aizen and dying. Ikkaku has a more straightforward, clean philosophy to follow for battle.--Mtlmn (talk) 16:08, October 20, 2013 (UTC)
  5. of course Ikkaku's philosophy is better. Things like fearing your own sword doesnt stack up. Also like a true warrior Ikkaku believes in fighting for his pride and he gives his enemy the same respect his enemy gives. User:Arnab04 IST 1135 hrs
  6. I was a little on the fence, but imma go with Madarame.I like Tōsen's "know and fear your own strength", but it just doesn't work. In a life-or-death situation, go with the straightforward policy. RurouniSmartass-providing facts and opinions in an indiscernible fashion. (talk)

  8. I also like both ways of looking at fighting, but one thing tipped the scale for Ikkaku to me. He fights one on one and HATES when others interfere. All fights should be this way. Soon to be Captain (talk) 01:07, October 25, 2013 (UTC)

Votes for Full Hollow Ichigo

  1. Although both forms are extremely fragile, Hollow Ichigo lasts longer. FGT is very powerful but it's a one-time use - if it misses, then gg. Also, Hollow Ichigo has high-speed regeneration, not to mention the upper hand in mobility, endurance and raw power. Therefore, my vote goes to Hollow Ichigo.   EpaXtalk   08:34, October 27, 2013 (UTC)
  2. To keep it simple,Hollow Ichigo.Reason? Look above FinestFantasyVI (talk) 18:45, October 27, 2013 (UTC)

Votes for Final Getsuga Tenshō Ichigo

  1. FGT Ichigo completely obliterated Aizen, and has very wide range of attack. Hollow Ichigo on the other hand, although fast and powerful, can still be destroyed. Thus far, not even a fully evolved Aizen has been shown to withstand FGT form. Kamikaze839 (Talk To Me!!) 12:54 10/27/2013
  2. Hollowfied Ichigo isn't a transcendent being. Mugetsu, annnnnnd DONE! Soon to be Captain (talk) 14:37, October 27, 2013 (UTC)
  3. Both forms essentially represent Ichigo's true potential, but Mugetsu seems far more destructive overall. High-Speed Regeneration does not work if an individual is damaged beyond repair - Aizen only survived because the Hogyoku makes him immortal. Mohrpheus (Talk) 18:59, October 27, 2013 (UTC)
  4. i think that final getsuga tensho ichigo will win hands down as both hollow ichigo and that manifestation are apart of his powers Getsuga fan (talk)
  5. I think FGT will win. No doubt both Hollow Ichigo and Final Getsuga Tensho are both powerful forms but comparativetly FGT is stronger. If Hollow was so powerfull then why was there a need to achieve mugetsu. And also hollow can't distinguish between friend and foe as it attacked Ishida. --Bleachcrazy611 (talk) 15:14, October 30, 2013 (UTC)
  6. After alot of thought, FGT definitely takes the win. Not only was it more powerful (Took on Aizen and won), it is controlled (So doesn't waste time with satisfaction in a fight). Hollow Ichigo simply does not stand a chance. Sicarius001 (talk) 11:32, October 31, 2013 (UTC)
  7. Hollow Ichigo's full form isn’t as strong. It could easily defeat Ulquiorra, but Final Getsuga Tenshō would've killed Aizen, who is much stronger than Ulquiorra, easily, had he not been immortal. Also the difference is intelligence; a calculated attack is much stronger than an attack without any thought in it.--銀光 - Speak friend and enter 11:46, November 1, 2013 (UTC)

  4. Quincy. They have been shown to be more powerful, they have more variance in everything (Especially the weapons!) And also, they don't HAVE to use their spirit weapon to kill Hollows, with Soul Synthesized Silver, I'm sure I can improvise another effective weapon to kill Hollows without upsetting the balance. 1. I like Hihiō Zabimaru more. Simply, it is more unique looking compared to other Bankai's, and I liked how is looked like a large bone snake. --Blood Prince (talk) 20:08, April 9, 2014 (UTC)

