<p>Depends if he wants to name the sword in Japanese, if so I'd go for some kind of translation of whatever Durandal and Ascalon are supposed to mean (assuming the words have a meaning, otherwise "Holy/Divine Sword" = Shinken and to extend the name he can go with Shinkenmaru as that is a common suffix used for zanpakutō) otherwise if he's fine naming them in English then go for it, depends on if he wants to stay true to the Japanese naming scheme or not since that's important to some people when making zanpakutō.
