Nestle to Night is a short story by Makoto Matsubara. The story takes place right after Ichigo Kurosaki defeated Sosuke Aizen. With the collapse of the Espada, Tier Harribel and her Fraccion return to their home world Hueco Mundo, intending to bring back peace to their home world.
Synopsis[]
A few hours after Aizen left Hueco Mundo and closed the Garganta, a quiet peace returns to the realm of Hollows. In the midst of the quiet atmosphere, a dog Hollow can't remember anything other than he is a Hollow and fully aware of the fact that a small Hollow like him would be easily eaten by other, bigger Hollows. However, that never happened because he had a strong person by his side who is very important to him, Yammy Llargo. Even though Yammy always scowled whenever looking at the dog and never showed any sort of affection, he never killed the dog and even until the end never left the dog's side.
Franceska Mila Rose soon afterwards emerges from the Garganta, followed by Emilou Apacci, Cyan Sung-Sun, and their leader Tier Harribel. They comment on the destruction within Las Noches due to the fierce battles that occurred while they were away. In her mind, Apacci curses their helplessness as just a few hours ago they were on the verge of death and in the end had to rely on a human, Orihime Inoue, to recover. When the fake Karakura Town was taken over by the real one, Harribel and the Tres Bestias were also transported to Soul Society. Due to Harribel's severe injuries, Apacci asked for Orihime's help to save her with her power. Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto pardoned them, allowing the Arrancars to return to Hueco Mundo. Apacci understands that if it weren't for Orihime's power, Harribel could've died, but the thought of entrusting the master that she respected to a human even for a moment is something that she can never forgive, including her immense gratitude for Orihime.
A few hours earleer, in Karakura Town, Ichigo Kurosaki suddenly collapses in pain, alerting his friends Rukia Kuchiki, Renji Abarai, Yasutora Sado, Uryū Ishida, and Orihime Inoue. Kisuke Urahara assures them that Ichigo's life is not in danger and proceeds to explain that Ichigo used the Saigo no Getsuga Tenshō technique to defeat Aizen; which came at the cost of his Shinigami powers, therefore Ichigo can never become a Shinigami again. This news shocks everyone present, all regretting their weaknesses and being forced to leave everything to Ichigo. Urahara further explains that Ichigo falling unconscious is the first phase of him losing his power and his body is in the process of time reversion after training for three months in the Dangai. Orihime asks if there's something she can do with her power, but Urahara tells her there's nothing she can do until the first phase is finished. Urahara continues that the second phase would be Ichigo regaining his consciousness and losing all of his Shinigami power to the point he can never see Shinigami, Hollows, and even Pluses again.
Urahara changes the subject to Ichigo's condition, telling them to move him to a safe place until the first phase is finished since Ichigo's sisters would be surprised if they see their brother has grown up all of a sudden. Renji instructs two members of the Fourth Division to move Ichigo. After Ichigo was taken away, Apacci suddenly arrives, demanding Orihime to come with her. Renji and the others prepare to fight the Arrancar to protect Orihime, but Orihime instead tries to heal Apacci as she couldn't bear to let her remain injured. Apacci rejects the healing, however, and begs Orihime to save Harribel instead. To ensure Orihime's safety, Rukia and Renji also accompany them.
Back in Hueco Mundo, Sung-Sun notices Kukkapūro. Harribel can sense the remains of Yammy's reiatsu, and deduces that he has perished after being defeated while using his full power. They then sense several middle-class Hollows approaching; the Hollows who used to be afraid of Aizen now surround Las Noches. Harribel laments that there will be another war in Hueco Mundo. She followed Aizen as she hoped he would stop the meaningless wars, and now hopes there won't be any more war after Aizen is gone. With Baraggan Louisenbairn dead and Aizen arrested, the Tres Bestias believe that Harribel is the only one left suitable to rule Hueco Mundo. However, Harribel states that Hueco Mundo doesn't need a leader, but the dark tranquility and peace it once had. Despite her answer, the Tres Bestias still decide to follow Harribel. As they're going to leave Las Noches, Apacci tries to bring Kukkapūro with them, but the dog refuses. Harribel and Tres Bestias leaves Las Noches, leaving Kukkapūro alone, still staying on the same spot where its master has died.