Votes for Sōō Zabimaru

  1. More powerful, looks more awesome, and on top of that is the true Bankai whilst the other wasn't, I personally think it's quite obvious. |----------| 14:47, April 8, 2014 (UTC)
  2. True vs fake aside, I still think Sōō looks better. Hihiō is far too large, if anything, and this one seems like it will prove more useful in combat (beyond what we've seen from the Mask fight). KenjiSchiffyTalk to meView my work14:55,4/8/2014 UTC
  3. Not only is Soo better in overall design but also powerful enough to defeat a Captain level opponent such as Mask De Masculine. Mr.Rig and Zig 17:43, April 8, 2014 (UTC)
  4. Sōō get's my vote look's cooler and more powerful plus it's his real Bankai. Naruto 45 (talk) 17:56, April 8, 2014 (UTC)
  5. Sōō is much better, in my opinion, because it actually makes sense as a Bankai for Renji, and the abilities we've seen Renji use with it are pretty cool. Much more fitting than a giant bone snake with a red Kamehameha a big energy beam.--Xilinoc (talk) 18:15, April 8, 2014 (UTC)
  6. Sōō, easily. On top of being the real thing, it's more practical in a one-on-one battle, and easily turned a Sternritter into a charred husk. FutureQuincy (talk) 20:07, April 8, 2014 (UTC)
  7. Sōō. It is faster, stronger, more compact and just plain cooler. Btw, for those who don't know, this is an absolute curb-stomp against Hihio. Sicarius001 (talk) 07:40, April 9, 2014 (UTC)
  8. Sōō is the best because it's easy for renji Abarai to use it,also it's faster than hihiō--^^kawtar^^ (talk) 15:25, April 9, 2014 (UTC)
  9. While there are a few key attacks I'll miss from Hihiō Zabimaru, Sōō Zabimaru has overall better combat abilities, especially for a fighter like Renji. Plus, its design is just cooler, and definitely more practical. Arrancar109 (Talk) 21:11, April 9, 2014 (UTC)

Battle of the Leaders

Who would you rather serve under?
Sōsuke Aizen

Votes for Sōsuke Aizen

  1. Under Yhwach, if you fail your mission, you get cut down. If you succeed? You'll probably get your head blown off anyway. Classy gentleman. Aizen seems a little more prone to forgive screw-ups (and I screw things up a lot). Mohrpheus (Talk) 22:44, June 5, 2014 (UTC)
  2. One thing Aizen's got going for him is he doesn't demand loyalty, just that you do what he says. I wouldn't want a job where my boss expects me to love him. KenjiSchiffyTalk to meView my work00:07,6/6/2014 UTC
  3. Aizen wants to conquer the world, and Yhwach wants to destroy it. Additionally, Aizen's more forgiving than Yhwach. Yhwach butchers Arrancar subordinates for arguing in front of him, and the Quincies imply that he's still harsh if the arguers are Quincies. Aizen's overall more benevolent to follow than Yhwach. Arrancar109 (Talk) 00:13, June 6, 2014 (UTC)
  4. I would serve under Aizen. He is clearly more understating when it comes to failure then Yhwach who would kill you even if the job is done right.Naruto 45 (talk) 00:41, June 6, 2014 (UTC)
  5. I'd go with Aizen since he seems somewhat more sane than Yhwach and with World Domination, people would still live.--Hockey Machete (talk) 01:15, June 6, 2014 (UTC)
  6. I would choose Sosuke Aizen. He might use me in various plans that I didn't know about and generally treat me like a pawn... but I would have a better chance of surviving if I served under him. Gesshoku (talk) 09:16, June 6, 2014 (UTC)
  7. Aizen. Need I say why? BG9 and Cang Du were still winning their fights, they got hit once, "You die now". If he had just left them be, there would be 2 dead captains. Pure Idiocy. At least Aizen wouldn't make that error. Sicarius001 (talk) 21:24, June 9, 2014 (UTC)
  8. he has this gift which he uses to know exactly what someone wants and give to them, in exchange, they serve him loyally. And of course, he's fearless Aizen, he's not afraid of a thing and transmits that confidence and calmness to others. Aizen. --Amourning (talk) 04:11, June 10,
  9. Aizen seems to be a lot more forgiving than Yhwach. If you make a mistake, there's a good possibility he will disregard it. The same can't be said for Yhwach, who would probably cut off your head if you screwed up.--VinnyLam (talk) 21:09, June 11, 2014 (UTC)
  10. I'll go for aizen sosuke although I think the plans of Yhwach are more successful, besides Aizen sosuke dosen't nedd loyality or drinking his blood to be from his army so I prefer Aizen--^^kawtar^^ (talk) 17:37, June 12, 2014 (UTC)
  11. can be sure that Aizen will only kill you if it furthers his plans, unlike Yhwach, who would kill you if you spilt his tea...VoidStalker123 (talk) 20:09, June 13, 2014 (UTC)

Votes for Yhwach

  1. I'm half-German, I like his 'stache 'n chops, Aizen is silly, my race is closer to Quincy than to Hollow, and he could give me a nifty Schrift(y). Also, he's not planning plans around plans about plans.--Xilinoc (talk) 22:38, June 5, 2014 (UTC)
  2. Yhwach because he's nowhere near as arrogant as Aizen, and his plans are actually plans rather than ego boosters. Kamikaze839 (Talk To Me!!) 15:44 06/7/2014
  3. Yhwach definitely because he's managed to do what Aizen could not which is brutally murdering Yammamoto as he stood, not to mention his followers are far stronger and more prepared then Aizen's Arrancar army. Mr.Rig and Zig 03:18, June 8, 2014 (UTC)
  4. Unforgiving when it comes to failure yes, but because of his unforgiving rule, his forces are disciplined well and wont try killing each other behind his back, plus i need motivation to perform at 100%, under Aizen id end up as Starrk. --Cross of Scaffold (talk) 21:17, June 8, 2014 (UTC)

Votes for Barragan Louisenbairn

  1. I would pick Barragan mostly for his brutality but then again I might get sick of him constantly talking about himself. Mr.Rig and Zig 05:24, June 14, 2014 (UTC)
  2. My vote for Barragan. He's stronger and would make others follow him while we've seen in the series how Arrancars are trying to take over or disobeying even seniors if they think they're weak. Barragan's personality is also better suited for ruler of Hueco Mondo. Regalo (talk) 15:27, June 16, 2014 (UTC)

Votes for Tier Harribel

  1. Living in the desert must suck. With her sword release, Harribel is like an infinite water fountain. The people would be happy. Mohrpheus (Talk) 05:09, June 14, 2014 (UTC)
  2. While Barragan is the stronger Arrancar, the better ruler of Huceo Mundo would be Tier Harribel. She is a strong fighter, has a good head on her shoulders, and has shown that she actually cares for her subordinates. Gesshoku (talk) 17:52, June 14, 2014 (UTC)
  3. Harribel's forces seem to be more loyal to her, so she would make a good leader. Kamikaze839 (Talk To Me!!) 00:44 06/15/2014
  4. I'd go with Harribel since she has a good deal of charisma along with being level-headed compared to Barragan's loud and haughty personality.--Hockey Machete (talk) 02:36, June 15, 2014 (UTC)
  5. Barragan made an adequate ruler, but that isn't Harribel's style. She is a leader who would be respected and admired by her followers, rather than feared like Barragan, despite her considerable power. She gets my vote. Sicarius001 (talk) 16:33, June 16, 2014 (UTC)

Based on their powers, personality, leadership ability and tactical prowess, which Shinigami would make a better Captain-Commander? WINNER!

Votes for Kisuke Urahara

  1. 1 I think Urahara's above-average intelligence and excellent strategic skills would make him perfect for this role. Kyōraku however is too lazy and doesn't take things seriously enough. Urahara all the way! Bartos955 (talk) 00:08, August 11, 2014 (UTC)

Who was the best Villain? WINNER!
Jin Kariya

Votes for Jin Kariya

  1. I dislike them both strongly, but Kariya at least had proper motivations for what he did, being created and cast out then having his people slaughtered, would mess people up!! SunXia (Chat) 13:32,9/11/2014
  2. Amagai ended up being the better person, what with his honorable death after realizing he was wrong about Yamamoto and Shin'etsu and all, but Kariya ended up being the better bad guy, since he stayed true to his evil convictions. KenjiSchiffyTalk to meView my work23:48,9/13/2014 UTC
  3. Schiffy said it all. Amagai's not a bad guy, but rather angry with what he thought was corruption. Even ignoring how Amagai's arc ended, Kariya desired the complete destruction of the Seireitei. Amagai was only driven towards revenge against Yamamoto and well-protected clan. Arrancar109 (Talk) 07:45, September 15, 2014 (UTC)
  4. Pretty much what has already been said. A villain doesn't necessarily have irredeemable to be great, but Kariya's motives and end goal put him way above Amagai, who was little more than a misguided avenger (yawn). Mohrpheus (Talk) 14:30, September 15, 2014 (UTC)
  5. to me kariya was most sophisticated and had a good cause and he was always calm even when he lost to ichigo and died and amagai annoyed me because he was arrogant and so was kariya but my vote is for Jin Kariya. Leon kirigaya
  6. Kariya was a better villian because he had that hatred within his heart to destroy the soul society .He even sacrified his love for that. DeathGod101 my votes for kariya
  7. Kariya was better because he had been hardened by watching his fellow bounts be slain

Votes for Shūsuke Amagai

  1. Even though Kariya was certainly evil until the end and all that, Amagai's motives were much better-defined once they were revealed, which makes him an overall better villain in my eyes, as does him having depth and showing kindness toward his subordinates.--Xilinoc (talk) 10:44, September 15, 2014 (UTC)
  2. Neither arc was that great, but Kariya never really rose above the rest of the plot - his backstory looks an awful lot like Ishida's version of the Quincy events, and his behavior is classic vampire-overlord. Amagai's complex motivations and dynamic, well rounded character make him the clear choice.--Rashkavar (talk) 12:50, September 15, 2014 (UTC)
  3. Amagai had a more engaging story going on and while I did know he was gonna either die or be the bad guy because it's only a filler arc it was still a pretty good plot twist. I admit that I dont remember all of the arc, but I do remember him bein' cool at the start and not actually looking like the villain. I felt for the guy too. --ThatDevilGuy (Talk) 12:17, December 4, 2014 (UTC)

The former Captain-Commander vs. the leader of the Royal Guard. In a fight to the death, who would win? WINNER!
Ichibē Hyōsube

Votes for Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto

  1. For Ichibē's ability to work, his brush would have to touch Yama, which I don't think would be very easy against his Shikai, let alone his Bankai. Thus far, Ichibē has countered Yhwach's abilities with "HURGH" muscle flexes, but I don't think he could just shrug off Yama's fire. Mohrpheus (Talk) 00:56, December 10, 2014 (UTC)

Votes for Ichibē Hyōsube

  1. I'm gonna have to go with Beard #2. Ichibē's Zanpakutō is above even Yama's in power level, and he's got many other skills to back it up. Definitely gives Yama a run for his money.--Xilinoc (talk) 15:26, December 9, 2014 (UTC)
  2. This is a no-brainer to me. Shikai vs. Shikai Ichibē could easily blot out whatever Ryūjin Jakka could do. And if by some circumstance Zanka no Tachi could burn through Ichimonji's ink, Ichibē would have even better tricks up his (rather large) sleeve. KenjiSchiffyTalk to meView my work19:55,12/9/2014 UTC
  3. Ichibē keeps having one ace in the hole after another. Kamikaze839 (Talk To Me!!) 23:24 12/9/2014
  4. Giving this one to Ichibē, Ichimonji can remove any name so his ink would even make Yama's Zanpakutō useless. Naruto 45 (talk) 23:28, December 9, 2014 (UTC)
  5. Of course Ichibe. Yamamoto was killed by Yhwach. Ichibe can absorb all his powers and make Yama's Zanpakutou useless. Hollow Mario (talk) 23:28, December 12, 2014
  6. Ichibē without a doubt due to his naming abilities. Mr.Rig and Zig 06:26, December 13, 2014 (UTC)

The Power Manipulator vs. the One Who Calls The True Name. Who has the more interesting set of powers? WINNER!
Ichibē Hyōsube

Votes for Yhwach

  1. Though I'm a big fan of how well Ichibei's powers integrate, the "true name" thing has been done a lot, whereas power manipulation is completely unique among all works of fiction I've read. Plus, Yhwach's got top-tier Quincy powers and techniques to back it all up, which is awesome.--Xilinoc (talk) 14:45, January 6, 2015 (UTC)
  2. In most power themed things I've watched and seen, never has being able to see the future been so handy and powerful. Ruins birthdays though. I also like Yhwach's Quincy powers it makes him feel godlike, so to me, his powers are just a tad more interesting to me than Ichibē's. And power manipulation? That ability is really cool. You don't often see a foe who can just move and use power however they like.Skitzo1 (talk) 20:47, January 24, 2015 (UTC)

Votes for Ichibē Hyōsube

  1. I'm a fan of the Name trope in fantasy and other fiction, so I found Ichibe's powers really neat. Mohrpheus (Talk) 22:44, January 6, 2015 (UTC)
  2. Ichibe's Ichimonji has more set of interesting powers. Hollow Mario (Talk)
  3. The more broken Jujuman gets, the less interesting he becomes. He's pretty much become the generic overpowered omnipotent type of character at this point. Ichibe remains interesting, and for the most part, more consistent than Bach. Kubo's been pretty good with consistency, but a character having literally everything isn't consistent. KenjiSchiffyTalk to meView my work17:06,1/12/2015 UTC
  4. The power to take and give names is certainly a interesting one, Yhwach's power doesn't even make sense. Mr.Rig and Zig 22:37, January 24, 2015 (UTC)
  5. I think the ability to remove and give powers to people through knowing their name is more interesting than the Almighty which is so broken that you already know that he's going to win. Having a power that grant's you certain victory to me is boring.Sanbi221 (talk) 01:43, April 18, 2015 (UTC)

  1. Of course, it is Grimmjow. Arrancar Mario(Hollow Mario) (talk) 10:40, May 1, 2015 (UTC)
  2. Much as I like the Bazz, Grimmjow is undeniably harder, better, faster, stronger, and just plain more powerful. Where Bazz-B is pretty much all mid- to long-range with The Heat, Grimmjow is highly capable at pretty much every combat range, especially hand-to-hand.--Xilinoc (talk) 14:47, May 1, 2015 (UTC)
  3. While I believe that Bazz-B can give Grimmjow a run for his money, Grimmjow will ultimately win. He has more experience, abilities, and speed. Both are captain level, yes. But all I can see Bazz-B doing is injuring him. Mr.Rig and Zig 21:51, May 2, 2015 (UTC)
  4. I would love to have both of them on the same level since seeing these two fight would be cool because they have such a similar personality but I think after that timeskip Grimmjow is on a whole new level. I think Bazz-B did nothing that should be even close to Grimmjows current level.--Raijin6 (talk) 23:47, May 14, 2015 (UTC)

Votes for Aaroniero Arruruerie

  1. There is a difference between fear and creepiness. Creepiness is psychological, while fear is physiological. In this regard, Aaroniero and his ability to change shape and mess with your head, using your memories against you, is far creepier than mere fear.--Mrlmm0605 (talk) 17:10, June 26, 2015 (UTC)
  2. I admire As's pure scare manipulation. But Aaroniero isn't just scary, he's cunning. That makes him even more scary. Plus having a fish tank with two shrunken heads for a head is incredibly off-putting, and I'm not even gonna mention his released form. ~ Kaido (Who's that sexy beast over there?) 00:35, June 27, 2015 (UTC)

  1. Äs, full stop. Aaroniero's released form and gross mouth-hand are definitely creepy, but Äs has done and become some of the scariest things in the manga. His Quincy: Vollständig nearly made me piss myself with terror.--Xilinoc (talk) 04:58, June 17, 2015 (UTC)
